Britney J: I understand you need to confirm who I am but asking me all my personal details in front of everyone loudly is a breach of privacy. Your staff need a lesson in discretion and the privacy act laws of Canada. There must be alternatives to life labs for testing.
Ray Louie: Waited 15 mins for someone to show up at the counter to pick up a test kit. Then was asked if I wanted to wait another 15mins for them to get it ready. Don’t come to this location if you have a life!
Doug: LIFELAB PAID GOOGLE TO HIDE MY REVIEWIn April Short stocky, short hair bolding FILIPINO woman is rudest ever to customers and to an elderly lady - she screamed at her abruptly, true she didn’t have an appointment but she would not help her. And we had appointments and we still had to do the LINE-UP REGARDLESS. Soooo why not help the 80 yr old sick lady. She yelled and told her IN LOUD RUDE TONE if YOU DECIDE TO WAIT I DONT KNOW HOW LONG MAYBE 3, 4 hours wait.We all had to wait regardless, my appointment was an hour past. This woman was so rude checking me in. She talks like a horrible guard dog. Also how do you always fall behind 3 hours? And what’s the point of scheduling an appointment if you treat us first come, first checked in?? Disgusted by woman’s service to customers, never seen this before to an elderly.Today I delt with an another Filipino woman, friend of the rude bold Filipino woman and was also very rude. Is Lifelab upper management filipino???, yikes worst service ever seen in Canada.
Fraser Lester-Mallinson: The monopoly of LifeLabs has you wondering what decade we’re living in. I bumped into multiple people today trying to drop off samples only to see a poster on the door saying closed Easter Monday. Fair enough but when everyone I spoke to says they checked the website, like myself, before wasting sample equipment and time, it tells you it’s open until 5. Absolutely useless

Jennifer Du: I do not recommend this LifeLabs - it's dirty and unclean with visible hair, encrustations and dust build-up in the phlebotomy booth. Please look elsewhere if you care about your health and want to maintain basic health hygiene.I booked an appointment for blood work at LifeLabs recently. I was checked in and seen by a phlebotomist within 10 minutes of my appointment, which is the only reasonable aspect of my visit.I am giving this LifeLabs location 1/5 stars because of their lack of public health sanitization standards and hygiene within the clinic spaces. I was sent to booth 5, and once I arrived there, I was immediately put off by the visible dirt, hair and encrustations on the armrests, seat cushion, and seat rails. I expect a facility that supports necessary health care services to maintain public health standards in sanitization within the spaces where venipuncture or any invasive procedure is completed. While everyone was masked, and distancing was possible - there was a lack of disinfectant wipes within the clinical area (I looked for one to clean my seat), a lack of systematic sanitization between clients, and a lack of process or expectation that the staff would maintain the spaces they work in. In addition, the phlebotomist did not sanitize their hands or alcohol swab my skin before venipuncture. As someone who works in health care, and continues to do so throughout the pandemic, I was disappointed in this site's complete lack of process for maintaining essential cleanliness, especially during this time of COVID.I will not be returning to this site for service, and I don't recommend anyone to attend this site unless all other options are exhausted. The risk for infection is high with the apparent lack of adherence to public health standards.

Grant Bland: Extremely rude receptionist. How do you allow staff to treat members of the public as if they are dirt. Highly offensive, clearly whoever is the manager of this location does not care as repeated poor reviews lead to no action. Going to escalate this.
Nina Sound: If only I had a second chance, never gonna go back to this lifelabs again.Front desk can’t be more rude and impatient. And the person who took my blood said it’s my fault to not sit properly without my backpack on the chair. Yeah that’s cuz it had never been an issue for my past 30 years.Also you should be aware of your training student not being able to find the right spot first.
Shay: I have hard to tap veins and often have horrible experience getting blood taken once they stabbed me 7x, at a different lab and still couldn't get it done. We are talking vomiting and passing out ensues anytime I go for blood work. I explained this to the young tech, who was very kind, she took a moment to try to find a vein, she struggled so she asked one of the senior techs to help her. That tech was in and out in 2 mins got it done in one go. Sure not all the staff there is friendly but I assume it's because they deal with a lot of stupid rude people daily.
Fabricio Mendieta: Extremely disrespectful staff. I don’t know her name, but she has a tattoo on the inside of her left arm. She didn’t seem to know about the kind of test that I needed, and refused to help in a respectful manner, to the point of yelling out “Next!” while I was still talking to her. I witnessed her being very disrespectful and condescending to other patients too. I would urge Life Labs to offer her some training in customer service so as to not word the Life Labs brand further.

