Days Inn by Wyndham Vancouver Downtown: what do users think?
Berto s.: Location is convenient, walking distance from Canada Place and Waterfront station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was ok, it is an old building and the rooms were renovated. Despite not being on the same level of other hotels in terms of visual esthetics, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast starts at 7 AM and consisted of hard boiled eggs, yogurt, selection of pastries, cereal, milk, coffee, tea, etc. We were in town sightseeing a lot so we didn't spend much time in the hotel. WiFi can be spotty in the room.
Emma Hughes: Came to town for a concert, stayed here for one night, it was a great location close to skytrain and the concert venue. The wifi was fast, room was clean, air-conditioned, bathroom was clean with fresh towels and there was a coffee machine+coffee. It is an older building so it isn't fully soundproof, but for a quick 1 night stop over this did the job! Great value for downtown Vancouver too.Safety: Felt very safe in neighborhood, reception desk was staffed 24 hoursWalkability: Quick walk up from Waterfront Station
Lorraine Shelvey: Hotel is outdated a little, elevator very small, smells a little, but room was clean and service was very good, great location downtownRooms: It was small but clean no microwaveNearby activities: Close walking to Canada place and train stationNoteworthy details: Tim Hortons across the street
Richard Garrett: Try somewhere elseRooms: Big problemRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
James Morris: Older hotel perfectly positioned for Downtown/Canada Place access. Our room was great, but old windows allowed noise from the street. Maybe the rooms further away don't have that issue. All in all, great stay. Staff was amazing and meet our every need.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Parm Kaur: 🚨 🚨 never come if u forgot ur credit card by mistake Scammers Rude and so unprofessional usually I m trying to review good on every hotels restaurants because I really appreciate their hard work few things we can let go some time I book room for me and my baby 3 days earlier when I reach the both ladies said come after 3pm you can’t check in earlier I said alright when I go back after 3 hours wait she said we can’t accept any deposit without credit card I said I don’t have for now can u accept from debit or master card she said no we can’t you have to be your credit card with you now I said this is like very last moment m waiting for check in so long she said we can’t do anything you have to go from here I said like any alternate or something if I give you security more than 50$ or cash something if it’s work she said no we can’t they said no you have to go now we don’t have any alternate and this happen with me very 1st time and they don’t care you have a baby with you or you are alone worst worst worst hotel in my life and when I go Exchange hotel they accept my debit card as well and return my money on check out they just charge 10$ extra and way better then this worst hotel 🏨
Guillermo Arazo: A good place to stay for a vacation or business in Vancouver!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Mike Yee: Building is a little old, could hear noise from the street and traffic from 7th floor. Service is great. Shower couldn't drain fast enough. Very convenient if your a visitor 1 train ride will take you to airport in 30minsRooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Benjamin So: The location was perfect since it is near the train station going to and from the airport. The staffs Mary Joy and Samantha were really helpful and kind and they went over and beyond to give us information on getting around Vancouver. The hotel also gives out gym passes to the YWCA gym located 5 minutes away. The gym has a lap pool, racketball courts, weights and cardio equipments. Free buffet breakfast was available. They have a waffle machine that makes the best waffle I ever tasted. Bread, muffins, croissant, eggs, cereal, yogurt along with coffee and juice were in the menu however no meat was provided.Rooms: Rooms were decent, the heater/aircon kept us comfortable. Bathroom was clean and soap, shampoo, conditioner provided. No slippers were provided and no natural light coming from the window since our room was facing a wall. This made the room dark since lights were not enough.Nearby activities: It's a bus ride away to the Stanley park, Science center and other sites.Walkability: Located right in downtown Vancouver it's a walking distance to shops, restaurants, bus and Waterfront station. 5 minute walk to Gas town, a tourist spot where you see a steam powered clock that sounds every 15 minutes or so. Also a place to buy cheaper Vancouver souvenirs. There are several stores all over the street selling them.
Alejandro Mejia: The Hotel offered us what we expected, cleanliness and tranquility, we stayed for 6 nights and we were happy. Taking a bath was the most restorative part of the day, the pressure and temperature of the water incredible. I thank Richard who checked us in, he showed himself to be proactive and helped us solve a problem with our dryness in the App.
