Routes Car Rental - Vancouver International Airport (YVR) Off Terminal: what do users think?
Maddy Scout: Horrible service, waiting an hour for a shuttle from the airport and waited another hour to get rental. Don’t recommend.
Sarmad Rahman: TOTALLY SCAMMERSFirst of all, the pick up time was at 8 am there was no employee until 9am. Then they came and opened up.Secondly, they will take deposit of 1500$. AndThere is a lot of hidden policies with this rental. Everywhere it says unlimited km but when we were finalizing they said they will give 200km. We were really mad after long waiting and then they tried calling their manager and gave us 300km.Such a worst service. Do not scam with the hard working people’s time and money 😢
Sean Bohle: The shuttle to pick us up at the airport was a bit delayed and they could use some smaller vehicles. Nothing smaller than a Dodge Durango was available to me.Otherwise, it was a good experience. Getting the car and dropping it off was quick and easy.
Wei Yeh: I highly don’t recommend renting a car here as a LOCAL DRIVER. The company has a strange policy, which is very unfriendly to local. In addition to not providing insurance, there is also a mileage limit for local residents.I’ve planned to rent the car due to long road trip, so the mileage was my only consideration. I didn’t even realize my rental would have a limited mileage until I was picking up and told by the staff. The staff said they can’t do anything about the cancellation or refund, cuz I booked thru the third-party. I need to contact them for the cancellation.I book the reservation thru Priceline which is the third-party company. The agent said I have to read the rules carefully, which is right. But the rules wasn’t clear stated on the payment webpage, you need to click on the link till the rules pop out.Overall, it was a very bad experience, unhelpful, non refundable, five days rent expense just gone.
Dude: SCAMMERS...THEY ARE! DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.CHARGE YOU EXTR UNKOWN MONEY ON YOUR CREDIT WHICH YOU HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET BACK!..ALSO, VERY RUDE CUSTOMER CARE LADY!
Alex Normandin: Great rates & lovely staff. The reason for only 3 stars is that they are usually understaffed (I’ve rented 4+ times with them and the staff seem overworked & stressed usually). Other than that, it’s a great spot. Arrive early as there is usually a wait and line.
Santiago Mateus: NEVER use this car rental. They don't give you the car and the don't give the money back. SCAM
Mard: I had an overall good experience here. There werent a lot of people when I picked up the car, so the process was very quick. During returning, we only had to wait 10 mins. There was free shuttle back and from the airport running every 15 min or so. Would be a good idea to tell them you need to be picked up once you arrive at the airport. The reps there were courteous and professional. You don't have to purchase their collision insurance if you are covered by your credit card. They will have a form for you to sign the waiver. everything was a breeze really, not sure if we were lucky or what. The only hiccup was that I ordered a compact SUV, but was given a full size SUV (thats the only car they had, I was told). Wasnt that big of any issue for me, but I could imagine it being an issue for people who perhaps need a small car due to tight parking space. Still would have preferred getting exactly what I am expecting, as the surprise could easily go the other way too.
Nagendra Hamsala: Excellent!!! PAUL was outstanding from airport too rental area.Rajpreet received cordially and made the Checkin process so smooth.Mahek closed the deal also quickly keeping on kind I have to catch the flight.
Bev Foster: Everything of our rental was great, even got upgrade. Thanks
Magda Waszul: Great car, service, price.
Thusy Kamalanathan: terrible rental service. please STAY AWAY.i booked my rental via eurocar for a set price and when i arrived at the rental location last summer they came up with another price. I had to pull up my email record to show them what the price was and after that they argeed to it. I paid the original invoice amount and that should have been that. This past january i received an additional charge from routes for about $300 saying there was an owing balance, claiming that i still owed money on the transaction.the amount i paid at the counter is what was written down on my invoice. I also emailed customer service the invoice to show them that everything was paid correctly. When i asked about what the additional charge was, they started showing me an invoice that showed a greater amount than what was given to me. The numbers were not adding up and the tax amounts werent adding up either on this new invoice. I repeatly asked the company for a valid explanation for the additional claim and gave me zero answers. The customer service was terrible and completely unhelpful. no one at Routes has any idea of what theyre doing and i will be staying away from all routes locations going forward and you should too.Edit: Theyre telling me to reach out to the customer service but i've already done that and they were zero help, i dont imagine anything is going to change from that.
