A lex: Absolutely horrible experience trying to BOOK this hotel...probably a reason I don't usually stay at Marriott's. The website misled me into purchasing points, which then could not be used, and the points are non-refundable!! After an hour on the phone there was no help. Staying elsewhere. Good luck with their customer service...Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Comfortable rooms and beds, private patio to enjoy outdoors, beautiful pools and exercise rooms. Exceptional breakfast, better than anywhere I have traveled! Special thanks to Mike, my mum needed a bit of extra time as she wasn't well, allowed late checkout. Highly recommend!!!!

Maribel Freis
Maribel Freis: The kitchen staff made my stay! I had never had a veggie scramble before and I had to mention to them that it was soo delicious (I’m not much of a veggie person) the kitchen lady was sooo kind and sweet she shared how they made it and even offered to make a batch the next day. I got to meet her manager the next day and sure enough they made the batch of the veggie scramble. The whole kitchen staff was very sweet and tentative. Making sure to check if there was enough food in the serving trays and the staff kept the tables clean. Thank you for the fresh breakfast. I’d also like to add the lady that helped me check in was also very sweet. I really wish I had all their names because they all deserve to be recognized for their kindness, customer service and hard work. I’ve never cared to have a favorite hotel chain but after this stay I definitely do. And for anyone considering staying here, go for it. The hotel is comfortable and clean and the surrounding area is also very comfortable we pretty much walked everywhere. We had trouble closing our curtain and within minutes someone came upstairs to help us.
Tess Filling
Tess Filling: Staff were very helpful and our room was massive. My only complaints are we spent a lot of time waiting for the elevator, and the breakfast was pretty awful.

Rooms are a good size with kitchenette provided, they’ve got a hot tub, pool and honestly it’s in a great location. What stood out the most for me was the excellent service provided by the team with a special mention to Imelda. She really exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable.Truly appreciate her and the team at residence inn for their courteous and professional staff. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in Downtown Vancouver.

Mandy Ramirez
Mandy Ramirez: Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver, great accommodation. Smooth check in. The only disappointing thing was the service at breakfast. We were told there was a breakfast available from 7 to 10 AM, we got there at 10 to 10, and it appears that most of the food had already been Put away. One of our party members started choking and we couldn’t even find any water and were told that we had to go to the pool area to get water.?! While we were eating, staff continually interrupted our conversation and our meal to try to take our plates that we were eating off of from us, it was very clear that we were not finished, but we felt very harassed and hurried for breakfast, it made for a very stressful dining experience. I understand it was at the end of their shift but if breakfast is promised between 7 AM and 10 AM we ought to be allowed to have breakfast peacefully even if it’s 9:50 AM.
Devon Guzzi
Devon Guzzi: Great atmosphere, amenities, and location. Rooms are starting to show their age though but it is reflected in the low price.Rooms: Starting to show their ageWalkability: Great location

devarsh mehta
devarsh mehta: One of the worst experience I have ever had on breakfast table. If your day starts with such unacceptable behaviour, you gonna regret staying here. This is a place Where breakfast ends at 10:00AM on weekends but they stop refilling food counters at 9:15AM only! The cleaning staff asks you to collect the garbage on your own and put it in a plate for their convenience and starts to spray the table in between your breakfast in order to make you walk away while you are still eating. Very pathetic and rude behaviour of staff is a blow to the name and image of Marriott group. I wouldn't advice anyone to "suffer" at this place. They truly lack courtesy and basic etiquettes.

Stefanie Wills
Stefanie Wills: The staff, location, and food is the reason why I’m giving this place two stars. However, the rooms are very outdated and rundown. I’ve literally stayed in better two star hotels. There were no outlets at all on one side of the bed. There was noise from both the hall and outside of my room from the ships. It was very difficult to get any quiet time. I asked for a room move but was told the only renovated rooms go up to a certain floor. The photos are very misleading. The view from my room was nice but had to pay for the upgrade. Also, no mini fridge, only those annoying fridges that if you move anything you get auto charged. So tacky. Also, the shower/bath combo is old and tiny.I checked out and went to the fairmont pacific rim down the street and so happy I did!