Lucy Binfield: This place is conveniently located next to transit and they can do most of the basic stuff you might need. The problem is that they overbook all their appointments so if you go in the afternoon you have a very high chance of waiting 40+ minutes after your appointment time to get seen. This is so annoying. If you turn up in the early morning they usually havent had enough time to build up a long wait. You have to book an appointment online.

It's been 3 and a half years since I've updated my gender marker, I shouldn't have to point it out EVERY time I go that I'm not female. I don't see how this is even legal.Also, no toilet paper in the bathrooms you collect samples in? Gross, not a good look.
Kelsey Z: Don’t walk in, many people try to and it’s not going to work. Only had to wait 20 min to draw blood with my scheduled apt. The nurse was very nice and helpful but I will say it’s super dirty, all items that should be stored in a closed uncontaminated spot are left open I.e cotton balls that they use after blood draw and sanitizing solution for pre draw - all open and on dirty surfaces. Next time I will likely travel further to find a cleaner option.
Scott Thompson: Don't bother, they are not capable of anything here. Definetly go to another location any chance you get. Technicians are fine, front desk can only be described as useless, disgusting people. They would prefer you came in dead here. Zero respect for people's time or health.

HX Tan: always had good experiences at this Lifelab location when I did blood test. I went to do blood test again yesterday and staff was friendly and efficient. Special thanks to Susanna who was very patient and professional in proving the service.

Wenoa Teves: PRO: Still took me as a walk-in when I was 30 minutes late for my appointment on a Friday afternoon.CON: No way to get a hold of the clinic when I was running late 20 minutes prior (phone goes straight to voicemail), rude and unhelpful receptionist(s), dirty waiting area. The screen displaying the estimated wait time is covered with receipts and tape (see photo attached) and there weren’t nearly enough seats for the number of people in the waiting area. At the time of the review I’ve been waiting an hour.I’d highly recommend other LifeLabs location before this one — there’s a lot of room for improvement. More staff on site might be a good start.

Direne F.: So far, I have a very positive experience with Olive Fertility Clinic. Specially with Dr. Hitkari’s Patient Coordinator, Julija. She is very responsive and very helpful. She actually helped me booked my HSG at UBC when I told her I couldn’t get any available slots at other hospitals I have been calling. I really I appreciate it immensely that she took time to look and call for other hospitals to get a spot. Thank you.

Hilary Wu: Did 3 IUI there 2 years ago. Every time it was done by a different nurse. The first time it was uncomfortable but okay. The second time it was painful. And the third time that nurse was super caring and light handed and I didn’t feel any discomfort at all. I would not recommend doing IUI at Olive because the 3 IUI were all unsuccessful and 2 times out of 3 times I had bad experience. Not to mention, the doctors were always (more than 30min) late when we had video chat appointments. I also inquired about IVF and they do not offer general anesthesia for the egg retrieval procedure. Based on my experience with the nurses, I can say I am almost certain I will suffer so much if I don’t have general anesthesia so I decided not to do an IVF at Olive Fertility.
Emmanuelle Dupuis Bolduc: Olive was amazing. The whole experience went smoothly. From reception, accounting department, pharmacy staff, nurses and the doctors. I have nothing bad to say. They make you feel welcomed, important and valued. By far one the best experience!
Qudratullah Sahak: The staff and doctors are extremely incompetent. I had an appointment at 10 o'clock. They were not ready to see the patient at 11 o'clock either. The front desk employee is always busy on his cell phone.
Julia Bousfield: The office is inviting, comfortable, and clean. Dr Taylor was so kind and answered any questions I had. Would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone!!
AND: I was unsuccessful in getting pregnant with Olive after three tested embryo transfers and no glaring medical conditions as to why I couldn’t get pregnant on my own. I started the journey so hopeful, and walked away heartbroken and confused as to why it didn’t work. I was told nothing but positive things the whole time, but I wish they were a bit more realistic. After getting the incredibly devastating news each time I had a failed transfer, I was surprised that they had no advice on how to cope. I asked if there were any resources and was told they don’t know of any. It also took a couple weeks to speak to my doctor after receiving the news of a failed transfer. The doctor had no explanation except that I was one of the unlucky ones. The staff are all very nice, but I felt like a number throughout the whole process. The clinic is always super busy and felt very impersonal. It’s been 6 months since my last failed transfer, spent $40,000 for nothing except sadness.
JenNDaHaus: Let me be clear, Olive Fertility uses the best practices to deliver excellent results. It's not like all the other healthcare facilities in Canada, which just launder taxpayer dollars to push the 'Woke' agenda for the Trudeau government. They are all for filling their pockets with YOUR money but Olive is different. These guys are all about patient-centered care... NOT profit and control. Thank you, Dr. Taylor and Dr. Hitkari, you are definitely NOT 'lizard people' and it was a pleasure meeting you!