Brooklin Bushell: The location was good for the price, but the rooms are very dated and need an overhaul. The bathroom in our room was in pretty rough shape but the bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast that was included was really nice too. Overall I would stay here again.
Tracey Gold: So just booked into this place because it advertises a grab and go breakfast and airport shuttle and even though I asked for the shuttle when I made the booking, I’m told the first 2 shuttles are booked up. When I asked about the grab and go, I’m told that was just during COVID and I will be leaving before breakfast by taxi now because there is no shuttle. No shuttle, no breakfast, and no reward points. I’m surprised I got a room which is terrible…view of a wall! No effort to make my stay any better!!! Will never stay here again!
Abhishek Kagra: Amazing place with super amazing and polite staff members like Princess, Mary Ann and Harpreet. You guys are kind, welcoming and supportive. I appreciate your servicesRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Quiet, Great value …More
Viraj Joshi: Rooms: Not good. Extremely ill lit and feel like it was unmaintained.Would definitely not recommend unless on a budget because location is not bad.
Evelyn Stooksberry: Overall a reasonably priced stay. Rooms are small (perfect for 2 people), beds are comfortable. Hallways have an overwhelming smell of perfume. Almost to cover up an odour or something. Kinda of like to fumigate. If your asthmatic, dont recommend this hotel! Room smells odd; sorta of musky. Staff is very friendly. Only stayed two nights. Super close to everything.

Christopher Rodgers: I should have written this at the time but my experience was laughable and a total nightmare with almost all customer service agents I spoke with. This occurred during the week of February 20th, 2023 for reference. TLDR: no rooms available, lack of care, extremely long waiting times, poor communication and more.1) Policy at the time said you could enter your room at 4pm. However, at 4:15pm I was told still not available. At which point the staff promised me I would get a text message telling me when the room would be ready.2) At 5:20pm I returned because I hadn't received a text but wanted to get inside the room I paid for, they told me it still was not ready.3) One of the staff offered giving me a king size room with a balcony as a substitute which I thought was the appropriate thing to do. That only lasted a few seconds before she rug-pulled the idea and gave me room "605" which was a standard room that she said was available.4) She gives me the keys to the room which I go to and enter, only to walk in on two guests already occupying that room.5) Go back downstairs to let them know of the situation, no apologies at all and continued to find me other substitutes. The room with a king bed and balcony wasn't on the table anymore even after I asked about it.6) She offers me another room "818" and gives me the cards to that room. I am hopeful this time it will surely work right? It doesn't. The cards she gave me were invalid.7) I decide to go to another staff member since it is now after 6pm and still without a room and the previous two service agents were no help.8) I briefed a woman who appeared to be the shift manager on the situation. Again, 2 hours after I was supposed to check-in, she did not apologize or offer anything for my inconvenience. She gave me two more new key cards saying that they would work this time.9) At last, I am finally in a "room", with appliances that did not work. However, I could care less to complain, all I wanted was sleep after a 6-hour flight and 3-hour wait in the lobby of this hotel.10) Sleep, was not what I got. Instead, next door partied from 12am to 5 am.11) In the morning, I went to the next shift manager, told her my situation. Finally, someone had some compassion and general customer service experience. She promised me that room with a king size bed and balcony. I was so excited.12) My room turned out okay this time. It was room 1201, it was quiet and peaceful. However, I had asked if I could get items delivered to the hotel. I was in need of some mandatory items from Amazon for the school meetings I had in the following days. She said it was no problem at all. They deal with deliveries all the time.13) My one day shipping turned into three. Not because of Amazon. It was because of this hotel. Due to disconnected departments and a lack of communication, my shoes had apparently entered receiving but not "physically available" to the regular staff. I had one man bring me all the way to the back of the hotel to show me what he called the "cage" and that there were no packages for me. He even showed me the clipboard that the people in receiving haven't touched in a few days. He called them "lazy" and that they are always "slow".14) When my package finally got to front desk, it did not make it to my room. I asked for them to bring it up and they didn't. When I asked to pick it up instead, they told me I couldn't and someone will hand deliver it. So back up I went and waited for someone to do what I just did, go up the elevator.I'll end with a thrilling story from Hyatt Guest Services:"He didn't even hit the kid that hard".You think that's taken out of context? So did I when the staff told me about an incident where a guest had hit a kid with luggage cart and told me therefore I could not move the luggage cart without him. Thanks!I'll make sure not to hit any kids on my way out sir.
