Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Vancouver-Downtown: what do users think?
jon hannasch: Location across the street from BC stadium. Walking distance to several restaurants and Sky train station. Large rooms with all the standard amenities. Clean. Noted hallway noise easily transfers into the room. Free breakfast was okay.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Henry Wong: A centrally located in downtown Vancouver. Walking distance to many attractions.Rooms: Nice size room.Safety: Neighbourhoods are safe to walk.
Kurt Shockey: This past week work brought me north of the border. Was consulting in North Vancouver. Had a corner room with an excellent view of downtown Vancouver. Room was very quiet and the staff was friendly. Only thing I would suggest is possibly opening breakfast at 6:30am instead of 7am. The week I was there had a number of people waiting after 6:30am, including myself. Enjoy the many photos I took.
LilyBW B: Staff was amazingly sweet and the bed was comfortable. Room looked really nice.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Chris Summitt: This was close to the cruise port and walking distance to Yaletown and Chinatown. Reiko recommended the Jade Dynasty for lunch in Chinatown. It was very good.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet, Great value …More
Angie F: Great location. Right across the street from BC PLACE and a Boston Pizza :-) Staff was very friendly. Easy check in. Parking is very convenient. Elevator from garage straight up to your floor. $28.00 parking with in/out privileges. Complimentary breakfast was the usual fare. Nothing spectacular but adequate. We had wanted an accessible room, but we were told that their accessible rooms ONLY have bathtubs which didn't work for us. We needed a separate shower. So we had regular room with a shower/no tub. The bed was EXTREMELY high. Nice to have coffee in the room. Was also told by front desk agent that room would have a sofa, but it did not. It did have a chair though. At what we paid, I would have enjoyed a "suite" with a sofa, since it wasn't an accessible room anyway.
Ayo Ayo: Excellent. I love everything about this place. Location, nice room, nice breakfast. Feels like home close to all locations.Rooms: Big and spacious. Nice viewNearby activities: Close to all stores downtown.Walkability: Walkable distance to all stores.Food & drinks: Perfect, it feels like home.
Mona Homsi: Very friendly staff and the place was niceThe room wasn’t very clean even after we asked them to clean the roomThey clean the surface but don’t move chairs or small furniture and clean under. The breakfast was boring same thing over and over and oveerrrr again no variety
Shawna Peters: Good view. Nice room. Professional staff. Great stay.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Rpv Vaj: Room was great. Manager at front desk was awful. Didnt explain anything to us, just gave us key cards and said nothing is charged. We asked for any paperwork, reciept, something, he jsu said 'No' I didn't charge you yet". Then walked away.Employees were actually great, they explained everything to us, have us coupons for exhibits, suggestions, and even toldnus about free shuttles. Would of been 5 stars, but Manager left bad taste, employees should train the manager.Nearby activities: Close to many places to eat and shopWalkability: Better to walk, since paid parking everywhere.
Ankita Ahuja: We had a good stay at this hotel. The room was clean. The only issue that I want to mention about is - "the rude behaviour of the front desk manager". There is a way to convey things to a customer in a polite tone. This was not a great customer service experience for me.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Cristiana Ritchie-Bonomo: Walkability: In a great part of town and convenientRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Tom Booth: Great view of the stadium and city. clean rooms. Loved the location that was close to great places to eat.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lovelylady: When I first arrived Thursday morning the staff member was very nice checking my information and storing my bags. She told me to check back around 12:00 but I didn't return til 2:00 realizing I was early. I waited in the lobby for quite awhile then I approached the front desk and another staff member asked me if I was waiting for someone? I looked confused, then she saw my paperwork with my name on it. She said, oh I'm sorry. Then I was checked in and given my room key. I felt this incident made the staff appear not attentive. Otherwise, my room & bathroom were very clean and spacious! The breakfast could use some work, to me it was subpar at best, a lot of carbs. The hotel lobby is very small. It is centrally located downtown where there are plenty of restaurants and shops.
terry evans: Comfy beds. This hotel is close to concerts and has a nice swirl pool in the top deck.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More

Hilton Vancouver Downtown: what do users think?
Lyna Zee: We had great nights at Hilton, the location is perfect, close to restaurants and downtown.Service is great, at the front desk and restaurant.Generally the place is amazing with great views. I would recommend it to anyone.Give you 10 star 😍
Kevin Northrup: Very comfortable rooms that are nicely furnished. Very convenient placement. There are many nice coffee shops and restaurants within walking distance. Also love the proximity to the bay.Walkability: Look at a map and you'll see most of what an average person needs may want is on the same block.
Michael T: Great central location, close proximity to many restaurants, attractions & transportation. Service was the highlight, staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was to our satisfactory. Pool/hot tub & gym were good amenities. Highly recommend & would stay again for the service & location.Walkability: Central downtown location
Anthony Fairthorne: Really nice hotel in a great location in the downtown area with so much just a short walk away or the metro station which is only a couple of minutes away. The views from the upper floors are superb. The gym space isn’t bad but could be better.Breakfast was always good with really good friendly service. As I stayed for 10 days the staff addressed me by name as they remembered me which is a nice touch. The only negative was the WiFi connectivity and speeds were poor. Connectivity in my room and the gym were both very intermittent making working here very difficult although I was able to use the wired network connection in my room.Overall though a very pleasant stay and I’d love to come back again to explore more of this beautiful city.