Jasjit Hayer: Great experience while renting a SUV from them. Shuttle was at the airport for pickup within 10 minutes after call. At the pickup /drop off customer service from Sandeep and Raj was excellent. Vehicle was neat and clean I will certainly rent car from them on my next visit to Vancouver.
Nate Vezeau: Great Experience, got a free upgrade and shuttle was quick to pick me up at the airport.Big Shout Out to Paul, excellent customer service!!! Would Recommend!
Susan Rettaler: Car was an upgrade and had every bell and whistle imaginable. Service was great. Windshield was very very much in need of a good cleaning.
Cantrust Liu: GREAT SERVICES
Khush Assi: Smooth experience from beginning to end. Mr Iqbaljit Singh (Manager) went out of his way to assist us (even guided us for our trip too!). Good/brand new Vehicles, competitive prices too. Excellent customer experience overall. Would definitely recommend!
M B: Had a great experience renting an SUV from routes for a family road trip. Prices are fair and the vehicle was in great condition. Will definitely recommend to others.
Arjun Srivastava: Routes exceeded every expectation we had. From the minute we were picked up by Harman to the moment Paul handed us our keys we were treated with utmost respect and sincerity. Paul worked hard to get us a brand new 2023 Jeep Wrangler Sahara (amazing for exploring the outdoors) at an unbeatable price. We will 100% be using Routes again, and cannot thank Paul and Harmon enough for their friendly, efficient, and honest customer service.
annie mccoll: Excellent experience, quick and easy rental. Car in great shape, Paul was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 would rent again.
amin ahoora: I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with what I can only describe as the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Despite there being only two people ahead of me in the line, I was made to wait for over an hour before speaking with a representative. To make matters worse, the cars on offer were dirty and appeared to have been neglected for some time. Even more frustrating was the fact that they did not accept the car that I had rented through their website, causing me significant inconvenience and additional expenses. Overall, my experience with this company was extremely disappointing, and I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Forbidden Vancouver Walking Tours: what do users think?
Sabrina Weber: We did the "lost souls of gastown" tour with Sandra...she, and therefor the whole tour was GREAT! Interesting and entertaining at same time..absolutely worth every canadian dollar 👌
Digpal Singh: I did the “Lost Souls of Gastown”. Tracey is amazing storyteller, she made the whole experience even greater than I expected it to be. She didn’t break the character throughout the tour and kept everyone engaged with humour and emotions. Her speech was clear and didn’t felt like somebody is just reading out lines.
Esmé Kovacs: The Forbidden Vancouver Really Gay History Walking Tour with tour guide Glenn was an incredibly powerful and moving experience. Glenn is an expert storyteller who makes the stories of 2SLGBTQ+ people and communities come alive. You will laugh, cry & learn so much. It really made me feel connected to the city's past and the myriad ways this continues to impact and intersect with our present. I fully recommend this tour, it was such good value.
Reni Lavigne: Absolutely amazing!! I love history and this tour tells a lot!! Keep it up!!
Rey: Rachel aka. Sarah is such a great storyteller. With speech difficulty, I can barely understand the entire story unless I can see her lips. However, her acting is quite touching, I almost cry when it comes to the moment when Sarah cries at the door which separates her and her ill sister.
Jody Wandrei: Stuart was amazing!!
Josephine Lai: Very enjoyable experience! Learned a lot about Vancouver's past. I highly recommend the tour.
Tara McConnell: I had a great experience on this tour! Our guide Glenn was very knowledgeable about the city, and told us many interesting stories while we walked about Downtown on the Monumental Scandals Tour.
Nicolás Peña: We did the lost souls tour with Stewart. We were a group of three and two of us were running a couple of minutes late, and despite knowing this Stewart started a couple of minutes early and we had to find the group at the second stop. This really dampened my mood as it felt unprofessional. Plus Stewart lost a big group of people midway through the tour. The tour also included a part where they made us jaywalk just for the sake of a lame joke... why?? The storytelling was good for the most part although the stops were often in the uglier streets.