Nina Nguyen: Staff was fantastic, had a wonderful stay. Bonnie Cheung made our stay such a wonderful and memorable experience.

isaac oommen: Posh hotel - went there for a conference. Well set up for conferences. Just watch out if you're at a conference and have to take the lift up or down - it gets packed since only a few elevators service the conference floors.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view …More

Fairmont Hotel Vancouver: what do users think?
Sarah Greenwood: An exceptionally modern hotel, room, bar/restaurant - everything you would expect for a very healthy price! Or should I say, top dollar. Amazing experience form the minute we stepped foot on the driveway out front. Exceptionally nice staff, healthy food and delicious drinks. The hotel rooms are like luxury condos, however, the TV's could do with an upgrade.
Jay Joyce '74: Disappointing at best...My wife and I stayed as part of a Regent Cruise Lines off-ship Vancouver excursion. We have stayed at various Fairmont hotels in the past, and always had a great experience. Not this time. After the first evening, we went to breakfast with what we thought was plenty of time to spare. Upon arrival at the Notch8 maitre d's desk, we were told it would be a 15-20 minute wait for the breakfast buffet - even though we could see numerous empty seats in the dining room. They explained they were short-staffed. I asked to see the hotel manager, and only the desk manager was present. I expressed my concern, and said that at a minimum, we should have been told when we checked into the hotel to expect delays in breakfast service (because we had a morning time commitment). He was not aware of the problem. When I said that I would like to speak with the General Manager about the problem, he indicated that the GM had not yet arrived, and he did not know when he would. However, he said that he would have the GM contact me. The GM never contacted me.The make-up mirror light in our room was not working upon arrival. The next morning (same day as the breakfast problem) I stopped by the Front Desk, and the receptionist logged in the problem and said they would have it fixed that day. When we arrived back in our room that evening, it still had not been fixed. I called and they said that someone would be up to fix it. An hour later no one had appeared, and I called again. Same response - they'd get someone up to fix it. An hour later, after no one appeared, I went to bed.Next Day - breakfast - no problem - they had opened more space, leading me to wonder why they could not have seated us at an empty seat the day before...?At 8:15 AM, asked to see the manager to discuss my concerns; same desk manager appeared and said that GM was not in yet. I told him about the lack of response regarding the maintenance problem, and that the GM had not contacted me the day before. Polite reaction, but no actionable response on his part. When we left the hotel at 8:30, the GM had still not arrived. We were told by one of the dining staff team that there have been recent cuts in hours. How can this be possible if you're already not providing the level of service that Fairmont guests have come to expect? After three visits to Vancouver over several years - all at Fairmont Hotels - we will NOT stay at this hotel again, and not recommend it to others.
Taylor Rockefeller: Stayed here with my husband and 2 young kids. Very kid friendly without being a "kid" hotel. Room service food was average, and our bathroom was a little small, but the staff was all 10/10 fantastic. We can't wait to stay here again, either as a romantic getaway or as a family-friendly option. Great location with city views. I can't compliment the staff or environment here enough!
Mitchell Edwards: Beautiful Hotel with tons of history.Super friendly and helpful staff.Defiantly recommebd
Geraldine Henry: Our whole trip was a positive experience from before we arrived; to bellhop service, to extra assistance required with AC and figuring out amenities. Our breakfast before departure was top notch. Each staff member was kind and courteous. Thank you for helping us make the most of our little trip for our kids soccer. We always look forward to our time here. Thank you!Safety: Options for shopping and dining our were all close by. It is nice to have the downtown core experience and be safe and comfortable.Walkability: Excellent location for making the most of our time here.Food & drinks: Always love the quality of care that goes into our food while we are here.