Andi Zhang: Good location, good suite rooms, best fit for ppl like me that need to work. I need to request for room cleaning services a day in advance though, which is not very convenient.Walkability: Walkable to downtown attractions
Jenny Kite: As a Hilton Diamond member I’d say skip this hotel if you want to use the internet to watch anything streaming. I stay at Hiltons in countries all over the world and this is the first one I’ve encountered in a decade that is clearly blocking common streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, etc.). All other internet works (somewhat slowly). When I went to the front desk I was told the hotel internet wasn’t working well so they gave me a password for the meeting spaces which clearly had the same screening, I could watch YouTube videos after a long wait but all streaming services say they have no internet…. What year is it?
T Lucas: Very clean, we loved that our room had a separate bedroom. Our room had absolutely beautiful views! It was the perfect place to explore Vancouver most popular neighborhoods- Chinatown, downtown, Stanley park, Gastown, yaletown, cruise terminal, and is close to the train station. Our only issue was the elevator situation, it seemed to run pretty slow... But we weren't really in a hurry.
Marvin Lee: Amazing location and superb serviceRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
NiZ: Great staff. Great service. Had an amazing stay. Rooms are clean and well serviced. All the staff went out of the way to help make our stay fantastic. Would happily return.
Ro Al: Very comfortable lovely suites and the staff are kind and attentive.
PW Spence: Nice room and comfortable beds. Great location. Disappointing breakfast buffet with gnats (food flies?) on the food, with several eating the lemon pound cake and one landed on my plate. Many were on the wall behind the buffet. I would not eat food that has been touched by flies due to possible germs carried by flies. I reported the problem the first day. All they did was shoo the flies away (without throwing the food away or covering the food). The next morning they put a little fan to try to blow away the flies but that didn't work. There were more flies than the day before. I again spoke with the staff. This time I recommended calling pest control. We had a gnat problem at our house last year and our pest control techician identified the source quickly and got rid of them. So I don't understand why this hotel hasn't dealt with the gnat issue.
Therese Martin: After a long day of traveling I was greeted warmly. The staff went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The reception desk staff were helpful and the restaurant staff made sure everything was just right.Rooms: The suite I was in had a beautiful view of the city. It was clean and well appointed. I appreciated the added touch of a Nespresso machine.
Robert Smith: Great location and staff. Rooms seem up to date and clean. Excellent breakfast.
Kelly Flanagan: The food and staff in Time and Place are the best. We will miss everyone at the front desk, the bar staff, and the kitchen staff who all made the whole experience so welcoming.Nearby activities: The Burnaby Mall is two blocks over and two blocks down. Hundreds of great stores including a Walmart and a Superstore.Walkability: Lots to do and there is a rail station a couple of blocks away.Food & drinks: Love the happy hour menu.Noteworthy details: The whole hotel staff is friendly and accommodating.

Holiday Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
Madison Stewart: Overall a terrible experience at the Holiday Inn Downtown Vancouver. I found a bed bug in the room and reported it to the front desk, they confirmed that yes it was a bed bug but due to their recent renovation it was not possible to have originated from the hotel. Instead, it was implied that I had brought the bed bug in with me. It's fairly obvious that the rooms are not completely new, including the furniture, just new flooring and paint. I was offered no compensation, no voucher for dry cleaning etc. and the room I was moved to had hairs in the shower and sink.
Bluelinewall: The place is a bit of a maze. They are renovating. The location is good. I love the second floor deck. The restaurant food was good.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Kid-friendly, Great value …More
BreeAnna Lasher: Nice place to stay. No hot tub. Short walk to Starbucks. Good location. Parked in the garage and it was super convenient and our car wasn’t broken into. Very close to a great bar!
Amanda Reding: Walkability: A variety of decent coffee shops and restaurants within a block or two.Noteworthy details: Parking costs extra per day, the charges may look strange the first couple of days because they do a 50$ hold the first day and then on day 2 charge the balance of what adds up to two days.
Norm Yip: I liked the room I stayed in, a corner suite at the end of a long corridor. It was clean, no smell, and clean. The hallway itself is a bit dated, needing a refresh. The shower faucet came off, but I just pushed it back in. There was some noise from the bar outside, but not overly so that I couldn't sleep. The fitness centre is okay and empty. I guess the clientelle here don't like working out. All in all, an okay experience, mostly because the room was clean and to my liking.Nearby activities: A short walk to the Vancouver Art Gallery. Also a great variety of restaurants around the neighborhood, in particular a wonderful pastry/bakery named Breka with the best Earl Grey Creme Puff and Chocolate Almond Croissant I've tasted in awhile.
thomas eliot: Very nice hotel five minutes' walk from the centre. Eccellente breakfast and dinner and competente and good-looking staffRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Aman Kumar: Located in downtown, which is easily accessible by transit. Lots of food options near by.AC was not working and we were told that they have turned off central cooling. We were told to open windows to lower room temperature. This is not acceptable from renowned hotel. Also i was disappointed by breakfast. Thought it to be buffet breakfast. But it was fixed ala carte. There were few options on menu and one can order one of them.Reception staff was nice and we were given free room upgrade as we were here to celebrate my birthday.