Hichem Bouandel: That tour was awesome. Sandra the story teller was excellent and entirely talented the way she told us the stories. I would highly recomment that programme for anyone who is planning to visit Vancouver.
Rose Gordon: What a great walk & talk! Informative, saucy historical scandals with such sensitivity across cultures & politics. Thanks you.
Victoria Valiño: I did THE LOST SOULS OF GASTOWN TOUR with a friend, and we immensely enjoyed it. We had a great storyteller guiding the group. Thank you, Sandra!
Holly-Ann Cromarty: So awesome! They are really great at what they do at FVWT. Thank you so much to our guide Tracey you're a legend!!
Kailash Mishra: Was an amazing experience and would highly recommend it to anyone who’s a local or visiting Vancouver alike.
VNC Newsletter: The guide was delightful; informative, her characterization was perfect and very sensitive to residents who were experiencing some difficulties
Pammi Somal: Confirmation Code: 559BA0.My friends and I enjoyed the lost souls of gastown tour. Rachel was fantastic & so informative and ofcourse a very good actress. Got to know Vancouver better.Thank you.
Heather Smigel: A fun way to experience Gas Town. 6 of us from the valley enjoyed the tour and seeing things we hadn’t seen before! Emmett was in character the whole time!
Eve Layman: Rob was great! We had a great time and learned a lot. Would recommend!
Bob and Lyse: We did the Monumental Scandals Tour with Rachel and were very impressed by her polished, entertaining, and informative tour. We are locals but learned a lot of interesting & fun history about Vancouver. Highly recommend!
Reed Kierce: Our wonderfully spooky guide, Sarah, took us on a dark and mysterious journey into the late 1800s, where we learned, laughed and even cried. I’ll never forget Sarah’s plight, and I’ll be sure to pay tribute the next time I’m walking near the Sunny Side Hotel
Lana Tari: What a fun tour definitely loved learning about gastown. Thank you.

Vancouver Seawall: what do users think?
kim Yap: Visited on WeekendMore
Guinevre V: a relaxing bike ride with beaches, parks, and a lighthouse along the routeWait time No wait …More
Joel Semeniuk: Visited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended NoMore
Orlando Castillo: Nice place
Alvin Virya: Great place for a walk, extended a long waterfront path around the Stanley Park, which also offered a great skyline view of Vancouver. Went here at night and the illumination could have been improved, but definitely offering good view towards Vancouver Convention Centre and downtown areaVisited on Weekday Wait time No wait Reservation recommended No …More
Rocio: Maravilloso y espectacular, no te lo pierdas!
Bernd Schulze: Vancouver hat so viel zu bieten. Im Stanley Park kann man ohne Probleme einen ganzen Tag verbringen und die Seele baumeln lassen.
Google User (M. B.): Entitled cyclists, joggers, and others can really ruin what could be a great stroll
Out The Window Productions: Great place
Irina Reznikova: This is the best coastline for me. An uninterrupted trail around the peninsula that can be walked and cycled. Lots of places to relax and be active. Lovely gardens and meadows. Stunning ocean view.
Felix Wang: Underwhelming, especially compared to the rest of Stanley Park.
Michael Levitt: Pretty cool area, was low tide so less birdlife around. We did however see a couple of bald eagles and some pretty wood ducks.
Leon D H: Great peaceful place, awesome to rent a bike and do all the Seawall
Kishan Geeganage: The Vancouver Seawall is a must-visit attraction that offers stunning views of the city, mountains, and ocean. The 22-kilometer path is perfect for walking, jogging, or cycling, and it's accessible year-round. The scenery is breathtaking, and visitors can enjoy various parks, beaches, and landmarks along the way, such as Stanley Park, English Bay, and the Burrard Inlet. The Seawall is well-maintained, and there are plenty of rest areas and amenities, including washrooms, water fountains, and food vendors. However, the path can get crowded during peak times, and some areas may be challenging for cyclists due to heavy pedestrian traffic. Overall, the Vancouver Seawall is a must-do activity for anyone visiting Vancouver, offering a perfect blend of nature, history, and urban charm.