Bernard Beck Jr: Had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel as we were getting ready to depart for a cruise. Staff was AMAZING. Will Lin took exceptional care of us during check-in, and was readily available with any assistance that we required during our stay, including being most professional in always calling us by name. The bell and parking staff were also extremely polite and professional. A ten minute walk to the pier and convention center, this location is near anything that you would require including a massive amount of restaurants and bars. The room was fantastic, clean, and we were fortunate (thanks to Will Lin) to get a room with an awesome view of the port.
Matteo Bocci: 4,5 stars. I spent five nights in this hotel for a business meeting. It is impressive how this huge hotel is run in a seemingly effortless fashion. Everything was really good. My room was spacious, clean, with an excellent view. The bed incredibly comfortable, and the service almost impeccable. The only minor point I believe can be improved is the coverage and speed of the Wi-Fi connection. Perfectly located, really convenient to walk pretty much anywhere in the city. Thank you for having me & looking forward to another stay!
Mehsam Sunny: Funny place to work at. They don't hire many people from south America , Asia, middle East , Russia to work in front office , guest services, restaurants and servers.

Pan Pacific Vancouver: what do users think?
Robert Dehn: If you are catching a Cruise out of here, then book here right now. It’s pricey but worth every penny. They literally have a “cruise deck” button in the elevators… took all the mystery out of “where do I need to go.” That being said it’s here. You leave from this hotel…!The rooms had an incredible view of the water, were spotless clean, and every person that worked there was so friendly and accommodating. We didn’t realize we needed to print our luggage tickets before getting there… and they even had a free business center with a free printer! There is an indoor shopping / food center directly across the street. Had a few stores / cheap food options as well and an indoor / outdoor sitting area. Grabbed a coffee and some travel essentials without issue.Protip. Ask the front desk to have the bellhops to take care of delivering your luggage to the cruise ship. We handed them off from our room (for a worth it, 5 dollar per bag fee!) …and then we we’re able to walk around Vancouver luggage / stress free for a few hours! Big win.

Tanya: It's the little things that matter. We arrived after a 14hr flight at the hotel at 8:30am. Dreading the late check-in, we were told our room was ready and we could go straight in. The porter was about 2 minutes behind us with our bags. Excellent! Twin beds that were double size. Pillows that were so comfortable. Shower curtain on a rail that was arc-ed outwards - the curtain didn't slap around you as you showered. Bathroom products that not only smell nice, but didn't feel like the cheapest, driest washing liquid. Positioned right on top of the cruise terminal making it easy for us to travel onward. A really really nice place to stay.
Montse Albella Fernandez: Hotel precioso ,cómodo con unas habitaciones espectaculares .
Steve Wilkins: Stayed for four nights pre an Alaska cruise. We had a club deluxe double double room, which was spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was adequate. Service was good from the staff we spoke with. Breakfast in the club lounge was of a high standard, and there is no need to pay extra for breakfast if you book a club room. I didn't think the hotel, in general, was of the same luxury as other Pan Pacific's I've stayed in. Nevertheless, I would recommend and stay again in the future.

Chris Fowler: First time staying here and likely will try another hotel first if we have to stay in Vancouver again. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable . The staff were very pleasant and helpful and seemed happy to be working here.Bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Pillows were a bit small and soft, but we had a good night sleep anyways. The reasons for for not getting more stars are:Parking is isn’t included, yes a small discount is given, and there was always someone patrolling the area, which a gave me piece of mind, but I have gotten security and parking included at hotels just up the street. Maybe it’s because I am not from the city, but $50+ for 24hrs of parking…. Ouch.No breakfast, or deals on food.TV, after a long day or running around, we couldn’t watch anything good or recent unless we wanted to pay. Now maybe I am wrong , but then it wasn’t clear how to watch anything good or recent.Didn’t try the internet.A hotel of this size, would be very difficult to paint and modernize, so I don’t mind that everything felt a bit dated.IMO not worth the price.
Benita Very nice!: We stayed here after disembarking from our cruise to Alaska to enjoy Vancouver for a couple of days. Fairmont Waterfront: what do users think?