Pan Pacific Vancouver: what do users think?
Robert Dehn
Robert Dehn: If you are catching a Cruise out of here, then book here right now. It’s pricey but worth every penny. They literally have a “cruise deck” button in the elevators… took all the mystery out of “where do I need to go.” That being said it’s here. You leave from this hotel…!The rooms had an incredible view of the water, were spotless clean, and every person that worked there was so friendly and accommodating. We didn’t realize we needed to print our luggage tickets before getting there… and they even had a free business center with a free printer! There is an indoor shopping / food center directly across the street. Had a few stores / cheap food options as well and an indoor / outdoor sitting area. Grabbed a coffee and some travel essentials without issue.Protip. Ask the front desk to have the bellhops to take care of delivering your luggage to the cruise ship. We handed them off from our room (for a worth it, 5 dollar per bag fee!) …and then we we’re able to walk around Vancouver luggage / stress free for a few hours! Big win.

Tanya: It's the little things that matter. We arrived after a 14hr flight at the hotel at 8:30am. Dreading the late check-in, we were told our room was ready and we could go straight in. The porter was about 2 minutes behind us with our bags. Excellent! Twin beds that were double size. Pillows that were so comfortable. Shower curtain on a rail that was arc-ed outwards - the curtain didn't slap around you as you showered. Bathroom products that not only smell nice, but didn't feel like the cheapest, driest washing liquid. Positioned right on top of the cruise terminal making it easy for us to travel onward. A really really nice place to stay.

Steve Wilkins
Steve Wilkins: Stayed for four nights pre an Alaska cruise. We had a club deluxe double double room, which was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was adequate. Service was good from the staff we spoke with. Breakfast in the club lounge was of a high standard, and there is no need to pay extra for breakfast if you book a club room. I didn't think the hotel, in general, was of the same luxury as other Pan Pacific's I've stayed in. Nevertheless, I would recommend and stay again in the future.

Chris Fowler: First time staying here and likely will try another hotel first if we have to stay in Vancouver again. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable . The staff were very pleasant and helpful and seemed happy to be working here.Bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Pillows were a bit small and soft, but we had a good night sleep anyways. The reasons for for not getting more stars are:Parking is isn’t included, yes a small discount is given, and there was always someone patrolling the area, which a gave me piece of mind, but I have gotten security and parking included at hotels just up the street. Maybe it’s because I am not from the city, but $50+ for 24hrs of parking…. Ouch.No breakfast, or deals on food.TV, after a long day or running around, we couldn’t watch anything good or recent unless we wanted to pay. Now maybe I am wrong , but then it wasn’t clear how to watch anything good or recent.Didn’t try the internet.A hotel of this size, would be very difficult to paint and modernize, so I don’t mind that everything felt a bit dated.IMO not worth the price.

Anna Marie Witthohn
Anna Marie Witthohn: I was in love with this hotel !! It’s right next to the beach, it has some really fun interior design, and the service was above and beyond truly. They seriously had someone standing by the front door who opened the door for me every time I came out or in. Talk about being made to feel like a guest! The whole time they were just so accommodating and nice and helpful. They gym was small, but also, it’s a 3 minute walk from the beach so why wouldn’t you just go running there ?? That’s what I did. The sauna was incredible tho. I really loved it here 5 stars y’all rock !

Roger S
Roger S: The pub food is absolutely disgusting - this used to be decent place, yet they've gone completely down hill. Had lunch today and our Asian waitress with limited English could only point at menu items, respond with 'ok' and smile. Our burgers where beyond gross....thick dry "beef" patty, wilted lettuce, old hard bacon served with large cut greasy fries. No effort, care or attention - perhaps the dishwasher made it due to being short staffed?? Upon entering the hotel lobby, we saw a male staff member with a grocery bag filled with provisions scurrying towards the kitchen - how tacky! I guess they expect their customers to be drunk in order to eat the garbage they shovel out??? Very, very disappointing as a Westend local of 30 years to experience the deteriation of what was once upon a time, a great place to eat when they actually took pride in their food quality. Will not return or recommend going forward.
Paul E.
Paul E.: A perfect hotel to stay at in downtown Vancouver. The room was spacious, decorated very tastefully and the bed was incredible. To top it off the staff is friendly and willing to help out with requests. If I'm back in Vancouver I know where I'm staying!Rooms: The room was quite large and comfortable. The microwave and refrigerator were very handy to have. The shower was wonderful and the bed was just right for a restful night.Walkability: You're very close to restaurants, grocery and drug stores in case you need anything. Edwina Caparelli: The only reason I didn't give the room a five stars was because we were over the bar, but we knew we were going to be. I'm a cleaner and I found the rooms to be very clean. I inspected it like I would inspect the cleaners at my job, they took the time to dust in places that normally you would not check. The hotel staff was super kind. There was a programming error with my card key but I think the onsite manager or maintenance person was super helpful. The bar downstairs was a gem--such good food. Waiter took our order without taking any notes and got it spot-on. The food was so good and the price even better. The location is perfect because it's right on English Bay; you have so so many options for food! The cactus club is across the street, you've got endless middle Eastern restaurants, your choice of Starbucks or Tims. Transit is right outside the hotel. I will be back next trip. Price was right too!