Olga Valchenko: Everything was perfect! The doctor is 100% professional, particularly considerate, patient. HyCoSy had scared me a lot, but I didn't feel a thing! The staff is very polite and helpful. It was definitely worth the money.
Alexis Povelofskie: I sincerely cannot say enough about the incredible care I’ve received at Olive. From the beginning of our journey in 2020 to have our first to our complicated journey in 2022/2023 to have our second, the compassion and kindness has been so heartwarming. My doctor at the clinic, Dr. Nakhuda, is thorough, thoughtful, kind and gentle while also being honest and clear about what to expect. In fact, every single doctor and nurse I’ve dealt with in my time at Olive has gone above and beyond and made me feel cared for at every turn. I am so thankful to Olive for the ways they’ve added to my life.
Helen Whitworth: Successful ivf experience with Olive, had my son with my first embryo transfer. Sadly miscarriage for number 2 but nurses have been in touch everyday to keep me informed. Doctor Tallon very clear and knowledgeable.
Tatsiana: Everything is beyond my expectations so far. Every team member in Olive doctors, nurses, pharmacists, accounting, lab are kind, professional and compassionate. They understand what you’re going through and support you each step of the way. I did have a couple of minor issues with treatment instructions I’d been given but I decided to mention them here just to let other people know that if something comes up Olive team members resolve any issues very quickly and professionally. All my calls and questions are always answered and never ignored. I was called at least 4 times if not more after a medical procedure! I never got so much attention and care from medical staff ever in my life. Thank you Olive Team for doing such an amazing job!!

This clinic, after few emails and online consultation, made appointment for Sono; i went there and totally got hopeless! Such a non sense way of speaking to patients!they didnt even stay to describe the reason of their hopeless speeches! My number is 1.9 which if u ask any pro dr, they will say its normal! But this clinic, they made me completely hopeless and disappointed! Lack of communication and lack of empathy!so sorry for this huge clinic with too many rewards!

Christine L.: Business feels like a cash grab, especially the challenge, not worth it, I have been to better gyms. Sales Sam will push you hard to buy.. don't fall for it if you don't like it, cause it's not possible to get refunds.The Trainers are nice though. I wasn't satisfied with my experience, definitely overpriced for what you get. I calculated it costs more per month than Equinox does, the facilities are not the same, equipment is quite old.
Cheryl Giesbrecht: Doing the 6 week fitness challenge was a Game Changer for me! I had never worked out with a trainer before, and now see the immense value - with someone guiding me, I was able to push myself beyond what I would have done alone, and gained strength at a surprising rate! I used to struggle with my back and energy levels taking care of my 4 year old, but now I feel strong and capable. The folks at Kalev are passionate professionals and they care about their clients! The space is clean, the changerooms are great, and it's a good environment. Samer is so enthusiastic and encouraging, and Aloechen has a gift for training - he is present, non-judgmental, quick with a laugh, and really knows his stuff!
Sou O apocalipse Maninho: Having been referred here by a friend, I can say coming here has been one of the best decisions I've made for myself. The gym is small, very clean, and extremely well run.
Selena Truong: What stands out to me about this gym is that the staff are so personable. Right from the get-go Samer's genuine energy drew me in. He made me laugh and feel like I had a good friend to lean on for support whenever I needed during the 6-week challenge! Before the challenge I was never motivated to work out alone, but the community that Alochen fosters in his group lifting classes has made working out super fun for me! He's always smiling and gives great technical advice while knowing what to say to bring out your competitive edge against yourself. I owe so much of my progress to the support of these two and they are the reason I will be continuing with the gym after the challenge! Two other trainers that I had a short but great experience with are Brennan and Levi and I look forward to working with them more going forward!
نسیم حسینی: I was on a 6week challenge in Kalev. I got a very heavy diet and in the midtime checking session I reached 3.2 percentage fat decrease goal. I decreased 7 pounds in 3 weeks. But after that the process of decreasing fat was so much harder in the second half of my period and I could not achieve my goal and lost the $520 deposit.What I am trying to emphacise is that the goal is practically unachievable. Especially the 6 percent fat decrease. Because it means that you must decrease more than 12 pounds in 6 weeks! Which is somehow impossible.But during the period I achieved my goal( not their goal!) and I lost 5 kilograms and I also used 6 personal training sessions and two TBS classes they offered.The only thing is that when you start the challenge, just forget about your $500 deposit! It is so much probable to lose it!.
Kaleena Ipema: Kalev Fitness Solution has changed my relationship not only with fitness, but has had a tremendous impact on shaping my attitude about nutrition and overall lifestyle. Even though my challenge is over (and I beat it!), I know I'll be continuing on using everything I've learned here in my day to day life.My goal was to lose 4% body fat in 4 weeks, and today at my last weigh-in I had lost a grand total of 6.7%. I believe I was able to achieve these results by coming in to as many group classes I could, doing a variety of HIIT and circuit-style workouts as well as participating in the Group Lift classes. I learned so much about fitness and nutrition, and I know that I wouldn't have been able to reach my goal without the support not only of the staff, but also of the other participants that I met in the classes.Thank you so much to everyone at Kalev—to Samer for reaching out directly to me when I first filled out a submission form online to participate in the challenge, to Alochen for helping me work on my pull-up game and teaching me how to lift, and to Isabel for checking in on my during my 4 weeks here.
Tina Tran: I've never joined a gym before but decided to join KFS a couple months ago for personal training. Takes me a long while to grow accustomed to new people and places. Brennan is my PT and he has been fantastic! I was worried I would get matched with someone pushy but I'm so grateful to have found such a genuine person. He's so patient and has such a great sense of humour. He's very passionate about his work and, clearly, enjoys what he does which motivates me to come no matter what. I really don't think I could've found a better PT. I never thought I'd ever look forward to going to the gym but Brennan has made it so easy and enjoyable!