Stefanie Wills: The staff, location, and food is the reason why I’m giving this place two stars. However, the rooms are very outdated and rundown. I’ve literally stayed in better two star hotels. There were no outlets at all on one side of the bed. There was noise from both the hall and outside of my room from the ships. It was very difficult to get any quiet time. I asked for a room move but was told the only renovated rooms go up to a certain floor. The photos are very misleading. The view from my room was nice but had to pay for the upgrade. Also, no mini fridge, only those annoying fridges that if you move anything you get auto charged. So tacky. Also, the shower/bath combo is old and tiny.I checked out and went to the fairmont pacific rim down the street and so happy I did!
Thib_ F: Great experience in family . Service was so nice and very good dishes at the restaurant , great hot pool thanks for all the employee. I will come back for sure! I highly recommend this place

The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver: what do users think?
Betsy Huang: Hight quickly hotel, we choose breakfast included, the breakfast is buffet style, everyday a little bit different, but it’s enough. Swimming pool and sauna, Gym was pretty relaxed.
Jose gabaldon rubio: Increible
rod beisel: Great location, overall great staffCheck in person was like used car salesman trying to upgrade us to more expensive room. Never had this experience here before.
Mitesh Vekaria: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Westin Bayshore Hotel in Vancouver, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From its prime location to its top-notch facilities, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations in every way.First and foremost, the location of the Westin Bayshore Hotel is absolutely superb. Situated right on the picturesque waterfront, it offers breathtaking views of the harbor and Stanley Park. Being able to wake up to such a stunning vista every morning was truly invigorating. Moreover, the hotel's proximity to downtown Vancouver allowed for easy access to the city's vibrant attractions, restaurants, and shops. Whether I wanted to explore the bustling city or take a leisurely stroll along the seawall, everything was conveniently within reach. The facilities at the Westin Bayshore were nothing short of impressive. The rooms were spacious, elegantly furnished, and exceptionally clean. The plush beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep. The hotel also boasts a wide range of amenities that cater to every guest's needs. The fitness center was well-equipped, allowing me to maintain my workout routine, and the spa provided a serene haven for relaxation. The outdoor pool, surrounded by lush greenery, was an absolute delight, offering a peaceful retreat with stunning views of the harbor. The hotel's attention to detail in maintaining their facilities was truly commendable. The staff at the Westin Bayshore Hotel were outstanding, delivering excellent service with genuine warmth and professionalism. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm smile and made to feel welcomed. The staff members were attentive, accommodating, and always went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable. Their knowledge of the area was invaluable in helping me plan my daily activities, and their recommendations for local attractions and dining options were spot on.Additionally, the dining options at the hotel were exceptional. The restaurants offered a variety of culinary delights, and the quality of the food was outstanding. Although they could cater more for vegetarians.I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay in Vancouver.

Jose Antonio Fernández Asensio: Espectacular
Margaret Au: We LOVE staying at the Westin Bayshore in Vancouver. Not only does this waterfront hotel offer wonderful views of the harbour, the marina and the city, its location is within walking distance of Stanley Park if you like the outdoors, or Robson Street if you prefer to go shopping or cafe- or restaurant-hopping. Also, there are plenty of bicycle and scooter rental places nearby.Courteous and friendly crew members; rooms are bright and clean. Can use some upgrade to provide more charging ports for modern devices but still acceptable. Good upscale restaurants in the hotel and plenty in the vicinity offering a wide variety of cuisines to suit any budget. Room service was also good.If I must include a negative comment, it would have to be my shock of the century experience with room service! I had a late dinner one night due to work demands, and really needed coffee. When I ordered room service, I wanted to get a pot of coffee to help me through the night. When I was told there was no coffee available at that time, it was simply incomprehensible. Yes, a first world problem but I have never encountered that in all my hotel stays so I was seriously shocked and … “disappointed” was nowhere close to how I felt at the time. Other than that, everything was great!
Mer Kava: Great location now ran by liars. I have been a guest since 2005 always in a Tower suite with Harbor View. Beautiful and convenient for a morning run in Sydney Park. I have also held three national corporate events (300+) over the years. Got in yesterday evening for a one nighter. Something looked off with the front desk staff, I asked confirmation that i was headed to a Tower room, she told me no, that was not the reservation but had the best room in the hotel. I confirmed it would have a Harbor view and a terrace. That was lies. My office i of course booked a Tower room, Room 904 is not the best in the hotel (that is a wood panel suites somewhere else I had a board meeting in years ago), no Harbor view and no terrace. I called the duty manager in the morning and was served another lie (reservation on Expedia, which my office never does). Not a word of apologies let alone a placating gesture, a very abnoxious attitude which is not what one would expect or need to get in the hospitality segment Westin operates in. Sad to strike the Westin Harbor off the list of accommodation our company uses but no guest need to be lied to.
