Nifty Keen Stuff: what do users think?
Cody Haines: Visited the store today! The owners are amazingly sweet and super helpful! Highly recommend this place for any collector!
David Shymko (DJ Dave): I really like this “mom and pop” shoppe. It has everything from t shirts of Betty Paige to toys , action figure collectables.. and I got an entire set of rock star cards. Wonderful. Friendly staff..peculiar hours, some items are a little pricy.
Majid Khoury: The best hidden secret in Vancouver. Walk into what feels like the home of the lovely owners, roam around, explore every nook, shelf, box and you'd be amazed what finds you'd buy. Anything from comics of my childhood to nifty nicknacks to hip old t-shirts to rare books, it is there. Added bonus is the magical mood enhancer the shopping experience there gives you - any day I feel stressed or needing a quick fix of something, I go to Nifty Keen Stuff. 30 minutes later and tons of new goodies for less than $100 and I am sent off with a big smile on my face and in my heart. Thank you guys
Dick De ryk: Great place to go if you like comics!
Pasha Nejad: Amazing comic book shop, had a lot of Moon Knight comics I was wanting, really nice staff and a big collection to browse through! 10/10 will be back again
Markus Jacobson: Great shop for comics to dig lots of selection. The owners are very nice and helpful..i highly recommend going there for comic books and toy collectibles
W R: Cool little shop.. found some gems!
Ben Sheppard: Great old school comic shop. The owners are really nice and have a lot of cool comics and collectables.
Vegan Jeffrey: Kind and friendly owner, very helpful and willing to tell you about their collection. If you are into vintage comics, this is the right place for you. According to the owner, all the comics are published before 1992. Boxes and boxes of comics worth to spend a whole just looking through them.
Fred Keiner: Great store
G S: So much rare, amazing stuff. I found tons of books I’ve missed since childhood, and the owners knew exactly what to recommend. I’ll be back!
Chris Stepchuk: I would highly recommend this cool shop to anyone looking for comics, magazines, toys, collectibles, etc. Amazing selection of back issue comics, run by extremely nice people! Not to be missed if you're in Vancouver.
David Lemon: Cool store with some neat collectables and friendly staff...will be back for more Darth Vader collectables.
Geordie Aitken: Don't be fooled by the humble signage and bric-a-brac in the window; this is the curated collection of a master collectibes hound. Ken used to run the legendary Airship Comics (on Londsdale Ave in North Van) back in the 80s, until 1992 when they shut down. Ken's collection has late 80s and early 90s Marvel and DC gems, included incredible multi-issue runs at low prices. Nifty Keen Stuff is keeping it real.
Kyle Miller: Great shop. Really friendly and tons of great comics . worth a trip.
Trevor Young: Very nice owners. Very knowledgeable. Decent prices with lots of inventory. Great hole in the wall store.
Greg Loey: It's always a pleasure dealing with Susan and Ken.Always great comics available at fair prices
Tristan Miller: Fun place to visit, with unseen treasures bursting out of all corners, which is run by a reasonable and friendly couple! 5 stars easily!
Alex K Cossa: A great little store; a ton of comics and some awesome collectibles to suit almost any tastes (there's a surprisingly robust amount of Disney things here, too). Super friendly staff - well worth the 45 minute walk from Downtown (or the $10ish Uber ride back). I'm really happy I stopped by!
Syntax Terror: Super friendly and a humble assortment of vintage comics. I found a good amount of items to add to my collection within a short time. I'll be back soon enough!
Andrew: Lots of great items, love this place!

Bia Sales: Amazing selection of graphic novels!
Lucian Rinke-Hardekopf: Lovely little store with helpful staff
Asha Raibmon: one of my favorite bookstores! i’ve been going since i was a kid so it’s pretty nostalgic (maybe that clouds my view) but it’s always been an amazing space 3
Lorna Moreno: You can find a lot of great selection here. I had a good time browsing nice comics in this place. It was unique and cute inside. It was comfortable and the space to explore is just right. Don't expect a huge space though, but it was alright for me because I had a good time exploring their many books available inside.