John Braun: Convenient location to explore Vancouver.Friendly staff members. The room was spotless, quiet, comfortable, spacious, and well-equipped. Excellent breakfast.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Carlos Alejandro Franco: A well-located hotel, just in the core of Vancouver downtown. Unfortunately, its pleasantly premises and its global corporate structure comes to be nothing when dealing with his night clerk, a Maya native named Hernan Lopez, who happens to be very arrogant and rude with the guests. Worst of all, he uses to sell rooms under the table asking you to pay him $100 CAD without a bill, of course. I sincerely recommend his manager to be more careful about the behavior and the fraudulent manners of this corrupt employee.
David: A fine enough hotel. The service was lukewarm but the hotel rooms (which seem to be recently renovated) feel like they're from another era. How a television doesn't have a way to connect your phone or computer in 2023 is beyond me. No Chromecast? No HDMI cable? These are basic expectations in a hotel now and with very little to do around this neighbourhood at night, it would be nice if they invested in updating more than the shower.
Josh Johnson: Great accommodations and friendly staff. Room was very clean and well maintained - kudus to the housekeeping and maintenance teams. It’s in an older building but refurbished on the inside. The windows are a bit thin slowing a lot of street noise, but fortunately it’s a quiet area so mostly just traffic white noise.Would definitely stay again!
Scarlet Carbajal Azcona: Un hotel muy bonito, muy cómodo, buenos espacios, ubicación privilegiada, la gente es muy amable.
Kevin Soo: The check in experience was great. The check out experience on 18 April 6am wasn't great. The guy was angry for some reason. Didn't greet. No eye contact. Just want to get things done. On 16 April a bunch of school kids checked in and it was crazy. I started at 6th floor and these kids were running around knocking on every door. They also played and threw things down the emergency staircase. I reported it and the hotel staff took immediate action. Unfortunately the kids came back out to play once the staff is gone. Not a hotel issue, but the kids were very inconsiderate.
Ben G: The room and bed was very comfortable, cleanliness of room was also good, staff were also very friendly. We did have a couple of nights where our floor had about 4-5 rooms booked up by what looked like a college party, loud music and teenagers drinking in the corridor with loud music, but it did die down around 1-2am. Pool was nice and warm, but when we got there there were beer cans and towels everywhere, which I assume was left by the party going on upstairs. This may have just been a one off, but other than these 2 days, hotel was lovely and quiet.

Auberge Vancouver Hotel: what do users think?
Yeedah Krasowski: The four stars instead of 5 are because the underground parking was challenging to find and our plane had landed much later than scheduled so after circling the block about 6 times we finally found it. But once inside, our room was beautiful, and it was quiet. The bed is more firm than we are used to but we were exhausted so we slept well. If you're pulling alot of luggage be sure to grab a luggage cart since the hallways here are very narrow. The location is great, walking distance of alot of restaurants and city sights, and the cruise terminal. And central to many day trip sightseeing locations.Rooms: Modern upscale vibe, spacious, clean, quietNearby activities: About 2 blocks from the waterfront, many restaurants, and great photo spots, and the cruise terminal, an easy day trip from many known tourist attractionsWalkability: We walked to dinner at the waterfront and walked about 20 minutes to breakfast in the downtown area, and we walked to our cruise terminal even with alot of luggage
Charlene Gasquoine: The room was very nice, a little small but clean. The bed and the shower was very goodWalkability: Very close to the cruise port and other tourist attractions
Ruth Canham: The hotel’s location is basically perfect. Just a couple blocks from the train station and Canada place. We arrived late, after 21:00, but the receptionist was very courteous and polite. There was no hassle checking in, and we went straight to our room. And what a room! We booked a king corner view suite. The views are stunning, the room spacious and well decorated, shower hot and relaxing, bed and pillows you sink right into, and they even have a nespresso machine to fuel my caffeine addiction. Truly excellent.
Londa Brooks: This place is pure magic. Friendly hotel staff in a central location. Nothing more could be asked forRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bernadhi Widjaja: Amazing hotel, room with top view, great location, so close to Canada Place and Gastown, friendly staff, amazing fitness centre! Loved our time in Vancouver because of Auberge Van hotel! Thanks for letting my family and I stay at yours!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view …More
Don Kiefer: Great accommodations. Very close to places we want to visit. Cruise terminal very close if a future cruise is on your bucket list.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view …More
Michael Levitt: This location would have gotten 5 stars all around but there was some serious dust in areas that need an annual or semi annual dusting schedule at a minimum.Staff was amazing and helpful at all times. Location was great & super easy as we didn't want to rent a car, so trips were a fast Uber or taxi. They have a taxi call button they use, which is similar to other hotels, but the taxi actually shows up unlike other hotels.Great place, will stay again for sure 😀Pool and fitness area is well kept and clean. Great spot for kids so well bring our daughter next time and make a family trip.