Malena: Favourite running spot! You can’t go to Vancouver without visiting the Seawall.
Yvette Choi: Beautiful place!
Santiago Delgadillo: Fun place to rent bikes and ride around if you’re a tourist!
Sandra Bonds: Beautiful
Hilary Tsui: Beautiful scenery, perfect for a stroll.
Manu Goyal: My favourite place in Vancouver! ❤️

Pacific Spirit Regional Park: what do users think?
Xin Chen: 温哥华市内一处著名的徒步公园,森林仍保持原生状态,是很受温哥华人喜爱的自然公园
Anita Huang: 森林公園空氣好,樹林多休闲散步好地方。
Daniel Middler: Don't stare at the trail while walking...? Look up at all the trees makes for a relaxing walk!!!
Joseph Chang: Nice forest. Trails leading to the beach. Nice walks. Dog heaven too.
WILLIAM REN: 10K run in the trail ! Sunshine day!
Patricia Lafontaine: Beautiful spacious park with many trails, few people. Definitely doesn't feel like you are in the city!
Hassan Mk: Amazing place 😍😍😍Highly recommend this place to go for date 😃😊Even you may bring your barbecue to have lunch or dinner 😊
T Richmond: Beautiful place to be away from the city.
Michelle: My favourite forest walk. Lots of off leash trails for dogs and lots of trails for cyclists.
Jia Yun: Relatively easy hike and quiet on a weekday. Love the tranquil of the the forest and also the adorable friendly off leash dogs that I saw at certain parts of the trails where dogs are allowed to go off leash! For those who are afraid of dogs, do take note.
Cinematic Street: Pacific Spirit Park is as beautiful as it is big.  I only explored a small part of it on the northwest corner, near UBC Wesbrook Village.  The condos beside the park, on Bennington Road, are 20 stories high (I helped build them) and they are just a little taller than the trees.  Those trees are huge, to say the least. There are miles of trails if you really want to do some serious walking.  I walked down the Douglas Fir Trail and then came back on the Sword Fern Trail.  It was a really nice day for a walk, with lots of sunshine.  But it was also a Saturday and the trails were busy, so keep that in mind. Some trails are walking only, which is very nice, because then you don’t have to deal with all the bikes and other wheeled devices.  However, one thing you can’t avoid is the small army of dogs which seem to outnumber the people at times.  Most of the dogs are off-leash so be prepared for a lot of dog encounters.I got jumped on by a very excited dog and was thoroughly sniffed and slobbered on, but I didn’t get bitten.  Which is a good start to any canine relationship, and most human ones too.  I actually thought the dog was happy to see me and I was feeling pretty good about myself until the owner said the dog was just looking for treats.  That was humbling because I got rejected by a dog and now I have muddy paw prints on my jacket to remind me that I’m a loser.  It was a “Curb Your Enthusiasm” moment.Overall the Pacific Spirit Park experience was positive and I think everyone should check it out.  If you’re into photography then you should definitely check it out because there’s a lot to see.  It’s really nice to have green spaces like this in the city and we need more.  They’re good for your physical and mental health, and good for the planet as well.Dog-friendliness: Dogs everywhere.
Jennifer Chu: Love that this regional park is in my own back yard. The only concern would be for dog lovers bringing their dogs to run unleashed. Be careful of the excess of cyclists as they seem to take more demand over the trails
Yogendra Godbole: Amazing park with great easy trails! Unfortunately folks don't follow leash rules so be careful with big dogs. Fairly busy during weekends and unsafe during the dark - so go with some company/ big group.