8th Dimension Comics: what do users think?
Diego Llanos: Nice comics selection
Alex Rimmer: Good selection, Owner is a great guy to deal with
J Starr: Legit shop, good selection and above and beyond service from friendly staff. This is the kind of shop that gives brick and mortar shops a good name.
anthropodermic: Packed to the rafters with comic books and graphic novels. The friendly staff were super helpful, recommending some titles pertinent to my interests and digging up back issues I was looking for.
Brea H: Edited review: owner’s response proves my point: rude. I’d recommend Big Pete’s or Golden Age instead - both were super polite AND had copies available!Original review: Same issue as all the other low reviews - rude staff. Came here at 10am (since Apple Maps says that’s when they open), realized that was wrong so came back at 11. Guy shows up late to open and is rude to me when I ask politely if I should come back, literally looks me up and down. Tried to get a comic that dropped today but this store sold EVERY copy to regulars via pre-order and had none available for launch. Yuck.
Chris P: Not bad a bit messy inside not the friendless guy I was just browsing not even sure when to look - but hey has tons iof comics!
Jordan J. Rivera: The best comic book store in Vancouver.
Luff Puff: We often visited this comic book store when we were on main street. One day after lunch, we popped in and the owner was talking to his friend. We just browsed around. there is a table with comics on it. The owner then berated us for looking through it even though there was no indication that the comics weren't for sale or weren't for us to look through. If you don't want to sell it. put up a sign or put it away! Then there was a moment of silence as the owner's friend was reacting to how rude the owner was.We left promptly. It seems like this place is beloved by most people but we were treated rudely.
Sandra Carter: Entering the place reminded me of the comic bookstore of the Big Bang Theory. I love comics too so I enjoyed going to this place as well. You can find a few interesting series to choose from and you can find people inside enjoying their time at the place.
Yanne Me: cool little place. very friendly and helpful staff.
Adam White: Lots of comics.
David Yates: A little packed with boxes of comics but it is the most efficient use of space even if it is a little hard to browse. Picked up a couple of hidden gem items, and my friend picked up like 100 copies of Archie comics; so a wide selection of styles.
Markus Jacobson: Great store great guys
otto matthias: A comic book shop for the fans! The guy running it really knows his stuff, and goes deep when you have a question. It reminds me of the book store at the beginning of The Neverending Story. Not huge (although selection appears ample, in good condition and well organized), a bit cluttered, and definitely not corporate. It feels like a quiet bubble in which time is slow and thoughts are uninhibited.
Andrew Epstein: Helpful and informative owner (I think) in small but well-stocked shop at 8th and Main. Will return for books, toys, comics and comic collecting supplies.
Joel Chico: Best place for all your comic needs!
Malika A: 8th Dimensions comics is a pretty cool comic book shop. It’s on the small side but they have a decent amount of stock in the store. That being said, me and my boyfriend had a really negative experience regarding the service. The owner (or at least I’m assuming he was the owner) was rather rude and made both of us feel embarrassed and unwelcome, when we were just trying to pick up a comic book. Still I do believe it’s worth supporting small business when you get the chance, I just hope you have a better experience there than we did.
Scott Watts: Small store but still a awesome !! Friendly owner !! Check it out !
C A: This a great shop. Owner is super friendly and gives great recommendations. Seems to really appreciate his customers as well!
Vegan Jeffrey: Friendly and knowledgeable staff, very comfortable to shop at. Walk right in and you can find new comics published by DC, Marvel, Image, Dark horse, BOOM, and all the other indie publishers. A section of the store is dedicated to local creators, so if you want to support them, definitely check it out. They also sell status, action figures and other collectibles.
Chandy Chan: They look like their still getting the store set up, but the amount of back issues look great. During the summer construction is hard to park. But still worth the trip

Jordan Holman: I Keep missing my buddy Patrick when I go in. But it's always a great experience when I go in.
Star Lord * Avenger: Very nice shop. Came in from out of town. Prices are a bit high but service and the store were awesome.
Kathleen Aflekia: Bit too low lighting for my eye sight to read titles easily which is kinda important for a book shop but other than that the service is great and the workers are very accommodating with orders for items not in stalk.
Tyler G: No place like it downtown. Great selection of comics and Collectibles. Friendly staff there to help you with any questions.
Ponda Baba: Been shopping here for over 25 years. Great back issue bins and glass counters in the back for your pricier comics. I filled some holes today and discovered they also have a decent hockey card section at a very very good price. This box of Allure is easily 120-130$ elsewhere. All your comic, toy, figurine needs in the heart of Vancouver. Thank God for Golden Age.
Shaye Nielsen: Wonderful selection of back issue at a reasonable price.
Marcelo Meirelles: Amazing store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.
Mind Full: Great selection of comics and graphic novels, very helpful and friendly staff, support your local comic shop!

NSP Pelletier: Great place to bring your inner nerd out! Love the shop.
Brea H: I absolutely love buying comics here! But I'll admit, I don't go as much anymore. That tall boy with the spider-man tattoos is never there. He was so knowledgable and seemed really enthusiastic about helping me find new things. And he's cute. Where'd he go? Bring back spider-boy!
Mary Pat Thompson: Comprehensive store for superhero paraphanalia and comics.
Warren Woodhurst: I've spent a lot of time and money here and I don't regret it in the slightest. Great selection, friendly staff. If you like comics, you ought to check it out.
Karen Lee: Since 1979! Golden Age is a classic, must-visit every time we are in the area!
Jonathan Clark: A good selection of north American comics and japanese manga. And if they have don't have something you want talk to the staff and they may be able to order it for you.

