Hon's Wonton House - Olympic Village: what do users think?
leonard fong: Recommended dishes Noodle SoupMore
Sy Y.: Compare to other places, this one is good with price and taste.
Joey Daumich: Favourite place for Cantonese food - especially their dim sum, wonton noodle soup and HK-style lemon tea! Reminds me of Hong Kong. Very clean and simple dining room too.Recommended dishes Ha Gow, Wonton Noodle Soup, BBQ Pork Buns …More
Angela Kayan: The best wontons ever! So good on a cloudy and rainy day, the wonton noodle soup just hits the spot. We’ve been ordering from this shop for months now and they never disappoint. I personally love and always get the deep fried pork dumplings and my husband love the custard lava buns
Josh Winters: Recommended dishes Soup, Noodle Soup, PotstickersMore
Allison Daniels: It didn’t taste good, the quality was so bad we went sick….
Michael Ip: Being a 香港人, this wonton house isn’t the usual one you found in Hong Kong. It is not 100% authentic, but I really enjoy the standardized food processing this shop offer. Especially having some hot soup in the cold weather. Hon’s have a long history in Vancouver Chinatown, bring back many good memories with family
코나디안TV: 한국분들한테는 원톤누들수프는 많이 비리실꺼에요. :)다른 음식은 맛있습니다.직원분들도 친절하시구요!
Joyce C: Yesterday, I had a chicken chow mein for takeout. It was dry and flavorless. Both the chow mein and chicken tasted like they had been around for a long time.I would have sent it my review yesterday but I ended up having diarrhea all night. I did have a bad feeling when I was eating the chow mein (didn't finish). I should have followed my instinct and just chuck it out in the compost bin. What a terrible experience. I truly don't recommend this place.
josh lowe: Convenient, Well priced, nice having vegetarian options, a little oily.
T T: Quality of food was horrible. Pork was dry and flavourless. Noodles also didn’t taste good and hardly had any sauce on it.
Shahab Rad: Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5More
sienna early: Amazing food!!
Helen Mears: I love this place-and went to the original in Chinatown in the 70's.The next generation has streamlined it; Homemade wontons are the best and are consistent.Beef Brisket on rice is great.Small indoor seating area, very clean.I eat here at least 3-4 times when in Vancouver.
San Nguyen: Good service, reasonably priced, food was fast to come out, and it was quite delectable. Relatively small selection of food, but what they dish out is good! Ordered noodles with beef brisket, spicy dumplings, and hong kong style iced tea: came out to around 18
Jack Hazardous: Please for the love of god tell the chef to trim the fat off, I got more fat than meat in my meal, and it was disgusting every time to bite into one. Other than that, the flavors were fine when meat was actually found.
James Neuman: Nasty and disgusting. Ordered the bbq pork on rice. It was 80% fat and gristle with barely any meat. The meat that was there was super dry. Stay away from this place. This stuff is inedible.
Winston Victor Barta: Very disappointing. Noodles in the won ton dish were overcooked and tasted worse than the $0.99 grocery store ramen. The beef brisket with rice was basically all rice with two tiny pieces of gai lan. Quality was quite a letdown, especially after having eaten at the Robson Street location back when it was open.
Chelsea Woo: Ordered take-out. Curry beef brisket and the bbq pork with rice. The bbq pork was thick, dry, chewy and not edible at all. It is the worst bbq pork i've tasted in years. The curry beef brisket was also dry and came without any visible sauce (definitely nothing like the picture shown on the menu). This was a really disappointing experience and I'll never order here again.
Kelsey Chow: Super delicious place to get a hot bowl of noodles on a chilly day. The lunch rush was busy and while we didn't wait for a table the restaurant was almost full the entire time we sat in for lunch.I highly recommend getting the beef brisket as the chunks are deliciously tender in the soup. The wontons are tasty and I recommend getting a side of the spicy ones of you like a bit of heat. The black sesame buns are warm and fluffy buns with a sweet smooth nutty filling. A tasty way to end the meal
Kevin bruneau: great wonton soup....the potstickers were not good at all, ended up throwing half away....have been going to Hons New West for many years....abit disappointed with the location qualityFood: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More