Hossein s: We went to the Botanist with friends. The food was excellent. Especially the lamb was delicious and fresh.Obviously this place is fine dining with its special prices. The food quality was indeed at the level of its pricing. My only issue with the food is, and this very subjective, the presentation was over crowded.

Tim C.
Tim C.: A bit of a background, I have a very long history with Fairmont PacRim ever since I discovered it back in 2012. I have made many return visits several times a year and basically obtained Accor Diamond status just from Fairmont stays alone.A lot has happened since my last negative review of this place. It was in the transition to a new management team and new staff on the gold floor. I am happy to say that all of my issues with my previous bad experience have been rectified, and it is now once again among the finest properties I've had the opportunity to stay at. (Even compared with some of the most exclusive European boutiques!)Jasmine and her entire Fairmont Gold staff have everything dialed in. They remember our preferences, and try their best to make each of our visit special from extremely generous upgrades to little things like setting up desserts in our room. Although a lot of familiar faces have left to pursue new ventures, I am really liking Jasmine and her team. Her attention to every detail is what makes our visits so wonderful, and I am looking forward to enjoying many more stays at this world class property.
Vincent Silver
Vincent Silver: Above and beyond the usual strengths from the Fairmont brand (prime locations/ luxury amenities), this particular Fairmont delivers on an experience that is second to none. The service is tirelessly outstanding and consistent from the doormen, front desk, bellhop, dining, bike attendant, valet to the concierge. The foyer has a bustling vibe but it’s so well staffed. Dining is busy as well so I appreciated how eager staff are to accommodate. The established work culture at this location is so rare to witness these days (it’s why I’m writing this review). I booked with my Amex this time and received more perks than when I booked directly with Fairmont in the past. Regardless, with or without the perks, this hotel offers incredible value; Canadian hospitality at its finest.
Sam Wong
Sam Wong: Location is amazing. Room is not styling but very well settled in details. Room amenities are upscale. The harbor view is stunning. Food and service in the restaurant are fabulous and impeccable. However, the service from Front Office staff is not up to par which ruined the whole experience of our arrival AGAIN in two months. Last time we booked the partial harbor view room, but we got a room on the very lower floor with buildings and swimming pool view in March. Today we check in at 5pm, we were informed that the room is not ready. We booked through AMEX ( been called “the 3rd party” from Front Office) which is entitled noon check-in if available. But considering it is long weekend we chose to check-in late in order to get the room instantly while checking in. We were shocked while the FO staff informed us that the room was not ready at that moment. After a chat with the Front Office Manager, we immediately got a clean room which is exactly our room type. We were even more upset with the experience, so we were wondering why we could not get the room which is already been cleaned and ready to check-in. Instead, the Front Office wanted us to wait since room is available. We have stayed with Fairmont for years with Accor member. While we were trying to let the front office hook up our reservation to the guest profile, they told us they could not do it, and kept saying that as the system been changed, there’s no guest data been kept in their new system, except for Accor member. Front Office Manager was shocked when we let her know that we do have the membership.I am not sure what exactly the reason why they did not provide us the ready room while checking-in. I did not know the excuse that why they refuse to look for the guest profile.I just feel like we are not welcomed to stay at Pacific Rim.Maybe I should book through other channels instead of through “the 3rd party” like American Express.Sure thing is for our next staycation, we definitely won’t stay with Fairmont Pacific Rim
Nader El-Ramly
Nader El-Ramly: Stay at the Pan Pacific downtown due to some unexpected renovation nightmare. Turned it into a tourist in my own city vacation. Staff were amazing, great rooms and beautiful views! The location is perfect.Walkability: Great walkability. Close to lots of attractions downtown Vancouver within 15 to 20 minutes walk.

