Caspian stonework: We Don't Recommend!!!I would like to share my experience after 1 year of using this institution - first of all the service was so poor, one day, I asked a question about my credit card and why been charged twice, after a few emails between me and the manager, they asked me your son no longer with us and find somewhere else. My son got hurt (he had a good relationship with his teacher) because of an adult discussion, I & my son had a very bad experience with this institution, and he still misses his teacher. I wish you peace and love.

Her piano lessons with Julia are amazing and she learns a lot while having fun. The pre-professional program ran by Ava and Sierra are superb as well. Let's their imagination run free, providing them with an outlet for their creativity. The staff has always been kind, courteous and willing to answer whatever questions or concerns you may have as they have done for us throughout the years. They are like family. Matthew O'Leary: Mr. Ken has helped me with the Bass Clarinet tremendously through the 2 years he has been my teacher. He has helped me to learn many different styles of music and he has helped me with my technique, my sight reading, and my ability to improvise. He is very kind and encouraging, and he is firm which makes him a great teacher. He makes the most of my class time, and I always enjoy my class time with him. Matthew, Bass Clarinet.

He's got funny tunes and jingles for a relaxed class. Want to do an exam? He'll push you forward and encourage (strongly) for you to practice and do better. I passed my grade 8 saxophone exams because of him.
tong iris: When my child was 5 years old, he didn’t have any basic knowledge of the stave when he began learning Saxophone from Ken. Now he is 7 years old, he can basically play simple repertoires by himself. Besides teaching him wind instruments, Ken also teaches him music theory knowledge and related music history. He is a strict and patient teacher.

S: I would not recommend getting your guitar tuned up here. I was billed $669.30 for repairs done without my consent.I was originally quoted around $150 for a small service suggestion, even though my initial reason for coming in was to simply buy new strings and have them put on for me.I found out later that Long & McQuade commissions a part-time technician (Jake) that took my instrument to their home to repair. This could also explain why it took so long to get my instrument back.I had 2 very unpleasant interactions with the repair technician over the phone. Jake was very rude and entitled on the phone. He suggested around $250 worth of repair, so I needed time to think about it. In the end, I called them to give them OK for a $250 repair, as I naively trusted they had reason to believe this was necessary.3 weeks later, I receive a bill that my guitar is ready for pick up, at $669.30!I called the manager right away, and he lowered the price back down to the original quote of $150. The repair description was very loosely described and printed on a small receipt, not even a real piece of paper. Very questionable billing.

camille santico: Prior to meeting Aurora, I had been searching for a guitar teacher for my then 7 year old son to no avail. After meeting Aurora and having one lesson, I immediately saw the difference in the musical experience and instruction my son would be getting from her vs. our previous experiences. Aurora is a very passionate instructor and is very patient with children. I was so impressed with her teaching method that when I learned her co-founder Jannie teaches piano, we had to take piano lessons too! Jannie and Aurora are both excellent at their craft and both have a way with children that I admire. They don't just teach children how to play the instrument but they also go beyond the mechanics of playing it - the intention and the theory. We are so lucky to have found them! I highly recommend music lessons with them if you have a child who is interested.