Business type: Property management company

Village Gate Homes: what do users think?
Sk Uns: I echo the sentiments of the other formal tenants. They don’t fix a thing. Treat you like a pain when you ask for something to be fixed. The managers scam you left right and centre. Pay your own move out fees or demand to see receipts. I think they are running huge scams through this place. Parking, cleaning, maintenance. Anything they can. They say they contract work out but they patch it together themselves. He told me he had a can of paint and walls needed to be touched up- no they didn’t, I bought paint and did it myself- and tried to charge me $400.
S Dot: The happiest day you will deal with Village Gate is the day you move out of your rental (that includes forking over hundreds to them for painting, blind and carpet cleaning). It is a cost you will gladly pay to be done with this place. While the purpose of this entity is to provide reasonably priced rentals to UBC staff, faculty, and family they are nothing short of a giant pain to deal with every single time you need something addressed. Their staff turnover appears to be so high that there is no continuity in ownership of the issues in the buildings. We lived in ours for just over a year and our building went through 3 maintenance men. The office staff isn’t much better. If you have an immediate electrical or plumbing issue (trust me you will have them) they do respond quickly but anything else dealing with things like very old and malfunctioning tile, grout, cupboards, appliances will go by the wayside. Many of the units and common areas need updating. When we moved in it was clear all the bathroom tiles and shower/tub enclosures needed to be replaced. They told us they would get on it. 16 months later it was never done. Why they didn’t address it in the 6 months that our unit sat empty before we moved in is beyond my comprehension. In general living here is convenient, but aside from the staff another issue is that renters generally take no interest in the state of the buildings. People move out (sometimes to far flung or overseas locations) and just leave their furniture and belongings behind in the storage or garbage rooms, not to mention the abandoned bikes in the overflowing bike rooms. 90% of the bicycles in the storage rooms are either abandoned or rusting. So either people are leaving them behind (certain) or are just using them for the repository for their bikes that they use once a year and the problem compounds itself as the management refused to address it in a meaningful and effective way. The garbage rooms are constantly a disgusting mess, so much so that you think some of the tenants are animals that can’t read signs or follow the rules. Village Gate is a necessary evil if you are moving to campus as a staff member, but don’t expect a smooth ride or a pleasant experience. UBC needs to overhaul the whole structure of this group, it doesn’t work and their staff retention and attitudes reflect it.
Jieren Wang: Village Gate Homes is a subsidy of UBC and is supposed to support UBC faculty and staff housing, which makes renting on campus more affordable and comfortable. However, I lived there for two years, and I couldn't wait to get out of it. I have now been moved out for several months, and I am still so angry at this company. I waited for a long time before I could write this review, because I am trying to be as objective as possible without my anger influencing me.First of all, it can take a while, and in one of our cases, it took more than one year to replace an appliance part. Our fridge is so old. When I asked for a new fridge, the maintenance staff told me that I shouldn't request for a new fridge, because the management office is so cheap they would get the cheapest and much smaller fridge to replace this one. However, our electricity bill was 40% higher than our previous place with a similar sized apartment. I then asked for a new seal for the door for the fridge because the old one is falling apart and breaking off. I suspect this made the fridge energy inefficient and caused the high electricity bill. Although we requested multiple times online, by email and on the phone, it took them over a year to replace the door seal, and our electricity bill dropped right away.Second, their maintenance staff is rude and lazy. When he is in our apartment fixing the appliance or anything, he will repeatedly utter the F words. I have lived in many apartment buildings. This kind of behavior has never happened before, and this is from an education institute property management company. I was really shocked but did not know what to do. I can't complain about him because I have to rely on him to fix our appliances.Third, their moving-out fee is a scam. We cleaned the place spotless with pictures sent to them, they still claimed they still used many hours to clean our apartment. When we first moved in, we knew the previous tenants. They were charged over $$$ dollars to replace the carpet, but they never changed a piece of carpet throughout the two years we lived there. As far as we know, they still haven't changed the carpet. When you move in, be prepared that your deposit will be at a loss.Fourth, this management company has not interest in maintaining the buildings in a good shape nor maintaining tenants happy. I worked as a property manager in the past, and one big part of our job was to constantly update our properties to keep up the value and keep our tenants happy so they stay longer. This company seems to have no interest in upgrading their apartments at all. It is because UBC faculty or staff cannot afford to live anywhere close to UBC with multi-million apartments nearby. Houses are out of the question. The more people move out, the more money they can get from the deposit. Plus they can move the long waiting list faster. My advise is this. If you are looking for a place to live because of your job at UBC, look somewhere else off campus.
Geo Vslrs: New places and extremely expensive