Linda Tran: My sister and I joined KFS for pairs personal training in kickboxing. The facility is well kept and offers many different options to stay fit.Our trainer, Brennan, is awesome! We are beginners and by all means, no where close to being a fighter. He is patient when showing us moves and he is so humble and kind. He responds quick to our text messages in the event we had to reschedule and he always tries his best to accommodate our schedule. If you are looking to give kickboxing a try, Brennan is your guy!!!

Island Time: Stay away! Poor ownership and management.I honestly feel bad reviewing because the experience I had with some of the staff was great. Brennan is a class act, and was an amazing instructor for kickboxing. Keep it up man! And Rian led some great cardio classes and was also amazing to work with.My complaints are against their “4-week challenge”. They have you pay $299 + tax upfront to get either unlimited group classes or PT sessions (not both). $299/mon is actually more expensive than if you paid for a normal $44/week for their classes (not a free trial as they advertise). You also have to commit to losing 4% body fat in 4 weeks. (As measure by their scale). I put in some serious work in exercise and diet and fell slightly short of the 4% so wasn’t able to get credit back. I also heard it’s nearly impossible to see significant results from those scales in such a short amount of time. They also only let you apply credit to a 6 month+ membership and as I travel for work I couldn’t commit to this. I joined this gym as I was advertised a free trial. Unfortunately, it was a bait and switch, as I’m still getting ads for this limited availability boot camp, which never was free. Honestly I’d be open to a regular membership at this gym if it wasn’t all about the shady sales tactics, bait and switch free trials, and reluctance to sign up without commiting the whole year.Please do yourself a favour and don’t be tempted, go somewhere else. And for Kalev, I hope you change your business model, as you’ve got a good team there working for you.
Anael Anael: I trained at this gym a few months ago, while the program was fresh.I won the challenge and followed the rulesAnd the money was not returned to me as promised.This place is one big scam!!I waited and waited and nothing happened.Every time I called I was told they would call me back, which never happened.And try to close it by giving credit while there are plenty of better and cheaper fitness gyms in the city.I regret that I was there, not worth the investment and the money liars!!
Richard Boulier: Contacted this company for ICBC active rehab therapy for my partner, Juan which they advertise on their website. Made an appointment for consultation and they completely ignored the request for ICBC rehab therapy and tried to sell him personal trainer sessions. When we asked, the rep said they don't do ICBC. But it's advertised on their website... Contacted Kalev directly and no response. And to make it even more infuriating, Kalev Fitness would not respond to our messages but still sent us messages trying to sell personal training sessions. Very unprofessional company.