Christopher Chan: Luxurious experiencePros-Beautiful view-Clean, spacious room-Swimming PoolCons-Expensive-DryWe stayed at the King suite harbour view room. The view was amazing and such a treat to be able to look out of those giant windows every day. As beautiful as the view was, I wonder if my children would've been just as content with the city view. Speaking of children, I must warn that the windows posed a bit of a safety concern because they could've easily opened the windows and fallen out. But, as long as we were watching them, we all could enjoy the view. The Swimming Pool was made available to people staying at the hotel through the Terminal City Club. It was really nice, as was the gym, squash courts, shower and change rooms. The problem with such a luxurious hotel was that it was expensive. But, the experience that you get somewhat justifies it. I guess it's up to your needs and preferences. I also felt a bit dry while I was there, even though Vancouver itself is fairly humid. Perhaps it was the air quality control within the hotel? We did have to call them for water quite often. Every time, they were quick to respond. We also had an issue with the safe not working. They responded fairly quickly and had it fixed in no time.
April and Mike Page: We stayed at this hotel when we went to a concert. The staff is AMAZING !Very kind and helpful. We will definitely stay there againWalkability: Nice and close to the Theatre
Macatefe G: Habitaciones muy grandes y comodas muy buena ubicacion
Manny V: This hotel is okay, not really 4 stars quality that shown in the web site. I feel like dated hotel just got some facelift with some mismatched furnitures. Our mattress was pretty rough, it has some side of wear and tear. Maybe just a bad luck. That’s reason we don’t stay in one place for more than 3 days eve though we stay in Vancouver for 10 days.
tang xiaofeng: 室外的海鸥晚上有点吵,客房服务后丢了一个小化妆品。
Brian Rivers: Great location!!! Walking distance from the water and all sorts of restaurants/bars. The front desk was friendly and helpful. All the facilities were in great shape.Street views from the room were great. The view from the fitness club/pool was amazing! Can be difficult to get from the parking garage to the hotel especially if you have big luggage but only a minor inconvenience.
Francis: I'm a solo traveler and this was perfect. Is located at the harbour front within a 10 min walk to the train. The harbour facing suite was worth the view. The room was clean for the most part and the service was great. It's a small bathroom without a tub but I didn't mind.I found the usual hotel grimy spots but not any worse than a four star hotel. Maybe if I was in a room without the view then this review would have been more critical.Indoor pool, gym, no room service but plenty of food within a very short walking distance.
Hanyan Wang: Stayed March 9 to 11. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful!
Jasmine Leach: We stayed at this hotel twice over the course of a month and both times the front desk staff were excellent with our requests. First time we arrived at 8.30am after a 15 hour flight + train hoping they had a room ready and they were very accommodating. Second time, we asked to store luggage for a week as we were flying to Mexico and had a months worth of winter gear that we were very lucky to leave behind. The bed and pillows were cosy and the rooms were warm. Can't comment regarding parking because we used the train. If I'm going to be picky then the hair dryer needs an upgrade, the A/C was a bit noisy and they don't supply hot chocolate sachets in the rooms :( However we would definitely stay here again as the location is fab and the beds/pillows are good!
t SCH: My new favorite hotel in Vancouver. We stayed last weekend and had the use of the Terminal City club pool and gym. Huge rooms, great location near the waterfront and subway.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Karine Chouinard: Rooms: The king suite was roomy but the mattress was very springy.Walkability: You can walk to many great locations from this hotelFood & drinks: They don't have a restaurant or buffet. You have to leave the hotel to eat.Noteworthy details: The building is not only the hotel. Floors 3 to 7 are offices. 8 to 12 is hotel. The pool is located on the 4th floor and is not reserved for hotel guests. Members of the gym have priority access so it makes it very hard to take a dip in the pool since it has only 4 lanes. They also do not have valet parking.

A lex: Absolutely horrible experience trying to BOOK this hotel...probably a reason I don't usually stay at Marriott's. The website misled me into purchasing points, which then could not be used, and the points are non-refundable!! After an hour on the phone there was no help. Staying elsewhere. J.M .B: No complaints, I recommend this place.
Edith Pituskin: I have stayed at many Residence Inns throughout North America and this was by far the very best!!! Comfortable rooms and beds, private patio to enjoy outdoors, beautiful pools and exercise rooms. Exceptional breakfast, better than anywhere I have traveled! Special thanks to Mike, my mum needed a bit of extra time as she wasn't well, allowed late checkout. Highly recommend!!!!