Olga Yermolenko: Pacific Spirit Regional Park is a true gem of the Canadian landscape. Located in the heart of Vancouver, this expansive park offers a stunning natural oasis that's perfect for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. From the moment you step foot in Pacific Spirit Regional Park, you'll be surrounded by lush forests, tranquil streams, and a diverse array of wildlife. The park's many trails offer endless opportunities for hiking, running, and exploring, with routes that wind through the forest and along the coast.Pacific Spirit Regional Park is an absolute must-see. With its pristine natural beauty, incredible hiking trails, and commitment to conservation, this park is truly one of Canada's greatest treasures.
ken Hong: 空气清新自然、森林美!
Punit Kumar Jha: Very beautiful trails right in the city!
Joyce F: One of my favourite haunts.
Connie Koo: Pacific Spirit Regional Park is a beautiful park to visit because of all the old growth forest. The most common tree I noticed was the Western Hemlock with some decaying redwoods in the center. I mostly went on the Hemlock and Salish trails and I found those trails to be easy snd straightforward. There's a sign posting at every form in the road and the trails are very clearly paved. There's even large garbage cans for dog waste at certain points of the park. The only con is that even if a trail requires leashes, dogs throughout this park don't wear leashes. The owners I've seen do manage to keep their dog from running up to other visitors.Dog-friendliness: This is a very dog friendly park, you can't go ten minutes without seeing a dog and their owner running or scrolling through the park.
Victoria Collins: Come here frequently. Very accessible and easy to navigate routes.
Clare Wang: So lovely and peaceful despite meeting alot of ppl/dogs, theres plenty of trail to spread out. Although some parts were quite icy given the snow storm a few says before so be aware!

Great Canadian Railtour Company Ltd.: what do users think?
Tom Bryski: Critical:ValueThis company cancelled our trip due to the travel restrictions because of COVID-19. We had paid in full but, unlike airlines, they refused to refund our money. They claim, despite the original agreement, they did this to stay in business. Ripping-off people won’t help your business.
gsanda1: We paid in FULL for a trip with this company. Great Canadian Railtour cancelled our trip a month before it was scheduled. We simply asked for a refund, but Great Candadian Railtour absolutely refused to give us any of our money back. This is flat out wrong and unethical, to say the least, not to mention it is theft when you don't provide product or service to the customer, but keep all of their money. Shame on Great Canadian Railtour. The greed in this world is overwhelming.
Maureen R Baca: The most outstanding train adventure we've ever had! The views were breathtaking! The food was buautiful to look at, delicious to the taste and perfectly portioned. The staff exceeded our expectations and were a complete delight. If you enjoy train travel, do not miss a Rocky Mountaineer Train Adventure!

Rocky Mountaineer - Head Office: what do users think?
Bri C: Nice building 🏢
Craig Brown: 5 stars doesn't do justice to the level of service that accompanied this amazing journey through the mountains and canyons of BC & AB. We rode the train from Banff to Vancouver (via Kamloops) and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The scenery was great, but as a BC resident I was also surprised how much I learned about my own province from the commentary added by the Rocky Mountaineer staff.Speaking of the staff, they brought so much to the experience. We had the same team of 4 from start to finish, and it's easy to rattle off their names - John, Chloe, Billy and Robert were great people who were always accommodating, and brought real personality to the experience. An unforgettable trip, I highly recommend it!
Brett M: What an absolutely amazing experience! We did a two-day trip from Banff back to Vancouver (home). The crew (John, Chloe, Robert and Billy) were ALL amazing. They take care of you from the moment you hop on the train, until your trip is completed.I 100% recommend this once in a lifetime experience to everyone!!
Jason Drew: What an amazing experience! I never could have imagined how beautiful our province and country is!The staff was beyond great! The food was incredible! Thank you to John, Chloe, Robert and Billy our service staff…..you were awesome!
Sharon-Ann Tracy: Thanks to the team at Rocky Mountaineer for a great trip. Loved the friendly and helpful reception at the station in Vancouver, all the friendly waves and interesting stories along the way. The customer service was great. Meals were unexpectedly delicious and beautifully served. It is a great way to see the Rockies. The scenery is spectacular. The trip involves 2 long days so I would suggest taking an inflatable foot stool if you have trouble with swelling of lower legs and feet. While the seats have foot rests and are super comfy, the foot rest doesn't quite raise up enough.
Parth Patel: Great