Barney Andersen: I went recently for a gala event. Good service and good facilities despite its age.Service: 5/5 …More
Luis Valencia: Beautiful place

Fairmont Vancouver Airport: what do users think?
Louis Deslauriers: The best hotel at the YVR airport. Inside the terminal.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Akli Ait: Situé au plein cœur de l’aéroport international de Vancouver, cet hôtel 🏨 vous offre un confort presque irréprochable 👍🏼.
Wilson Luong: It’s nice hotel, but i have an issue with the iron. somehow it sprayed dirty water to ruin my friend’s shirt.Parking - if you have a car, park at Level 3, close to Skytrain station side as possible or it will be a long walk to the hotel.
Mike Abraniuk: Great hotel for an overnight connectionRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
edt ttt: One of the better airport hotels I have stayed, especially Steven the concierge personnel helped us with our bags, transportation etc. I loved the in-dinning in as well. The only reason for missing a star here is their front desk service, overcharged my credit card for something that’s free.
Ghen Quiban: Located at Vancouver International Airport. Escalator to/from US/International departure level.NO valet parking offered.Room was clean and quiet.Restaurant and lounge, business center - all the usual standards.
Ted Wilson: Clean modern rooms. Staff attitudes were terrific and helpful. A very busy location 1 block off the waterfront in downtown Vancouver.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet …More
Shelley Tallarico: Great staying there when traveling, stayed few times. The prices are ridiculous now. Also, they should have someone to come and check on pool area to keep kids from being too loud and parents not controlling them. When u pay these high prices you want to relax.Ugly carpet in room, comfortable beds nice staff.
KAMERON To: 這次去下午茶是買了優惠券就相當低食!如要正價就很貴啦!
Yvonne Segouin: Absolutely love this hotel. The staff treated us wonderful the view was amazing they treated our kids special, they gave our kids a special toy which I absolutely loved.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Nigori Xi a: The service attitude at the front desk is extremely poor. Especially Rohan D'SOUZA, the night manager. Our room card was just forgotten in the parking lot. We wanted to wait for a friend to pick up the card in the hotel lobby, but he insisted on driving us to the airport lobby. This is really Infuriating! He also said that only people who check in can wait in the lobby, but we are consumers! It's three o'clock in the morning, and we have a seven o'clock flight tomorrow morning! We argued with this manager in the lobby for almost 10 minutes. We thought the manager was racist, is this the Fairmont values?

Kdrama Junkie: PROS: Incredibly sound-proofed against air traffic. Everything is comfortable, which is what you need after a long travel day. Excellent lighting, plenty of mirror space, quality products, phenomenal water pressure, great views, comfortable beds, roomy showers and bathtubs, logical floorplans, bathrobes, plenty of hangers, space for luggage, free tea and coffee. CON: Bathroom designed for shorter-than-average people, although the tub would fit someone well over 6 feet tall. Toilet and counter/sink area, uncomfortably short.

Pacific Gateway Hotel at Vancouver Airport: what do users think?
norm walton: This hotel is terribly dated and in need of refurbishing. The room was dark and dirty. There was GOO on the bedside table, the room air filter was SO thick with debris it looked as though it had NEVER been cleaned or replaced and there was dirty tub grout in need of cleansing. Probably why the room is so dark. Only ONE very small soap bar to be used for both sink and shower. Will not stay here again and definitely would NOT recommend this hotel. I do have photos to support the above description and if they do not post here just ask I'll send them to you. They are shown under "photos"
Carolyn Victoria Mill: Workers on strike for 2 years? Yikes! Whatever they rebrand as we will be boycotting. If they can't value the people who make us feel welcome, our confidence in the quality of service will be zero. Fix this travesty asap please.
Rachel (Decoda_R): Great hotel but they closed it for renovation and soon will rise with a new name! And that’s what you guys need to find out! Soon!!!!
sam liu: Less service because short of labourRooms: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Jaejun Lee: Hard work going on. Thanks.
