Amin Aghaee: If you want to have a top notch Italian Pasta experience, this is the place for you. I tried Penne Michelangelo and loved it.
David Gallegos: Great place to get our pre-race pasta (we were running the Vancouver Half Marathon the following day). They were responsive and friendly when I was making the reservations, and dinner was also handled well. Although they were very busy that night, service was attentive and food was consistently delicious.
Seyyed Ali Ghasemizadeh: I got a Take Out order of Spaghetti Ragu and Marinated Olive as a side dish, and let me tell you that it was not only freaking delicious, but also the size and amount of the dish was enormous..I am a pig, and I can eat non-stop. However, I couldn't finish all of it in one sitting.. it was too much .. and it was delicious. You get way more than expected for a reasonable price.Strongly recommend 👌Thank you, Zeff!!👍🤟
Pooneh Ashja: My experience at Zaferelli’s was mixed.While the mussels we ordered as a starter were delicious, the dish I ordered (Tortellini Gorgonzola) was extremely salty and had to be sent back.Unfortunately, getting the attention of our server was a challenge due to the restaurant being super busy. By the time I wanted to order something else, my partner had almost finished his meal, so I decided not to order another food.I also ordered Whiskey Sour which was not bad.Overall, while we enjoyed the mussels and the drinks, we were not impressed by the service and food.
Chris Aiena: The sign outside advertising 'Spaghetti Joint" was amusing and curious. The reviews sounded promising so we decided to be adventurous and made reservations. So glad that we did. Ambiance is romantic and non pretentious. Food is fresh and delicious. Waitstaff warm, knowledgeable and friendly. Best Italian food that we have had in a very long time.

Natania Huckabay: Zeffirelli’s is one of the best, most tasty restaurants I’ve been to. They have quick service, delicious complementary bread, & big portions. However, this sounds nit-picky but totally throws me off each time I’ve been in— the music they play is terrible! Feels like I’m in a cheap dance club, not an antique, 4-star authentic italian restaurant in the heart of the city. Nice dinner jazz or even just regular instrumental music would up my review to 5 stars.

Lovely atmosphere …. And they made a food accommodation for our ‘hard to please’ 11 year olds and it was a big hit too! Akash Lal: The food will always be excellent. However, there's this one hostess or waitress who has the worst attitude. "Kay mmhm yup" no hello or anything. Our actual waitress was an angel and so amazing. Aside from that, you can't go wrong coming here to eat. Tables may be a little small, but wow the food is to die for. If you're in van, I'd recommend coming here at least once

So smooth, full flavoured and melt in your mouth goodness.I am not one to order pasta at a restaurant as they can tend to be rather basic but Ask For Luigi is anything but basic. Excellent selection for a small menu. Cozy homey feel inside. A small space with as many seat as possible and for good reason. I’d rather be in a tightly packed restaurant then waiting hours for a seat. It was well worth it. The service was knowledgeable and friendly. Food and drinks came out as ordered and promptly.Look forward to returning, however, it was expensive so that may be a while.
Florence Wong: This is a cozy Italian restaurant near Gastown. It has recently been recommended by the Michelin Dining Guide.We were here during the week for dinner and it was already packed. Given the footprint the seating is quite tight. However if you enjoy sharing your experience with fellow patrons the setting is great.We ordered couple appies, a bottle of wine and an entrée pasta for each one of us. The selection was good and they had 3 feature items that night, including a vegetarian option. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu items and beverage list.We especially enjoyed the mussels with focaccia bread. The bread and the sauce was sooo good we ordered an extra side of bread to just finish the dish.I had the feature braised elk with wide noodle. The meat was tender and flavorful. The noodles were el dante and I enjoyed them very much. However the braised elk was on the salty side and I couldn't finish my dish.One of our friends ordered the squid ink pasta with seafood. Their noodles were not cooked through the first time so the restaurant was very accommodating and had remade them for us.All in all it was good experience but I do recommend less salt on the food.

I miss the bolognese sauce from before, the olive cake has a different flavor, the quality of mascarpone, even the soap in the bathroom was a pleasant surprise but now it's just a normal soap, without any charm. I'm disappointed because this was my dream place for dates and celebrations. Not so much, now.

This dish is a must - Normally, I don't care for meatballs because I've had some with an odd flavor in the past. However, the meatballs at Glowbal (either Italian Kitchen or Trattoria) are an exception - they taste great! It's the only place I'll go for meatballs.