Tricia Richard: Lovely hotel, clean and friendly. All rooms have a kitchen. Full fridge, dishes, microwave, cooking top, kettle, coffee maker safe. Bathroom is a good size.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great view, Quiet …More
Chris Wafer: Right down the street from the airport with a lot of parking. Didn't like the shower not having a full shower door, but was a good good stay overall.Rooms: Wish there was a full shower door in the bathroom.
Maribel Freis: The kitchen staff made my stay! I had never had a veggie scramble before and I had to mention to them that it was soo delicious (I’m not much of a veggie person) the kitchen lady was sooo kind and sweet she shared how they made it and even offered to make a batch the next day. I got to meet her manager the next day and sure enough they made the batch of the veggie scramble. The whole kitchen staff was very sweet and tentative. Making sure to check if there was enough food in the serving trays and the staff kept the tables clean. Thank you for the fresh breakfast. I’d also like to add the lady that helped me check in was also very sweet. I really wish I had all their names because they all deserve to be recognized for their kindness, customer service and hard work. I’ve never cared to have a favorite hotel chain but after this stay I definitely do. And for anyone considering staying here, go for it. The hotel is comfortable and clean and the surrounding area is also very comfortable we pretty much walked everywhere. We had trouble closing our curtain and within minutes someone came upstairs to help us.
Tess Filling: Staff were very helpful and our room was massive. My only complaints are we spent a lot of time waiting for the elevator, and the breakfast was pretty awful.
Bernadhi Widjaja: Amazing spacious room, great value, good location, decent complimentary breakfast. We arrived in Vancouver on rainy days and the free umbrellas were super helpful! Will come back if I ever am in Vancouver again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Great value …More
Nitin Shenoy: Stayed here for close to 3 weeks. Rooms are a good size with kitchenette provided, they’ve got a hot tub, pool and honestly it’s in a great location. What stood out the most for me was the excellent service provided by the team with a special mention to Imelda. She really exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable.Truly appreciate her and the team at residence inn for their courteous and professional staff. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in Downtown Vancouver.
Mandy Ramirez: Beautiful hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver, great accommodation. Smooth check in. The only disappointing thing was the service at breakfast. We were told there was a breakfast available from 7 to 10 AM, we got there at 10 to 10, and it appears that most of the food had already been Put away. One of our party members started choking and we couldn’t even find any water and were told that we had to go to the pool area to get water.?! While we were eating, staff continually interrupted our conversation and our meal to try to take our plates that we were eating off of from us, it was very clear that we were not finished, but we felt very harassed and hurried for breakfast, it made for a very stressful dining experience. I understand it was at the end of their shift but if breakfast is promised between 7 AM and 10 AM we ought to be allowed to have breakfast peacefully even if it’s 9:50 AM.
Devon Guzzi: Great atmosphere, amenities, and location. Rooms are starting to show their age though but it is reflected in the low price.Rooms: Starting to show their ageWalkability: Great location
Junius Rahardjo: Rather old ambient but nicely located in downtown
devarsh mehta: One of the worst experience I have ever had on breakfast table. If your day starts with such unacceptable behaviour, you gonna regret staying here. This is a place Where breakfast ends at 10:00AM on weekends but they stop refilling food counters at 9:15AM only! The cleaning staff asks you to collect the garbage on your own and put it in a plate for their convenience and starts to spray the table in between your breakfast in order to make you walk away while you are still eating. Very pathetic and rude behaviour of staff is a blow to the name and image of Marriott group. I wouldn't advice anyone to "suffer" at this place. They truly lack courtesy and basic etiquettes.

Nicolas Simonet: Tres bien situe, chambre confortable, personnel agréable
Marilyn Lindsay: Service was exceptional. Location is a big plus. Rooms are clean and good size. The bed is very comfortable. The only slight criticism is that the restaurant, and there isn't any room service, closes at 9:00, and the nearest restaurant is about 6 minute walk.Walkability: Near the harbor front, wonderful walking path
M M: I'm not sure how this classifies as a 4-star hotel. Lobby, service, restaurant and gym, sure -- 4-star worthy. But rooms? Dingy. Worn-down. Steel entry doors with reinforcement so you feel ever so safe. Sliding barn-style doors on closet and bathroom that don't slide easily at all. Carpets of questionable design, age and cleanliness. Shower fixtures loose and under-powered. Beds that creak and rattle just from getting in or out of them. Top it off with Wifi that's slow, at best... I could go on.Price-wise, you get what you pay, I guess. Parking is underground, and while it's not cheap (about $37 with taxes to self-park), it's not as bad as some neighbouring hotels. Just be warned that it's a 6' clearance -- so most SUVs won't slide in there.Positives? Staff and bell service were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was fine. The gym was handy, but not all equipment is working or in good repair -- and by the sounds of it, the hot tub is out of order more often than it's usable -- and it was out of order for my visit, too. The restaurant is pricy, but has nice views over the street/harbour.All in all, it feels like the Pinnacle has lost its shine. I'd choose one of the other nearby options before coming back here -- and there are a lot of other hotels in the area. Our room was a "harbour-view" that peeked out at Coal Harbour through an enclosed balcony.