Karen M: I would definitely recommend this hotel. Convenient to the airport, nice rooms, good service, and just beside the river.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Rob Houston: Their reservations staff are AMAZINGThank you for your assistance setting up a reservation for my clients for their Honeymoon !!!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Gigi Dionne: I booked a stay and park package in April 2021. I just received notification, 7 months later and less than 6 weeks away from my vacation, that they cancelled my booking due to renovations planned for January and February. I don't know of any large chain of companies that decides last minute to renovate and close their accommodations within a month of starting work and closing their facility, so this must've been in the works for at least a while. I understand that circumstances change, but yeah, thanks for the notice, guys. Not cool and it left me scrambling to find other accommodations that were not as convenient. I won't be using your services again.
Neeraj Sharma: Very close to airport, staff was helpful, hotel provided cabs for both ways from and to airport.
Ian Reynolds: Clean, comfortable, friendly but tired decor let's it down. Great location for the airport 😁👍Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Xinlei Zhang: Super nice view and close to all delicious food in Richmond. Can’t expect more 😊
Mike Bosi: Close to airport and outlet shops
Manuela Lukowski: I have to admit this was extremely disappointing. Flying in, I discovered at the airport that the shuttle bus was not available due to a labour dispute. I proceeded to take a cab and arrived - no services were available at the hotel. I found old food in my fridge, no decaf coffee or cream in my room, an odd smell, skeleton crew at the hotel and apparently the city was working on the pipes - brown water. For the price of 300 when everything was said and done, I strongly advise staying at another hotel.
John Blake: It was a pleasant experience. Comfortable room and bed.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
Captain Korea: Only 5min from yvr rooms are clean and good location
Joseph Skillern: Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This web site will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have rates much cheaper than others! Thank me later! This place is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you choose this place you won't regret it.Very nice hotel. Excellent located close to the airport. Staff is very friendly, they really care about their guests! Restaurant offers good food and fair prices. I will come again!

Hotel BLU Vancouver: what do users think?
Fábio S: Bom hotel e bem localizado!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Icarus Skelly: Great location, right down town, but for 500 a night you'd think they'd remember to not leave a bag of someone's trash in your room, or clean up the drinks they knocked over while you were gone, or make sure your TV actually worked. Other than that, the real problem is the place is very haunted. Now I don't believe in spirits or astrology or anything, but my girlfriend and I BOTH had nightmares almost every night. Almost got stranded in the elevator after the card simply wouldn't work and we go soaring to someone else's floor when they called it only for no one to step in. Maddening.
Tyler Vogel: Service and staff are absolutely horrendous.. don’t stay here if possibleRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Shwanda Napoleon: Although there is no room service, the location is great and has many restaurants. Staff was friendly and so helpful.Rooms: Love the shower. A surprise for my partner and me.
Sonya Zhemchuzhnikov: Room 321 has a window into the bathroom with a curtain that is controlled from the outside. There were cockroaches in the curtain, and heating takes ages to warm up. Not to mention the fire that caused us to vacate at 6am: We were not notified. However the location was 2 minutes away from ballet bc.Rooms: Cockroaches.Safety: We were not notified about the fire in the building next door at 6AM.
Cam S.: This was our 2nd stay at Hotel BLU and it was fantastic. Front desk staff were upfront and honest about extra charges, detailed our fees, and were more than willing to accommodate our requests. (Corner room, extra parking, late checkout, etc etc)We will certainly be staying again for our future Rogers Arena or BC Place related events.
Anson Garaba: Awesome little hotel right across the street from the BC place. Rooms are great, as is the service. Has all the amenities that are expected from a hotel of this caliber, like a breakfast area, a pool and a gym. Hotel rooms aren't higher than the fifth floor of the building so views may not be notable but the inside more than makes up for that. Highly reccomend.