Reyhane Baghban: First time eating at this place and had the most disappointing experience ever. Our server, apparently called Jennica, was either not trained enough to know the rules of customer service or simply just didn't care about them. From the very first moment, we were treated with a disturbingly rude and aggressive attitude from her. To make A even a minor, of drinking one of the beers on the table. Then she proceeds to move the beer away from her, and later removes the beer from our table when we ask why. Jennica not only accuaed us of lying but threatened to call the police and have us removed from the restaurant! We were also called “not worth losing her job”.This is unacceptable behavior. We did not enter this place to be attacked, verbally harassed, and threatened by the staff member. As a server, her job is to serve us and make sure we are having the experience that we deserve not telling us where to put our drinks. Avoid this place if you don't want to be harassed by your server!
Deli Dang: Update: my recent visit had an unpleasant surprise. My all time favorite Nashville chicken burger was extremely bready The chicken was covered by oily and not chewable bread crust it’s so thick! First time in six years I didn’t finish this burger.Been dining here for some a little over 6 years! Food and service are so fluid and Flawless! When are we bringing back crispy calamari?!?!

Meticulous Stressor: Great food with fresh ingredients, Happy Hour was a great price, excellent service, wonderful atmosphere. Bigger screens for watching dropped down in preparation for the NHL draft lottery and the Stanley cup game. Tried the truffle fries (very good) and the Hand-Pressed Burger (also very good)
Paul Petersen: Great food, great service. Great place for a first date or casual get together. Great place for the friends to meet up and watch the game with quality food and service.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Andy Chiang: This has been a staple for me to visit during any visit to Park Royal. They always have some fun special everyday and their pizzas are legit.I ordered the burger pizza, which was basically a pickle loaded burger pizza. If you like pizzas and pickles, then I highly suggest it. Look at the picture, that is legitimately a lot pickles.Value was there, there’s always some specials happening and it’s usually always packed. It’s also family friendly, so feel free to bring your kids.Service was also top notch for our experience. Will definitely be back for another meal next time we are at Park Royal.

Margo Murray: Village Taphouse never disappoints! We have been here for lunch several times with our ladies group and have never had a bad meal. Service is always very friendly and on point. A few of us tried the Sierra Salad this time and it was sooo good. Thanks once again for a welcoming, comfortable venue for us to have our get togethers!

Tara Simon: The food was delicious, fresh and had great presentation. Our server was friendly, easy going and fun. We made a reservation in advance and they gave us a table by the fire which was really appreciated as the weather outside was chilly so that added some nice ambience for us. We chose Tap House for Happy Hour and were going to attend a movie afterwards at park Royal but I got the movie time wrong so we ended up just hanging out at Tap house a little longer! LOL. We had a great spot and it was an overall great experience. Dad had a great time and enjoyed his meatballs ;) Would come back again for sure. Highly recommend the Korean cauliflower, Sierra salad and a pina colada (all on Happy hour special between 2-5pm!) :)Vegetarian options: salads, korean cauliflower appie, there are a few optionsKid-friendliness: Kids are welcomeParking: Lots of spots in and around the village area. May have to walk but its all within range. We parked on the other side by the Whole Foods as there's always lots of parking there. Its only a 2 min walk from that side.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking is close by and there is low table seating in the dining area to accommodate wheelchair seating. It might be tight to get through the entry way but i think they can accommodate and make it work