Stefanie Wills: I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The staff, food, location and value are all wonderful. My bed was so comfy. My room was on the 19 floor and I had a very small room but it amazing view of the harbor and mountains. My only gripe was that because of the automatic curtains they do not go long enough and the bright light woke me up every morning at 6 am and the seaplanes outside make a lot of noise. I hoped to have a soaking bath but the large bathroom and shower made up for sit. Other than that, it was perfect!

Shailesh Dalmia: Disgusting check in. Long queue. Each check in taking about 15 mins per guest! I mean wow! In todays age n time when it usually takes in about few mins. Were Centurion Card members and had put in an early request for check in at 12 noon but they allotted room only at 3.15. Waited for more than 3 hours. We kept on checking with the check in desk at regular intervals and they said that the room was being cleaned. This continued on for about 1.30 hours. We guessed that they had taken a “vow” not to allocate the room before 3.Anyways we waited. No choice. At 3pm, still room not alloted. Thats the time we decided to meet the Guest Relations manager. I just asked her that such a big hotel, couldnt they accomodate a single room early. The Guest relations manager replied with a curt no. I would have expected her to be a bit apologetic but her behaviour was rude. She said were just 15 mins late and looked as if its a big deal! Then she asks me what can she do? Im not the kind of client who looks for favours. Not me! Would have appreciated a simple sorry and a body language being sorry about it. But this was: WoW! She was not bothered. This is really sad. It seems just business for her.Ive stayed earlier at the hotel and would hold it as one of my most favourite stays.Really disgusting this time. Not staying next time for sure.

SureStay Hotel By Best Western North Vancouver Capilano: what do users think?
Chris Stephen
Chris Stephen: This is my "go to" hotel when I'm visiting the North Shore. It's a older hotel, but it's very clean, comfortable and the staff are helpful, friendly and welcoming and you can't beat the price, great value. The attached restaurant is convenient, food is good and again, welcoming staff.Noteworthy details: It's a good location central to West Van and North Van... only challenge is access on Capilano Road travelling south off the Upper Levels highway.
Cheryle Major
Cheryle Major: Staff was very nice and the hotel entrance was very home like and very nicely decorated. My room was very comfortable and spacious. I will definitely be staying in your hotel again.

J Speed
J Speed: This hotel surprised us! The rooms are very basic, and all you need for a few nights. The hotel is older but very well kept and clean, the room had an AC unit which was nice for 28 degree weather. It was very easy to Uber to downtown Vancouver, for a night out. There's also free parking and a big pool, which was unfortunately closed when we visited. For breakfast we went to De Dutch which was in the hotel. Overall I'd recommend staying here.

Then she said in this money you get what you pay for otherwise go get a hotel at waterfront !! this was a shock for us! however as she hardly understood english so we didnt argue on anything and just went in our room...only stayed there as it was really late an we were tired but not a good experience despite of being at such an excellent location.

Michael Bailey: I give it a 3 star because the parking is a ridiculous situation of far too few spots to hold a group of any size, given the attached mall uses the very few spots available.Management responds that they have 300 parking spots, they must be incredibly well hidden as parking issues and tickets were the buzz and bane of the conference.

Arthur: Great location for the airport as only a 10minute drive away. That said the hotel doesn't have a great deal of parking available on site so may have to park at the nearby mall. Its a 2 minute walk to the nearest metro station Aberdeen and that line will take you to Olympic Park/Yaletown. The rooms have been redecorated recently and service helpful and swift. There's a pool and jacuzzi. The hotel also has a complimentary airport shuttle which runs on the hour (not sure of start and finish times). There's also the option of leaving luggage at reception if you have time to sightsee before your flight.

Their water pressure is off the hook if you're the type to enjoy being sandblasted. Ivan Sasin
Ivan Sasin: very terrible hotel. I don't really recommend. firstly, they only have a sign for Radison, inside there is an announcement that this hotel belongs to another company. everything is worn out, after going to the toilet, the water began to run up the toilet to the floor, I called Retsepshin, they said that there was no one to fix it and they would relocate me. I closed the technical tap from the drain tank, but none of the staff even checked what was there. the new room smelled of fungus and mold, which is very dangerous for health. if you previously chose the Radison because it is a high standard, then the Vancouver Radison is very, very bad. their good - clean bed, near the subway. cheap price of living. near the airport. a taxi from/to the airport will cost $15/20. from the hotel to the center of Vancouver by subway 15-20 minutes. also for those who are by car, I advise you to use the metro. in the city it will be difficult for you to park your car. or spend a lot of money
Hanh Luong
Hanh Luong: We spent 2 nights at the hotel and everything is great. The room is nice but the bathroom is a bit old. The bed has a lot of pillows and they are all comfy and soft. Monica Tsang: My colleagues and I had a very restful stay at this location. The pool was clean and I had it all to myself. The staff was super responsive to our needs, for example, fixing the tv cable immediately, receiving toiletries when requested, late checkout. The upstairs patio had a very nice view of the underbellies landing at YVR. I never got a chance to sit down for breakfast, but my colleagues said the turkey sausage, egg and waffle breakfast was filling. Thanks for a very pleasant stay.