Rebecca Sullivan: Modern, Comfortable, Clean, Friendly Large Rooms, Bikes, SaunaRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Anna Scott: This was our second time staying here and it will be our last. When we got our room the floor was so dirty, there was dust all over the tables too. We called down and a housekeeper came up and said her vacuum was broken earlier. She did a literal one minute vacuum of half the floor and left, leaving it still grossly dirty. The sheets had holes in them and the windows were so dirty we almost couldn't see out. Not what you expect for $400 a night. They only comped our parking for the whole ordeal. Not impressed, will not stay here again.
Aaron: Found the hotel welcoming with supportive staff. The details were thoughtful from coffee to electronics. Our standard room had a European size shower (tiny). It was a short uphill walk to the shopping district. Good close options for dining. The hotel has residence condos onsite and is surrounded by other condos. Sports stadium is a block over. We ate breakfast at the 2nd floor restaurant and it was very good.
Eryka N: Hassle free stay for the fam!!!Hotel Blu did not disappoint. I am very meticulous whenever we go to any hotel, but was very impressed by how clean the room is. Location is great very close to much everything. Parking is good and the staff are all helpful and nice.
Dwayne Meredith: There were several of my out of town employees in Vancouver for an event. At the time of booking, we were told an early check in would not be a problem. Check in was 4pm. I arrived at 2 was told the room was not available but would be placed on priority. Other employees were checked in after I arrived. Several other hotel clients arrived after me. They did get me in at 4pm, but come on. Their staff gave me lip service and fell back on their 4pm checkin policy. BS. Not helpful at all. And one not happy client. Room was nice and clean, but was left with a sour taste.
tia rodrigue: After a horrible stay at the river rock hotel we decided to visit our original choice (hotel blu) and I have to say from the moment I walked through the doors the service and atmosphere was amazing. The hotel was so clean and really made us feel special. The small details like a welcome letter and lollipops on the table was so nice. The pool was amazing and We will for sure be back to try out the fitness center. 5 star ⭐️
Andrew Hiob: This hotel was everything I hoped for. When we checked in I mentioned that I was here in celebration of being cancer-free. We were upgraded to a suite and presented with a personal note congratulating me on beating cancer. It was incredible service which went above and beyond anything we expected. The hotel itself was clean and all the staff were super friendly. Martha checked us in and she saw us in the hallway the next day and greeted us by name and asked how we liked the room. We will stay here again! We were upgraded to one of the suites. It was massive. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. There were 2 televisions in the room with the largest one being in the bedroom.Rooms: Comfortable beds. Dyson hair drier in the washroom. Massive amount of space.Nearby activities: Delicious seafood restaurant right next door. Within walking distance of hundreds of stores and attractions in downtown Vancouver.Walkability: I have back problems and was able to walk to many Vancouver attractions like Science World and the Art Gallery
clarissa harris: it was good even the pool i hope i will come back soonRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Luck Rasoanilana: From the moment we checked in, Melissa from reception was exceptionally welcoming and inviting! She was knowledgeable about the city, was enthusiastic when talking to us, and was enjoyable to chat with. The Hotel is indeed blue like the name, which makes for a calming aesthetic and chill vibe. The room was spacious and clean, service was good, and the Hotel's location is downtown/near many downtown areas. The hotel also offers free 4-hour bike rentals which saved a lot of hassle. The rooms came with your typical toiletries, bath robes, etc. but one thing we found thoughtful was the included umbrella which was one less thing to pack to deal with the Vancouver rain. The pool/hot tub were medium-sized and busy sometimes.Would recommend!
Maddie Rivera: Melissa at reception made our experience! We had a rough day getting to Vancouver and she made our night. We arrived super late with a toddler and doggo. Melissa was super mindful about accommodating our needs. She is a really great person and I appreciate her humour. We would definitely stay here again simply from the impression she left on us. Also, unsure if it was just our room, but the shower set up is super cool! You can see the shower from the bed!If you’re bringing a pet, there’s a super sweet dog “terms and agreements” to sign. It’s very cute!!Rooms: Perfect size and cool shower set up!Nearby activities: Great to stay at if you’re into hockey!Safety: Vancouver in general felt safeWalkability: Lots of nearby places to eat and drink at. You could walk one block and have a whole new selection of places to visitFood & drinks: Great options around you!
Ryan Smith: Overall great place and super comfy rooms. Staff were fantastic. Could be a little more clean in some areas. Location is fantastic for getting around the city.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