Davie Village Home Hardware: what do users think?
Ramtin Lahooti: Inventory is too limited and staff look so tired here, but trying to help. Good hardware store considering this is Downtown and there is not enough space
Ash Taba: Cashier doesn't know the difference between bill and receipt. Asked them multiple times to give me both bill and receipt and he could only understand the receipt part.Couldn’t find duct tape I was looking for
carmen koc: Excellent customer service
Ellora Nandi: For years I used to go out of my way to shop there but I can't recommend them anymore.
Dee Paquette: Great service always 🙂As it's the only hardware store in the West End prices are reflected in this fact 🙄
Autumn Delaney: Nice and small store, employees seem nice and helpful. I was surprised at how many kitchen appliances they sell. Was a little off putting to be stopped and told to leave my bag at the front, but it was an empty bag specifically for shopping so it was okay.
Carl “Budd” Stymiest UE: Convenience at your doorstep in Davie Village. Great service!😀 Support our local businesses.
Salvador Cornelio Marí: Friendly service for key copying, I paid 1/3 of what I paid before. The place is so big never thought it was a whole warehouse there. Something to improve the weird moment a female staff made at the entry for leaving the bags there.
Wei x: Convenient location with good variety of products
Wiggy Pop (JustDefy): They close 5 minutes before closing.
Kayla: Love this local hardware store, the staff is super helpful and very friendly, the shelves are always stocked with the kinda of things you need as a DIY city dwellers, and if they don't have quite what I need they are always happy to order it in for me, couldn't ask for a better neighbor!
Adam Van Baarsen: The team here is always so approachable and helpful
Khalil K: Christopher went out of his way to save us in a pinch. Incredible service, thank you!
Vasu Desikachary: Very friendly and helpful staff who will gladly spend 5, even 10 minutes with you to help with your issue - unlike other big box hardware chains. My go-to store for d-i-y projects.
Emily Kerr: The staff here offered help immediately and were able to help me find the exact item I was looking for!! Thank you
centerdays dayvacation: Very nice and helpful. Plenty of staff.
Mark-Anthony Briand: No. I'm not going to leave my bag with my $2000 MacBook in it at the front door for the privilege of buying a roll of tape from your store while your cashier eats yogurt at the till... I will be shopping elsewhere from now on lol.
Kristina Popova: Had a horrible experience with Aayne, I believe his name was. His man told me to leave my bag at the front and told me he was going to watch it. When I finished my shopping I noticed that there was no one watching my bag or the other bags. I could have easily taken all the bags and walked right out since it was at the very front of the store. No one would have noticed. I tell Aayane (the employee) that no one was watching my bag he tells me “it’s a plastic bag no one’s going to steal it”. That’s not the point. I trusted this man with my person belongings and he didn’t watch them. He also told me “to not come on it I don’t like it” and was extremely rude to me. I’ll make sure to follow up with head office, because if this their version of “good customer service” I won’t be coming in again.
Thomas Hong Ling: Friendly neighbourhood hardware store in the west end. It reminded me of the store in Saturday Night Fever.
Pamela Miler Rangel: They asked my husband to keep his bag at the entry store and he accepted, but in the end, the security guard took a photo of him after he PAID the products. He noticed and requested to have his photo deleted once he did nothing less than buy products like any other customer. If you want to avoid this situation, don't go to this store!
Spencer Shack: Incredibly conveniently located town style hardware store with a great selection of anything you might need. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have excellent home goods for sale as well.

REW (Real Estate Works): what do users think?
Yvette M: Johnny helped me buy a home. He was patient and gave me options as I was trying to figure out what worked best for me. He was positive, supportive and encouraging. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his wife. Amazing people and realtors.
Graham Judd: Website has glitches so that not all listings appear - contact number listed only goes to voicemail. They don't seem particularly interested in fixing the glitches so I would recommend an alternative website to make sure you don't miss out on anything.
Syed Rizvi: Good place for real estate to review.
Eddy Jalbert: They did not produce the 4-5 leads they stated my $300.00 plus monthly presence would generate? When I requested my account be placed on hold they ghosted me and removed the $300.00 plus dollars from my credit card for June, I am still trying to get them to cancel my profile and buyers connect. They are still ignoring me! I have to change my credit card number as they are not responding. Buyer beware!!! Eddy Jalbert Remax Compass Property Management.
Jeff Martel: Very straight forward Website, easy user interface
Mehdi Mohammadi: Good
Akhil V H: Ideal place to find your permanent dwelling.
Shelly Nichele: Positive:Professionalism,Quality
Kevin Whittaker: The website is decent and easy to navigate, however it seems there needs to be a stricter screening process on which agents you allow to post. It's clear in your previous reviews people are getting jerked around and all you can say in response is "oh they don't work for us" well maybe remove their posting so people can actually view and browse legitimate listings? Just a thought =)
Anita James: Were hopefull
Darryl Lim: Positive:Quality,ResponsivenessLove the website. Easily to navigate and useful for local home searches. Great experience with staff when I’ve had any issues or concerns.
Kenneth Cox: I've worked with dozens of real estate web development and technology companies and REW is by far one of the best I've had the pleasure of doing business with for over 15 years! Whether you're just getting started or growing your real estate business, I'd definitely check them out before moving forward with another company... and when you do, ask for Shannon Barker, she rocks and will help take your business to a whole new level!
D Hans: Great site to look up homes for sale. Very user friendly with good search options!
Norm Hiller: I'm a Realtor who's been advertising with REW for years. They are extremely professional and efficient and I've had great experiences and insight every time I contact them. Many homebuyers love their website as their search functionality is one of the best. We will definitely continue to use their services. Thanks again
Bella S: This site is crooked. Specially and specifically Mr. Glen hao. He is very unscrupulous and very unprofessional. Highly disappointed.....
william keith: This is absolutely ridiculous. Glen hao charged us money and blocked our number. Now he’s not willing to meet us. Not recommended. Zero professionalism. They should shut this down.
Emran Hayat: All the pictures posted on the sites are fake. They are bogus. There is a guy name glen hao, he doesn’t even care about the customers. They are highly trained to con people professionally.

