Annice Hardin: Dr Medvedev communicates clearly and professionally with patients. My experience has been positive and he follows up with me. Thank you Dr Medvedev.
Olga Balov: Great doctor, very knowlegable and caring
Ms Rose: This doctor has compassion fatigue. Is disrespectful and dehumanizing. Patients beware.
i drink Water: I saw dr medvedev for my arms and he spent a good deal of time with me and is currently fighting to make sure I make my way through the system as fast as possible. I’m seeing a physiatrist soon and potentially a surgeon and getting extensive rehab afterwards. I’m really happy with his bedside manner as well.
Gary Horton: An amazing and caring doctor. A pleasure to speak with and very understanding. But his secretary, Sandy, is fabulous too -- fun and so so personable!!!
Anne Fletcher: Finally, after suffering from back pain and nerve damage, I met Dr. Medvedev who was so caring, interested in all of my medical history and he spent an hour with me. I have never met a Doctor with such a deep interest in his field of expertise. Dr Medvedev made me feel so much reassurance that I be OK.He was the 7th Specialist I have seen in over 2 years and he diagnosed my problem and started a treatment plan!Great job Dr Medvedev!

K Zee: Was seen by Dr Toth on Jan 6. Diagnosed with severe carpal tunnel. Advised I would be able to get into surgery within a month. It’s March 20th today and I have yet to hear from anyone. Called the plastic surgeons office where my referral was supposedly sent, they’ve never heard of me. Someone in Dr Toths office completely dropped the ball. Really disappointed. I called Dr Toths office to follow up and they took zero responsibility nor had any empathy for how long I’ve hard to wait. Welcome to health care in Canada. Ridiculous
ali damani: I have been seeing my one of my two Neurologist's at Burnaby Hospital, Multiple Sclerosis Clinic since 2010. I know the receptionist quite well. My two Nurses are just amazing also 🤡. My other neurologist for pain 🤐🙃