Ramada by Wyndham Vancouver Downtown: what do users think?
Rayon Simpson: Rooms: The 1 that I got was pretty much basic nothing too fancy.Nearby activities: If you are into partying like me this place is the spot there is sooooo many clubs on the street and when you drink and get high there is alot of pizza place you can go to for a late night snackSafety: The safety there is not bad because at times they have security who go around and do their checks so it's not badWalkability: When you are at the place you don't need to rent a car because everything is pretty much in the area that's if you like walkingFood & drinks: Well I did take out so I really can say anything about there food or drinks, there is a place nextdoor that do breakfast and once you are staying at to hotel you get a 10% discountNoteworthy details: There is not much I have to say on this topic, oh.. o forget there is a club nextdoor once you are staying at the hotel you show them your key and you will get in for free
Henry Yip: Make sure to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a place. This site will compare countless booking websites and usually will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of my favorites in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you won't regret it.Really like staying here. Building is dated but has been kept well and remodelled. It’s clean and in a super convenient location downtown. The front desk staff is amazing very kind and helpful.
P H: I have to give a star but would like to give this place 0 stars. If you are travelling to Vancouver on the weekend and you intend to sleep, steer clear. The hotel staff explained that most people come here to party so sleeping isn't important. If that's you, this might be good value. We like to sleep and learned that this hotel is built on top of a club. You will listen to wooooo's and pounding music until the club closes at 3am. We tried switching rooms partway through the night (both on the top 2 floors) but they were equally bad. We gave up at 1am and left for another hotel.Other things to note - this is a Quality Inn now, the water ran brown for a bit when we turned on the tap and they left the very end of a toilet paper roll for us
Simranpreet Kaur: My stay was peaceful.Rooms: Room was so clean but very small. Great options for coffee but there were no bottles of water, I could have asked but I didn't have strength to make a call as I was so tired after trevalling 30 hours. But it would be really great if there were some beverages options available in the room.Walkability: Near to bus stops and convenient stores.
Jaimy Jolly: Really small rooms. Service wasn't up to the standardRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Sheena Jones: We were told it was $26 to park underground & free to park outside. so we just parked outside only to be billed $26 for parking anyways and when asked the next day about the bill, I was told parking cost the same anywhere you park 🤦🏻‍♀️The hotel itself is not up to par! You don’t take your shoes off at this hotel! Extremely tiny room and not even a microwave. It cost over $200 for a 1 night stay on a weekday in the off season, with a view of the alley & the garbage truck sounded like it was driving through our room at 7am & the entire place was sketchy as heck. I do not recommend.
Amanda Coleman: I wish I could rate this hotel better but I am treated absolutely unfairly. I checked in very late, got “upgraded to a suite” and as I checked out, I got a charged of $630 on my card for a damaged TV. I did not break anything in this room, the TV had no signal in the bedroom but the one in the living room did. The phone was not working, there was dust on the nightstand… I knew housekeeping did turn the corner a bit round on that room but I did not complain about it, it’s not a 5 star hotel, not the easiest time for hospitality so I let it go. I talked to front desk supervisor and manager, both won’t believe me. I sent Airbnb reviews about myself as a guest to prove that I am a respectful person and would never break anything. I emailed the Hotel manager, no respond. I asked for the housekeeping report, nothing. I’ve been ignored and it breaks my heart to be treated so unfairly. I will escalade this case! I just wished they would take responsibility for not checking and taking care of the room properly. I’ve been polite and respectful as mistakes happens. But I do need to get refunded for that. $630… tv is functional, it’s just the cable. So even that amount doesn’t make sense…please if someone can help me with that case I would appreciate it!
paul tayag: Staffs are accomodating. They gave us free upgrade last timw since our room is situated beside the disco.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
David Santiago: It’s a good hotel to stay, in an excellent location in downtown. The only think is that the breakfast they offer it doesn’t have variety and they have a few parking spots
Tim Normous (Daddy Long Legz): Found someone else's garbage in my bed. An almond granola bar wrapper. Good thing I don't have a nut allergy... Very doubtful the sheets were changed. Front desk was not concerned and even denied it when I called back. The hotel was hardly acceptable leading up to that, but now I'm disgusted. Save your money and get a hostel, probably cleaner.
Kris Janelle: Nice...the internet still thinks it's a hotel....well okay I'll just leave it alone then🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Spencer Paul: Do not waste your money here.