Both computers were out of stock and there was no notification to the customer that they were out of stock or display only. When i asked if its possible to have a discount on the floor model- he said no, but that he would give me a free warranty. I walked away, was a shame because i was willing to pay and was excited to have my purchases. Waste of time.
Paavali Henki: Very large store with big selection of electronics. Kind and knowledgeable staff members. Best prices.
Noah Vasquez: Waited an hour this morning before opening to be the first to get the new game released today (tears of the kingdom). A line of about 40 people gathered behind me and the one person infront of me. The store manager didn’t seem to care about a line so about 20 people gathered in a cluster infront of the line as they all rushed the till befor the people who had waited in line. You would think when a highly demanded release calls people to line up for over an hour the store would at least try to honour first come first serve of a limited supply. Ended up getting the game after fighting my way into the crowd 👎
mayuri mammai: Today I happened to go to this store to buy mac book, and at the billing counter, unfortunately, my Credit card chip is malfunctioning, this person named Mathesh started giving me looks and showing an unnecessary attitude, without even looking at my card he said it was expired, as I was trying multiple times inserting my card, he was acting it out. I know he might be doing hard work but not at all professional, I felt judged at that point, well I just left the store and placed an order for pickup at another store🙄
Navneet Kaur: I went to the store yesterday to look options for a laptop. The associate,Aman, assisted me with the best options in my budget and was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. Even though I had plans to buy later as I went just to look for the options,I ended up finalising the laptop as I was convinced Great service by Aman.
Guilherme Guedes: Pretty standard Best Buy store. Very helpful and friendly service but some products like phone protection ones (glass, cases and others) are way more expensive than it should. You can easily find them online at half the price. But other psychs such as home electronics, gadgets and appliances are at a good price. You should always look for the offers though, they're very frequent but not always communicated, so you should do a price check before buying.
S p: EXTREMELY Pushy salespeople, and at the same time not knowledgeable about the products at all. Used car salesmen are like angels compared to some of these Best Buy salespeople. Worst part is that they INSIST that they are Not on commission, while literally doing ANYhthing to push you to buy...! I take it as a direct insult for someone to look directly into my eyes and lie so clearly and obviously into my face....Oh and I also had the pleasure of dealing with their Geek Squad for TV installation. After paying 350 Dollars for a TV mount, the first time they messed up the installation - they were nice people though. I had to book a second appointment which was scheduled for a few days later. The 2nd group who showed up at the 2nd appointment were so rude!!! And I ended up with extra holes on my wall and a TV which afterall was not installed at the height that I had originally asked for. Because they couldn't make holes too close to the holes that the first group initially made in the first appointment. In short, I describe their Geek Squad personnel as "Rookies". Definitely Not worth the 350 dollars to have a messed up TV mount and extra holes on your wall.
Ron Hunter: Awesome experience ended up buying a Sony portable speaker and I'm loving it
Mo Mo: its my favourite store in metro Vancouver ,stuff are so helpful, knowledgable and kind, service is fast, no fusspickup order were on time with email updatesgreat choice for everyone who is for new arrivals or dongles, partseverything is thereall my Macs, pc,iphones and watch including tv and appliances are for Grenville store

Mark P: Stood around for 20 mins looking for help while everyone I kept stopping kept saying someone else would help me. The customer service here is absolutely horrendous
Keyvan Radbin: Updated store with a lots of electronics.
Adam Newsome: Great experience at mobile booth. Fast checkout, no hassle. The staff member called me to let me know I forgot my ID there!
Macaw: It's alright, kinda sad
Kate H: The manager, Ben, is extremely kind and helpful. He works very hard and provided alternative solutions to my purchasing needs.Thoroughly nice person.
Hossein ShirMohamadi: Before shopping from Best buy, I contacted an agent to learn more about the HP OfficeJet Pro 9020 series printer online. They avoid pointing to its weaknesses, and then, because of their short return policy, I've been keeping a useless, costly printer due to the following weaknesses;1. The scanner automatically adjusts auto brightness on documents in photo or doc preset. So you cannot scan something in actual colours.2. It sometimes has issues connecting your devices, and you have to sign in to your HP account before using it. Requiring users to log in to an online account to use offline devices is annoying.3. Besides this device's high cost of inks, you have a few months to use your cartridges; otherwise, they'll empty.4. This printer is heavy and oversized, and it makes noises. Therefore, I will never shop from Best buy anymore.
Karen Bast: The staff is, as always, very helpful and friendly.
Zac A: Good location and most of the staff is kind & helpful
Sharon: Great service! 👍 Especially by Aman, he gives his honest opinion about laptop recommendations, and I'm absolutely satisfied with the one I bought! 🤩