Mohammadhossein Miri: Amazing amazing 4 week challenge! I would have not waken up at 6 am to hit the gym at 7 but because of group classes and the motivation behind it I made it. It was a great start towards working out. So a great thanks to the whole team specially Samer for being so flexible and helpful from the get go all the way to the end. Samer does not give you a no for an answer anything is possible.
Jae Cha: Joining Kalev Fitness solution was the best decision I have made for my health in a very long time. The four week challenge was awesome. Deo Pabalan Boldo III: Kalev Fitness's 6 weeks challenge was the perfect motivation for me to lose my COVID-19 fats! I was a bit desperate to lose weight since I kept gaining pounds no matter how much I exercise, even if I'm doing Crossfit before. The way they structure their program was superb! Not only will they provide you with all the information you need, such as proper meal plans and customized workouts, but you will also meet excellent coaches and staff that will motivate you throughout the challenge. I would highly recommend my assigned Personal Trainer, Martin Weintritt. He really kept me moving forward with my challenge. He goes beyond what a regular PT does. He taught me how to do the right way of buying groceries (One of my main problems before, lol). He will reply to any of your enquiries and concerns with a positive and friendly attitude. Most importantly, he pushed me to be a better version of myself.If you're tired of exercising every day and not hitting your goals, I would highly suggest you try Kalev Fitness Solution. You would definitely feel welcomed and will not have any awkward feeling when you're working out. 11pro hisham: Not worth it ! Challenge is all about getting your money and false way to keep you at the gym. My friends did everything as required and they played with the weighin numbers and didn’t get the money back. Be careful people!

I have chronic anxiety and find it challenging to fully feel relaxed among strangers but Kristie not only made me feel welcome and relaxed during our first few minutes, but allowed me to recognize where I hold my tension during the massage. She is very skilled but soothing at massage; I like that combination.I finally was able to let go of all this tension I have held for probably years. It makes me teary eyed! Thanks Kristie for your help. I will sure to come back. Bless you.Ps Kristie worked the allotted time I booked. It was never rushed. It is standard to arrive early to fill out paperwork at all clinics. Responsible, ethical people do not show up 15 minutes late and expect the therapist to run over. How would that be fair to the next client? Also it states that I am solely responsible for booking the massage so if I don't receive an email ( which has never happened) that is a poor excuse for arriving late or missing an appointment. Book the appointment, remind yourself in your calendar of your selected appointment, and stop blaming others for your irresponsibility.
Jane Bradwell: I had an excellent message today from Sydney at Elements Wellness. The centre is pleasantly inviting with simple and serene decor. Sydney is soft spoken and unassuming but professional and very skilled at her craft. She was caring, thorough and always sensitive to my comfort, adjusting the level of pressure used as she effectively worked out the tightness and sore spots, some I didn't even know I had. I left feeling soothed, relaxed and refreshed. I look forward to my next visit.

Norma Stump: I purchased a package for infra red sauna. I only used maybe 2 sessions. Everytime I go there they are closed or door is locked. It says call them but when you call no one ever picks up or calls you back. I so regret wasting money on this place. I want my money back & will continue to call until I get it ! Rachel Beatty: When I moved to Vancouver in 2010, I used google to help me find my new health care practitioners and "Best acupuncturist in Vancouver" led me to Kelli Taylor at Elements Wellness Centre! Seven years later and she's still my acupuncturist. I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone interested in trying acupuncture, in fact, I'm pretty sure she's worked on my entire family--including my 2 year old niece!
Andrew Roth: Beware!! I booked an appointment, had a massage, and was satisfied with the skill level of the RMT. I booked a follow up appointment for the next week at 315pm. I got there at 3pm, only to be told I was an hour early, and that my appointment was at 4pm. They seemed quite positive, so to kill time I went for sushi. I came back just before 4pm, and there was another person with my same name who was already in the room for his massage. I was told sorry, but there was nothing they could do for me that day. These people have no idea what they're doing, and I wasted my entire afternoon for nothing. Needless to say I will not be going back.
Graphic Society: We had an appointment there today at 5pm and we were there 15 min early as we were asked to. I went up stairs but there was nobody there, I called a few times and no answer. The clinic is on the 2nd floor so my dad was waiting down stairs as he can't walk up stairs. There's no elevator in front of the building. I discovered an elevator on the other side of the building but it's too far for patients to walk there. I don't understand how a wellness clinic is located on the second floor with no elevator in front. There was no parking available anywhere near. This was a very disappointing experience. Seek other places, don't bother.

They have all been exceptional in their treatments.I always leave there feeling great. The practitioners are very knowledgeable and professional. The support staff/front desk are welcoming, courteous and make it an easy process.