Yulia Voloshchenko: I was booking a hotel for my mom who had to flee the war in Ukraine and was staying over with me over the holidays. The morning before the stay I received a message that her bus to Vancouver got cancelled as the highways were shut down and there was no way to make it to city for her on the day of booking. I contacted the hotel and the booking support right away however I was told there is nothing they can do as I prepaid for the hotel ( I wasn't expecting mom to pay for it as she is already going through hard times enough). After explaining the situation and requesting further review by both the management and the website support, I was left with no answer for over 24 hours only to find out that there is nothing they can do, I was not even offered an option to change the booking date and pay for the cost difference, the money were just gone. I really didn't appreciate this experience and treatment as it just felt like the hotel is profiting from other peoples hardship. Definitely will never book it again, what a nightmare :(
Kolby Mailloux: Payed for a room here to stay on December 20th. Snowstorm hit last night which made us unable to get to the hotel. They would not refund us the rate because of same day cancellation. I find it very unethical for a hotel to take my money when its unsafe for us to try and get to the hotel. Horrible customer service experience, don’t stay here! Also, the last time I stayed here the front desk person assumed that me (a male) and my boyfriend wanted a two double bed room even though we booked a king room. He made it seem that he thought two men wouldn’t want to share one bed… nice one Wyndham Group.
Steve Penny: Good stay, great location in Vancouver! Close to excellent restaurants, concert venues, and pubs. The Morrissey Pub is outstanding!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
tangocorte (TangoCorté): The staff was first rate! Everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeepers smiled and greeted me every time they saw me. They made my stay a real pleasure. The beds were too soft for me, but the rooms were nicely decorated, clean, and very cozy, giving it a very homey feel. I'd happily stay here again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Eric Fernandez: Location is great, not recommended if you have small children as this block of Granville has like clubs, intoxicated people were around. 15-30 mins walk to anywhere downtown, from Granville Island to Robson to Canada Place. No breakfast but to pay about $40 extra for breakfast at a different hotel wasn't worth it for us. However there is a place next door that offers discount on food, but we didn't take advantage of it. King size bedroom was clean, room was cleaned daily, no view but we didn't need a view, we were there for sleep. All the staff were great, welcoming and efficient.
Colton Barker: Solid price for downtown. They upgraded us to a suite so that was a bonus. Room was very clean. Only downfall is it's right above a nightclub that parties hard until 3am. Otherwise good.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More

EXchange Hotel Vancouver - An Executive Hotel: what do users think?
F K: This is my by far my favourite hotel in Vancouver. It is so easy to get to by transit, and is located in a great part of the city. The rooms are very spacious and clean, with extremely comfortable beds. But what keeps me extend stay is the staff !!! Truly, the staff here are second to none! Farshid at the concierge desk is by far the best in the city. He constantly goes over and above to make you feel like family. Honestly, he is the best ! He takes so much pride in making you feel at home. A true gem. This hotel is only minutes from the convention centre, gastown, shopping, and Canada Place which makes is so desirable as well. There are hundreds of hotels to choose from in the area, however to me this hotel in the city has the best staff and location going!Thank you Exchange Hotel Vancouver for always being consistent, connected, and kind to me, and my family during our stays with you.
Troy McCoy: The hotel was better than expected. Perfect location. Great room with comfortable bed and pillows. All of the staff was extremely nice and helpful. We arrived early and asked them to hold our luggage for us while we went on a tour. When we got back our room was ready and they had already put our luggage in our room for us without us even asking. And lastly we would highly advise to pre-purchase the breakfast if you like having breakfast. First it’s a lot less expensive than eating there without it AND it’s one of the best breakfasts we have ever eaten. Extremely good quality.
Sandy Leier: The EXchange Hotel is a beautifully renovated building in a fantastic location if you’re looking to stay near the convention centre, Gastown, or Robison St shopping. The people that work there are incredibly helpful and genuinely care about the experience that their customers have during their stay. I loved the room that i stayed in, equipped with all of the essentials including real cream and milk for my coffee. The room was comfortable and very nicely decorated, and I’d give it a perfect score for cleanliness. I highly recommend this hotel and will be booking again in the future.