We stayed here three years ago to overnight for a flight and was very appreciative of their shuttle service. We found out this time though that the shuttle service had been discontinued. Unfortunately our cab driver wasn’t too impressed that he drew the short straw with our trip, even though the fare was $20. Not the hotel’s fault at all, but maybe a consideration to bring back the shuttle service 😊. We did have a fantastic Uber driver service the next day to the ferry terminal!

kalesh lalan
kalesh lalan: I recently had a very unpleasant experience with the staff at this hotel. I called to make a reservation for May 10th, 2023, and spoke with a staff member named Jasmine. I specifically requested a room with two double beds and was quoted a rate of $189 plus tax, which would come out to $219.24. However, when I received my confirmation email, the rate quoted was $219 plus tax. I called Jasmine back to inquire about this discrepancy, and she informed me that the original rate she quoted was actually for April, not May. She then suddenly increased the rate to $277 plus tax.I expressed my disappointment and frustration, but Jasmine was unhelpful and unsympathetic. She told me that if I didn't want to pay the new rate, I could cancel my reservation. I requested to speak with a manager and was transferred to someone named Sims, who was incredibly rude and dismissive. She showed no interest in resolving the situation and instead told me to cancel my reservation. As a frequent guest of this hotel (I stayed here at least 5 times last year), I was extremely disappointed by the unprofessional and unsatisfactory customer service I received. I believe that mistakes can happen, but the way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable. I have all the different rates that were sent to me, and I intend to bring this issue to the attention of the regulatory authorities. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to others.

I have all the different rates that were sent to me, and I intend to bring this issue to the attention of the regulatory authorities. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to others.

Rosewood Hotel Georgia: what do users think?
Rosa Yuan
Rosa Yuan: My mom and I enjoyed our stay. The reception desk, especially Alona and Phoebe are very nice and kind to us and they ensured a smooth check out experience. The in room dining team also did an excellent job for providing us breakfast for a few days, expecially the last day when we left at 5:20AM. Breakfast was packed and delivered to us on 5AM at the door. Thank you for your great hospitality to make it feel home during our 6 nights.Walkability: Convenient location at downtown. Very safe to walk about in the city.

Jane Leung: I was very impressed by the service and accommodations at the Rosewood Hotel Georgia. The staff worked well as a team to meet the expectations of the hotel guests. The food at the 1927 restaurant and at the outdoor patio Reflections was very good. I was most impressed with the management and staff who introduced themselves to us. The hotel is in a central location with many ways to connect to shopping, dining and attractions like the Granville Market. I will definitely come back.Rooms: My room had a lovely view of the library. The bed and bedding were comfortable and I had a sofa to relax in. The bathroom amenities included a heated floor, generous-sized bath tub and shower, bathrobes and slippers. There is turndown service in the evening which was lovely. My room attendant had my slippers laid out by my bed with bottled water and biscuits placed on my bed table.Nearby activities: It is easy to take a taxi or Uber to all the city attractions.Walkability: It was easy to walk out of the hotel and find stores, coffee shops, etc.Food & drinks: The location is close to many restaurants and cafes. There is a diversity in the offerings. There is a bakery next door to the hotel.

Sarah Kazimi
Sarah Kazimi: Upon booking a deluxe king suite, I was disappointed to find the washroom covered in fingerprints and the floor dirty with unidentified white substances. To document the state of the room, I took pictures. Additionally, I had inquired about room upgrade options prior to arrival, hoping to surprise my fiancé for his birthday. However, the person I spoke to on the phone informed me that the only available room was priced at an exorbitant $4,000 per night, which I found to be quite insulting.Upon check-in, I encountered another issue when the front desk attendant not only requested my identification, which is standard as the booking was under my name, but also asked for my fiancé's ID. This struck me as peculiar since we have stayed in numerous hotels before, and it has always been sufficient to provide the ID of the individual the room is booked under. My fiancé felt profiled due to his African American heritage, further exacerbating the situation. After calling to express my dissatisfaction with the room's condition, the hotel staff kindly arranged for us to switch to a different room, which I genuinely appreciated. It is worth noting that I have previously attended several work events in Georgia and held a great fondness for this particular establishment. Regrettably, this experience has significantly tarnished my perception.