Arthur Grom: Cool place.. .. Its Just that they dont know what they have and what not... After a few minutes of watching alone I found what i wanted/needed and staff was suprised that they have it.

logikwaffles: Wonderful selection, got a transformers figure I’ve been looking for at a very affordable price. Amazing customer service, worker was very nice :)

Sean Lum: Great local business. Always has good stock on a variety of collectibles. They can hold items for you if you call ahead, but don't abuse this feature.
Vegan Jeffrey: A cool place for toys and comics lover! At the comics section you'll find a wide range of collection from graphic novels to the weekly published comic books, and close to the entrance you'll find series in bundles on sale, so if you're new to the comic book world, buying a set might be a good idea! Toys section is mostly action figures: Marvel, DC, G.I. Joe, Power Rangers, also monster movies characters and other classic movie characters like Ripley from Alien. If you happen to visit Metro town, check out this place! It's just five minute walk away from skytrain station.
myles dela cruz: cool
Ryan Anderson: Cool place, bit smaller than some time others but good no less.
Breanne Lewis: I've known the staff for at least 5 years now, and they're super knowledgable. Has an open, airy layout—it may be the most spacious and tidy comic shop in Vancouver. Tuesday-Thursday they're a little quieter and it's nice to work or play games at the tables in the back, they don't mind at all as long as you don't leave a mess. Also it's generally great for browsing, asking questions, and pre-ordering! Pricing is probably the most fair I've seen compared to other shops, too :)

White Dwarf Books, Dead Write Books: what do users think?
Patrick Swan: The older sister unit came to town for a visit and picked this book store a specific destination. Although I did not personally purchase anything, the owners were on point in their recommendations for everything my sister brought up as a point of interest. If you like science fiction or fantasy, this is the bookstore you want to go to. Also, I love that dog.
Warren Woodhurst: Good selection and if they dont have something they're more than happy to order things in for you. If you like Sci Fi or Fantasy, this is a great place to shop.
Nico Smith: An absolutely massive inventory of mass market paperback fantasy and science fiction books. Holy cow. You’ll find hardbacks in the New Releases section.
N Fitz: Excellent science fiction and fantasy selection. One of the best in the entire country.I make a point of stopping by when I'm in Vancouver.Lots of new stuff. But if you look closely at their many shelves, you'll seen many older and long out-of-print paperbacks as well!
Hxnnah UωU: Very nice people! Super good books
Wesley Prahalad: Amazing friendly staff. Great energy in the store itself. They really helped with some recommendations . If youre a speculative fiction fan u gotta visit !
Camille Dinesen: Love this store, I have been going for most of my life, they have a great selection and a great dog.
Jean-Francois Lacroix: Nice place! Lot of book! Really nice place for science-fiction, fantasy and mystery novel! The owners are great!
Ashley Lambert-Maberly: I've been going for years (they used to have two separate locations, one for mystery, one for fantasy/SF before they merged) and wow, what a wonderful shop! The owners have an amazing memory, they will get to know you and your taste—they can usually recall "you liked so-and-so, didn't you?" and make recommendations for new books based on your tastes and not necessarily theirs. They'll even steer you away from books they don't think you'll like (although they aren't really losing a sale; I imagine most customers are like me, and buy something else instead). It's small but mighty—filled with volumes—and there's always something new to discover. A favourite place in town (if I go more than four weeks without popping in, I make a point of a special trip!)
Olivia Dreisinger: Really amazing place. So much character to the space and the owners are so nice. If you want a book they don't have in stock, they easily order it in for you. Super communicate and efficient.
conskeez novaskeez: I went in randomly because I was working out front. Gave him a little rundown of what I like to read, and he pointed me in the right direction. I hadn't read books In years and now I can't put them down 🤘
Brenda Carre: This is a great bookstore with friendly and helpful staff.
Wanda Coallier: They have a great selection of books and can order in just about anything. I’m lucky I live so close by, I have been going in for a new book every other week it feels like. Lots of newly released and popular books on display to help you find something new.
David Tindall: This is one of the treasures of the west side of Vancover!
Dyllan Goldstein: Amazing selection if sci-fi and fantasy. Almost all my favourite reads in the past decade have come from the owners. I reccomend this store to all my friends and family.Plus, what's better than getting a good book and a cinibon from around the corner? As a side note they seem to take COVID seriously, so only a few people with masks are allowed in at a time. Nice to see the owners being safe
Barry Simunovic: These guys are the best, awesome selection and they can order in anything you want. Super friendly!
Heather Babcock: Great selection for mystery and sci fi/fantasy with knowledgable owners.
robert rothon: Knowledgeable owners. Excellent stock in both genres. Small retail space with narrow aisles, so masks strongly recommended in these COVID times.
Johnny Doubles: Always very helpful with great suggestions!
Jim McPherson: A reliable source for new and recent sci Fi, fantasy and mystery novels and collections. Can order anything in the field. Knowledgeable and friendly. Carries a selection of phantacea mythos publicatios
Adam: Great selection for such a little store! I was supremely impressed. I’ll absolutely be back once I’ve devoured the books I bought on my most recent visit.