Elizabeth Varughese: I have stayed at this hotel in the past but this time my extended family came as well. The location is fantastic for shops, restaurants and Coal Harbour. However, what I like most is the service. Everyone is sincerely very kind and helpful. Thanks again.Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Christy Simpson: We love this hotel! This was our second time staying here and we will be back! The location is ideal, the beds are very comfortable, and the rooms have a great design flavor (coming from an interior designer herself). What sets this hotel apart is their staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcomed.Walkability: Super close to Pacific Centre Mall , great restaurants , and the ocean
Michael Lavigueur: Great hotel in the core of Vancouver just steps away from the waterfront and local attractionsExcellent transportation from the airport via the sky trainNice rooms and great serviceRooms: Clean and comfortableNearby activities: Waterfront walks and museum of art shopping of courseSafety: Open streets well lite in the evening very walkableWalkability: Located in downtown core and within minutes for walking to nearby attractions and restaurantsNoteworthy details: Converted historical office tower green heated and use of rain water
Chris Krock: Great location, and the staff were incredibly nice and kind. The level of service was outstanding. The room was ok, super small for 500 a night and not a lot of storage so if you were staying longer than a couple of days you lived out of your suitcase. I unfortunately was put in a room on the 3rd floor facing the street so it was very loud with traffic, people and sirens. The clothes steamer didn't work, but the staff was on top of getting me an iron and board. Breakfast was good at the restaurant as well

Alina Daniela Botezan: It’s a little bit unbelievable that this place is rated 3 Stars. No functional heating system(this seems to be an old problem), gave us a loud heating fan and told us they will refund the price we paid for a night. After we were gone, we received only 178CAD (what we paid for a night was 247CAD).The staff seemed to be trying but that only lasted until we left. Too bad, I probably would have given a better review despite dirty and torn sheets, if they had kept their promises. The only positive about this place is the location.Walkability: Close to most important attractions
Alex Kowalik: My room was smaller than my bathroom at home. I expected a bit more for the price. But staff were all wonderful. And the location is stellarRooms: SmallSafety: There is a security guard at nightWalkability: Great location
Michael Branson: The Burrard hotel was a fantastic experience. Extremely welcoming and helpful staff, awesome rooms with air conditioning, comfy bed and pillows, free water and coffee (and you can ask for as more waters if you need extra), cool atmosphere (fire pit and games in the centre), central to Granville and lots of restaurants, the list goes on. Would recommend for everyone and definitely would stay here again in the future. 10/10
Sergiu Botezan: This place is a scam.We made the mistake to trust the positive reviews. In retrospect I believe those reviews were bought. This place is definitely not a 3 star hotel. We paid almost 1000CAD for 4 nights and had to sleep in 16 degrees Celsius because there was no heat. As we complained we received a heating fan which was very loud and because of that could be used only during the day. As compensation we were promised to get back one free night which didn’t truly happened. We got back only 180CAD from the 250 promised which by the way is way too less for the fact that our vacation was destroyed due to the fact that we got a bad cold. The bathroom is very small, coffee and water were not refilled every day, walls are thin and you can hear everything around you, windows are to the hallway outside so you have no privacy.I will fill up a complain against this place and try to get my money back.Stay away from this place and remain healthy!
G Rivera: Excellent staff! I loved my stay here, everything was clean no issues, and has met all our expectations. I would highly recommend it while in Vancouver.Rooms: Very Neat and clean. Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre: what do users think?
Taran Dhindsa: Upon arrival, We let front desk know that we had a young child, and that we were looking for a room that was a bit larger. In order to accommodate the front desk staff provided us with a room that was ready prior to the allotted check-in time and gave us a corner view suite. This was an amazing upgrade and we enjoyed the beautiful view of the city.Thank you Sude who helped us and gave us the best service!
Jacob Pallister: In the heart of downtown, this beautiful hotel and service levels are hard to beat. Great views all aroundRooms: Well equipped and always clean.Nearby activities: Anything and everythingWalkability: In the heart of downtown
Matthew P: Stayed on a high floor in the north tower and loved the views. Had perfect weather while in Vancouver which made the views even better with sun coming in to the room from mid afternoon. Although the room decor, carpet and drapes are quite dated, the room had everything I needed and the bed was super comfortable. The gym is surprisingly well equipped. Service from staff was excellent. Would highly recommend especially if you want a central hotel close to everything.

Sara Edgar: I’m not sure how this place has so many good reviews. You can tell it was once a nice place, but it certainly didn’t live up to expectations during my stay. The room smelled damp and musty upon entry and the shower curtain smelled like mold. I tried to call room service for dinner, but they didn’t answer the phone at all and I had to download the app to order online. Also called down to the front desk to request one of their listed available amenities and was told they no longer have contact lens solution. Overall just a disappointment and I’ll book somewhere else next time.Rooms: The way it smelled like a wet basement whenever you ran water in the bathroom.
Mitchell Singer: Solid hotel right in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Nice size room and washroom for a big city. Accommodating staff.Walkability: Right in the heart of downtown
Michael Harris: One on the best places I’ve ever stayed.

Kelly: Clean room, great service
Aaron: I’ve stayed here around 6 times and this is just a very average hotel. I am an Ambassador Elite Bonvoy member. Front desk staff is usually pretty friendly. Breakfast in the Club lounge is included for platinum members and above or if you purchase club level rooms. The breakfast is buffet style and is very underwhelming. I prefer going to the lobby Starbucks than Eating the bagged scrambled eggs in the lounge... Valet parking is over $50 a day with taxes, very expensive, but on par for Vancouver. Each time I stay here the room layout is different, as they have many different layouts. Some better than others. At my last stay I had asked for an upgrade and this was granted, however the upgraded room was just a 2 bedroom room with no sitting area or anything. While I appreciated the upgrade, it didn’t really make sense to have 2 bedrooms as we didn’t even use the one room and just sat on the bed in the other to watch TV. This would be much better for a family though. The elevators in the South tower are a major issue. They take a very long time to arrive and this causes them to be very full, especially during peak hours. This hotel tends to be much cheaper than the other Marriott-branded hotels in downtown Vancouver, and in my opinion you’re getting what you pay for as I have stayed at pretty much all Marriotts in the area.
Linda Curley: Brilliant hotel in a great location. It is central to all tourist activities.Staff are very pleasant and helpful.Cafe one is lovely serving a great breakfast. Our room was on 21st floor and the views over vancover are amazing.