Paola Dantonio: Food was ok and service was AWFUL. Just the worst service I've ever experienced in my life. This male waiter had such an impatient and condescending attitude. The entire time felt like we were an inconvenience to him and he was trying to rush us out. Throughout the whole dinner he came in asking "may I" but not actually asking for permission rather warning that he was doing something (e.g. taking the napkin in front of us and throwing it on our laps - we didn't even have food or ordered at tha point). He brought the check without asking if we wanted it divided, and when asked to divide, he divided it wrong. It was an awful experience from beginning to end.
Raj Chana: Food was mediocre. Nothing special. I booked this restaurant specifically for the outdoor area with greenery that came up in their online photos; but when asked if we could have our dinner there, we were told that was only booked for special events. The area was empty the entire night we had our dinner. I did request an outdoor seating, but was not give the option to specify we wanted to be seated in the greenery area. Also, WAAAAAAAY too much street traffic. The restaurant can easily set up our door speakers with music, but for some reason, haven't done so.
Ian Cheng: I will start off by saying that I had the worst experience eating at Italian Kitchen out of all the restaurants in the Glowbal Restaurant Group in Vancouver.Service:The waitress that was helping us is not very professional. I am not sure if she is new to the restaurant, but I certainly feel like she could use some additional training. I appreciate her efforts in trying to help us, but the experience was not pleasant.One of my friends is allergic to shellfish, and we emphasized that three times while ordering. After 30 minutes, one of the managers came to confirm with us again. It turns out the waitress had noted the allergy on the wrong person, and the manager was confused about why a person with a shellfish allergy would order an entree with King Crab.When our entrees arrived, one of my friend's orders was missed. He had ordered a salmon entree, but he received a side of broccolini instead. My friend said he even pointed on the menu to show the waitress what he wanted when he was ordering.Food:We waited for at least 45 minutes for our entrees to come, and they definitely did not live up to our expectations. My chicken milanese had two pieces of chicken, one of which was very dry, and the other was very juicy and delicious. I'm not sure how that happened.Two of my friends ordered halibut, and they said it was probably the driest and most overcooked halibut they had ever eaten.Maybe we just did not order the food they are famous for...Conclusion:We came to eat at this restaurant because of its reputation and online reviews, but I am not sure I can say the same about the restaurant. The service, wait, and food just did not live up to our standards, and it was a poor experience for us. As a fine dining restaurant in Vancouver DT, Italian Kitchen still has a lot of room for improvement.However, we appreciated how the manager came to us at the end of the night, apologized on behalf of his staff, and bought us dessert. I hope to hear good things about Italian Kitchen that will bring me back to them in the future.

The meals here are great value where you get bread, an appetizer, entree, ice cream and tea or coffee for one low price! I don't think there's anywhere else where you get such great value! Le petit Prince: We walked in today as a family. The place is amazing with an old street car (Tram, as we Melburnians say) in the main dining area. Being from Melbourne (with a sizeable Italian population and great Italian food) and having travelled to Italy (particularly the south of Italy) a few times, we believe we *know* our Italian food well: we (I have my wife's permission to say this!) thought that the food was amazing! It was authentic and the service was swift and efficient. Moreover, it was excellently priced. Don't be carried away by the thought that the price you pay for the food will beget a smaller portion - the portions are more than enough for a hungry traveller after you have spent the day travelling up and down Vancouver! In fact, our child and I did not even accept the dessert (included in the price) - we were so full. The wine menu was adequate without being out of the world with only one red wine from Canada - this needs to change - you guys are short changing yourself.

Danyyil Babenko: Great food at affordable prices for Gastown. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. My wife has food allergies, and they took great care to ensure there was no cross-contamination. Readily made substitutes for main course and desert. The bartenders also figured out how to make an iconic Old Spaghetti Factory drink "The Conductor" that was no longer on the menu. Overall 10/10 experience.

Perso j ai goute les taglirioni et quel mets divin. Juste épicé comme il faut, servi en quantité plus que raisonnable et surtout cuisiné avec un savoir faire impressionnant. Ce restaurant mérite un arret plaisir et juste un petit compliment à notre hôte francaise Chloé qui alliait charme, sourire et professionalisme. Jamie Liu: Pasta here was pretty good. I ordered the fettuccine and I was surprised with how big the portion was. We also ordered the taglierini which was also quite substantial and tasty. The desserts were great, the almond cake wasn't too sweet and had a lightness to it. The creme brulee was smooth and the bitterness of the hardened sugar on top complimented well with the sweetness of the custard. Service was decent, and the fact that the restaurant is in a heritage house, definitely makes for an interesting experience. A little bit on the pricey side, but a good place to go for a special occasion.

We ordered the fettuccini and wild mushroom tagliarini; both were quite tasty. Our food came quickly and the staff was friendly / checked in on us lots. It is a more pricy location to eat so I am not sure if I’d go back, but it was delicious.

And she fully understands that I'm a walk-in guest without any seat booking. I don't know if is this their way of giving regular customer service to people, but after I refused four times to leave any personal information to her, and still got asked to give it out. I decided to leave and find somewhere else to have my dinner. I'm just here to have food not attending a class at the college. What kind of restaurant force people to leave their personal information even before they get in? Also, the way she is asking is not polite at all. In the end, If this restaurant needs a dress code to get in then great, because I just got off from work and I'm wearing full suits and ties at that moment.