Paul Gabay
Paul Gabay: I loved the hospitality. Every staff members I interacted with were extremely welcoming and very helpful. My suite had everything I needed with the exception of a USB port. The room was clean and the bathroom and shower was really nice. I enjoyed my workouts in the fitness room. There was a great selection of equipment. I felt the hotels location was prime and there was lots to do in the area. I look forward to my next stay.
Kathleen Kaufman
Kathleen Kaufman: I am extremely picky about hotels; this is one of the nicest I've ever stayed in. The hotel itself, including the room, is beautiful. And so many lovely little touches, like the heated floor in the bathroom, the nightly turn-down service with cookies, the thank you notes from the housekeepers for tips I left, and every amenity you could even think of. Every single staff person simply could not have been nicer or more helpful. This is the only hotel I'd use in Vancouver- I highly recommend them!Rooms: One of the most beautiful rooms I've stayed in. Lovely seating area with a couch. Gorgeous bathroom with heated marble floors.Walkability: Nice area to walk around in, with lots of shops restaurants.Noteworthy details: Gorgeous hotel and room.

Josi Twigt
Josi Twigt: Stayed in one room with my husband and two young kids. This was the absolute BEST hotel experience we have ever had as a family! The service was amazing. Every single staff person we encountered was kind, welcoming, efficient, helpful, and fantastic. My kids felt safe and adored and my husband and I were relaxed and pampered. Thank you!!Kids got ‘their size’ robes, we were given complimentary snacks upon arrival, and after turn down service we found bookmarks by every book left out and screen wipes on top of my husbands iPad. It was above and beyond. Shower was WONDERFUL and beds and pillows were perfection.Walkability: We were able to easily walk around and discover the neighborhood. Visited a friend’s hotel by foot and walked to various restaurants nearby.Food & drinks: Room service breakfast was decadently delicious. And the coffee provided in the room was better then my fancy machine at home!

Leon Chretien
Leon Chretien: It was a decent, late night stay after leaving YVR. Strange setup with the one bed's access being blocked off by a weird jog in the closet wall so that I had to jump over the corner of the bed to sleep on the outside as my wife "needs" the inside spot all the time. Overall, it was the lowest price room on Expedia in the area, so I will count it as fair value. Close to Willowbrook Mall, which was the initial reason for my search of the area.

Kelly Platzer: Great staff and awesome room. Loved that there was a Whitespot attached. Only complaint is our room was right above the swimming pool and a group of teenage girls were using it and screaming for over an hour. We had two young children with us, and even through a sound machine kept waking the kids up, until my husband finally went to the front desk at 830pm and ask them to do something.

Paige Wood: I don't recommend this hotel to anyone traveling alone or with pets.We had a very poor experience here. The rooms are really nice and the staff are professional however if there is a problem, it feels like no one cares. Our first night was great. Just what you expect. The next night the fire alarm went off at 3am. When everyone gathered outside, there were homeless people and a lot of the guests were being harassed. We went to our car to get away from the commotion just to have a different homeless person come and start yelling and pounding on our windows. If I wasn't with my husband and my dog I don't know what would have happened. He almost smashed the windows in.Then to top it off the next day when we were trying to get into the hotel, there was another guest out with his dog. They did not have it on leash so as we were exiting our car we asked them to kindly put it on a leash as we have a dog too and don't know if their dog is friendly. He said it was friendly yet it proceeded to bark, growl and push us back into our car. Now our dog is upset and wanting to protect us. I jump into the car away from the aggressive dog. Meanwhile the man keeps saying his dog is friendly and we ask him again to put it on a leash. The guy just starts freaking out on us. Apparently asking to follow the hotel rules is the wrong thing to do here.We told the front desk this as the man and his barking dog are right across the hallway from us. We wanted to move or change hotel. They did nothing. We would have changed hotels due to all of this but we were unable to because of the cancelation policy.I will not stay here again. I recommend going to the Aldergrove Best Western as I have not experienced a bad situation there. Should have gone there in the first place.Safety: Not safe for solo, kids or pets