Mandy: I had an appointment in JUNE 2022 , nearly a year ago, and also a phone consult in OCTOBER 2022 and to date, my doctor has still not received any report. It is impossible to speak to anyone in the office as the phones are never answered and you are not allowed to leave more than 1 voicemail message ! I cannot understand how a neurology office simply does not send a report to the doctors, what is the point of seeing a patient when nothing is ever followed up. This is so frustrating.
BlakeHelen Forrest: Dr. Preet Chahal has been my neurologist for almost 5 yrs. and I’m so happy with his care. He doesn’t have clocks on the walls in the exam rooms. His philosophy is that only you have his complete attention when he is with you. He’s not looking at his watch, which he doesn’t wear, to check when the next patient is waiting. He really checks everything so he can make a correct diagnosis and if he is stumped, he admits it and will send you to another doctor for help. I believe that I’m privileged to have Dr. Chahal looking after me. HF
Sue Steffen: I went to Royal Columbia Hospital on December 23 2022 for an EMG on my right hand. Still, to date (today is Jan 25 2023 my doctor never received a report from this office. I never received a phone call either from Dr Chahal's office. I left a voice message last week that was never responded to and no one ever actually answers the phone. It goes to voice mail. My doctor advised me that they did not even know that I had even gone for the EMG at Royal Columbia. The hospital initiated the phone call to me to advise when my appointment was scheduled for. Not sure what kind of Mickey Mouse operation this is, but I am not impressed.Get it together Dr Chalal - both of you! Seriously this is unacceptable.
M S: Strongly recommend getting referred to a different clinic.
Darryn Dauth: Reading previous reviews, I came into the clinic with low expectations. I was wrong. Dr. Preet and all the staff were friendly, courteous and most importantly... Professional. This was the best visit to a doctor, dealing with very tough conditions... And they did so amazingly. I highly recommend these doctors and would vouch for them any time of day.Thank you all!
reese marshall: My girlfriend has been waiting months for the doctor to fill out paperwork and when he finally did it was contrary to everything he promised to take care of. We are both extremely frustrated with the complete and utter lack of care. Watching someone you love go through pain every day and then have doctors ignore their needs is a complete failure of care. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
Gurnoor Singh Kang: My brother’s been a patient with Dr. C. Preet Chahal. He’s an absolutely amazing doctor. In addition, I’ve never met some so humble and kind in my entire life. Speaking of his expertise, he knows exactly what he’s doing and also gets to the root of the situation. Our family is blessed that we had him as our doctor.
Hasina Obaidi: I have been a patient of Dr.Chahal for almost 9 years now, and I will continue to see him. He is a wonderful specialist, knows what he is doing and takes his time to really try and understand the root of the problem.
The304krew: This office is horrible. Had a nerve conduction study months ago and my surgeon was upset with the lack of information added to the report and had to send me to a different clinic for new tests.
Angela Banting: Dr. Chahal didn't even show up to my appointment. So I lost a whole day of pay from taking the day off for nothing. Horrible experience. Can't even get a hold of anyone in the office. Absolutely terrible. Would recommend you try to see a different neurologist who will show you some respect.
Monika Madani: I went to the emergency on the advice of my GP who though I was havigna TIA. Transient Ischemic Stroke. I could not see out of my left eye and suffered from a massive headache. Having arrive at Royal Columbian Hospital, I was referred to the Stroke Clinic and and Dr. Horton who called me the next day. I found him irritable and impatient but still took a history and ordered a brain scan. Yet, even though the brain scan showed multiple lesions, his office gave me an appointment for three months later and a medication that not only did not cure my headaches. I left a message with his MOA that the medication was not working but he did not bother to call back or make any adjustments. Not only that, I did not sleep for three weeks straight not realizing that was the insane side effect of the medication i was given. Multiple messages were left for Dr. Horton via his MOA. She called back to say; just take your med and he will speak to you at the time of your appointment. Yes, the med that was not working. Finally the day comes and without asking me how I was doing or going through the results of the scan; he starts to tell me that he is upping the dose of the medication. The very medication that was not working. When I interrupted to tell him about it. His response was.." LET ME FINISH". Can you imagine? having been in pain for months. Having hardly slept for months; having waited to speak to your specialist not even getting a chance to speak...Then he accused me of not getting a word in edgwise. He said having lesions in the brain is normal; one every 10 years. and Well I am not 150 years old. when asked him to investigate my headaches. He said there is no point. Well, Dr. Horton, You do not qualify to make that call. I do not want my head anywhere near you. I find Dr. Horton Unprofessional, unkind, unempathetic, obnoxious and I don't trust any part of my body anywhere near him. He did not even bother to examin me once! Good ridden! Thank God there is just as many great and ethical Doctors in this town!
Camilla Dietrich: We had a phone appointment with Dr. Horton on Sept 24 at 9AM. He didn't call, and his office didn't answer the phone. I left a voice mail which wasn't returned. Today (Oct. 1), we came home to find a voicemail from Dr. Horton, who had phoned today instead. We weren't expecting a call today. He said in his message that we can arrange another appointment by phone, but we can still not reach anyone at his office. It's so disappointing, because pre-COVID we saw Dr. Horton several times and he was very sympathetic and informative. When my husband needed his prescription renewed the last time, the pharmacist finally reached someone by phone, but said they were very rude to her and that Dr. Horton was unavailable. I don't know how to solve this situation. :-(
G C: Not a very good experience. He is a great listener but that's all about it. Looked little rude to me and felt like i shouldn't have been there or wasting his precious 8 to 10 minutes when in fact it took me 2 to 3 hours to go to his office and same time coming back home. Going through a lot of issues but didn't find him very helpful or concerned or show any passion or any kind of hope for me to get better. If doctors are like that these days then where would you go for help.
Andrea Verhoef: Dr. Horton is an excellent neurologist and I’d highly recommend him and his office. I feel very grateful to have been referred to him.
Eric Stephan: Warning no parking her . You must have a meager crated card or your car we'll be towed. No credit card your not welcome here. Stay out .Rude people .
Nikky Clarke: Dr. Horton was terrific. He listened, asked great questions, did a thorough exam and was full of recommendations and ideas that might help.
Jade Mitchell: Dr Chahal is kind, considerate and takes the time to listen. I feel very fortunate to have him as a doctor.
John Roy: Dr Chahal is the best. When I was in emergency for a concussion he took charge and talked to me openly and precisely. His office called and set up a follow up appointment when I was recovering.

Mary Ellen Thio: He thought carefully about my problem. He was the first to give me a reasonable explanation for its cause and he offered a reasonable solution. A thoughtful conversation in one visit gave me peace of mind and changed my world.
Harminder Parmar: The best doctor in town.
Nancy Smith: In 2006 Dr Matishak gave me a chance to retire, after brain surgery. So kind and competent. Glad to see he’s still practicing.
Joy Dockrey: I had a teleconference appointment and he was so warm friendly understanding and easy to understand. I haven’t even met him in person and I already adore him. Other neurosurgeons have had completely different bedside manners(which I also understand and didn’t take personally but this man is different - it’s so nice!).
Marianne Sweet: He is the best, as I write this today, I have had many new medical emergencies, but 11 years ago he saved my life , gave me insight to what my brain really does, and he kept it working lol, to this day, he is best doctor I have ever had
Tim Dovey: My dad had 16 years of cronic back pain. Dr. Mark Matishak saved his life. After two disc replacement surgeries he preformed on my dad's spine, my dad is a new man and has his life back. Best surgeon out there
Alejandra Betancourt: This man saved my life when I came in with a bleeding tumor the size of an orange, under the emergency surgery I had to have Dr. Matishak was super kind and left me feeling very confident and capable of continuing with my life, now that I face more than likely another surgery I am aftaid of having anyone else touch my brain and will wait until he's back from holidays before making a decision Dr Mark Matishak is my hero and my angel .
Adrian Alblas: Mark is an excellent man and a pleasure to deal with. Great office staff as well.
Glenn Rodgerson: Absolutely Fantastic! He saved my life and kept my brains functioning well. He also is a great Doctor to talk to about all things affecting a person such as myself after such a massive surgery. If not for him, my kids would be fatherless now. Amazing abilities!
