J Lum: Came here for lunch and what I can say is WOW. Blew my mind how such a nice environment this place offers. Nice floor to ceiling windows and food is great. It's located inside pan pacific hotel and parking there is quite pricy but I lucked out with finding a broken parking meter.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Florence Wong: I was here celebrating Mother's day on the weekend. We made the right decision to come one week before otherwise we wouldn't have been seated by the window. The view of coal harbour and the snow topped mountains were incomparable and serene. The ambiance and decor was also excellent. Our server was attentive and welcoming. We ordered the $65 pp high tea service which came with a small selection of tea. Certain choices required additional cost. We also ordered a la cart caviar. The variety and portions of food was perfect. We even had left overs!I would've given 5 stars if the tea selection was larger.Overall I'd recommend visiting this restaurant and would definitely come back for other special occasions.
Ali Nematollahi: We went to Five Sails for dinner. First time at Five Sails. My girlfriend has a number of food allergies and the restaurant was very very very accommodating! Food was great, atmosphere was very pleasant.Best of all was our server, Raymond. He was incredibly attentive and a gentleman! He was literally the best server I've ever had to deal with in Vancouver!!We both really enjoyed the restaurant! We will definitely go back again.Parking: Lots of parking lots aroundDietary restrictions: They are very accommodation to dietary restrictions
Juno: Unbelievable view and food food .Felt like most dishes were Japanese and western fusionRecommended dishes Sable Fish …More
Joe Kan: Kei the server only in Canada for 6 months from Japan was the best! Knowledgeable and very friendly. My mom's birthday was a blast! Food was on point too!Dietary restrictions: They give you options that accommodates your health style.
david procter: I accompanied my wife and mother to the Five Sails for Afternoon Tea on a Sunday afternoon. What a FABULOUS experience. From the GM Jason to his Greeter and to Jordan our server The staff was warm. Friendly. Knowledgeable and attentive. And hugely welcoming. Thanks so much. The tea started with a wonderful glass of bubbly. Followed by tasty tea I tried the Nutcracker black tea. Flavours of hazelnut and vanilla. Yummy. And the food which followed was exquisite Presentation alone earned outstanding marks. But the variety and flavours and textures of the offerings was outstanding. I even tried some of the caviar Bit of a rookie on that but it was very enjoyable. Definitely worth trying. Neat taste sensationsJason. Thanks so much for hosting the three of us. And to you and your staff. Our sincere thanks. We shall return !!!Cheers. David.
Randy Brown: Ambiance was fantastic, service (Michael) was great and food was extremely good!
Josh Bateman: We went to Five Sails to celebrate our 3rd year anniversary. Our table was ready as soon as we arrived and the hostess accommodated my reservation requests and gave us a great table with the most amazing view of the harbour. Shawn was our Waiter who was very friendly and attentive all evening. Shawn went above and beyond to make sure we both had a memorable anniversary. They surprised us at the end with a happy anniversary dessert. I would highly recommend Five Sails!
CHANEL SATTARA: If I could give this amazing place, view, and the exceptional service more than 5 stars I absolutely would. This the was the best dining experience I've ever had, and I'm a major foodie so that says a lot. The view is breathtaking, the service is so personal and warm, they also have VEGAN options. The drinks and the sorbetto are exceptional. I would come over and over if I still lived in Vancouver. Thank you so much Jason 3
Sahiba Speaks: Honestly this place definitely impressed me. Their customer service was above and beyond. Very loving and make you feel more than comfortable and accepted. Everyone was treated with the utmost respect and love. The customer service they gave us was just incredibly beautiful to the point where I was simply touched. We need more places like you. Thank you for treating us with love and giving us an experience where we want to come back and tell others how amazing you are. The food was fabulous and so were the drinks. I am in love with the drinks... gorgeous... The atmosphere and the energy are just breathtaking. You will leave feeling apreaciated and like a king. We deserve the best and that is exactly what you will get here with class and luxery.

Mark Epik: Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts and make sure you take advantage of the cocktail menu.
C AnW: good place for dating.
Sabrina L: I absolutely love dinner but recently I came for a baby shower and it was just alright.$65 pp for high tea was a steal, but it was just okay, my favourite was the lobster biegnet.Service though was mediocre at best.We were missing a chair when we arrivedWe had to ask our server 3 x for the tea menu and she seemed not pleased when we didn't all order alcoholWe had order sparkling water but most restaurants would ask before opening the next model but she did not, she literally would top us up after every sip, before you knew it, we were 5 bottles deep between 5 people (wasted full glasses at the end)Asked her twice to take away our food and her timing was just really off for everythingWas less than pleased with her serviceParking: Parking lot was fullTried to valet but there was noneEnded up work street parking $8/hrWe parked for 3 hrs for a total $24

愛因: Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5More
Teresa Ford: AMAZING SERVICE, AMAZING FOOD, LOVELY PEOPLE, you will not be disappointed if you go here.
Janell Natekar: Food: I had been bragging to my family and friends about Le Crocodile since the first time I went there, so it was a bit sad to see some of them disappointed by their meals. My partner wasn't impressed by the large piece of cauliflower in a literal pool of olive oil for his appetizer, or the spinach drenched in oil with his salmon, to the point he had difficulties with eating it. My mother ordered a ribeye medium rare, and it came mostly well done to nearly overcooked in sections. There were a few misses for sure with some of the meals. But the others were just as rich and excellent as I remembered, and their specials were not to be missed! Here was the best of what we had:Appetizers: They had a white asperagus that v had been imported with a little seafood topping and sauce; my mother complained that the portion was small for the price, but the flavours were out of this world and I hadn't experienced anything quite like this sweet and savoury dish. My escargots were delicious as usual, and this is one of my favourite places for them (though there was a general concensus that there can never be enough garlic). The frogslegs were so delicious with a little sauce that really made then. The deep fried lobster was delicious; I'd never have thought to do that with such a delicacy and it was very good! Some must tries, all of them!Main dishes: I highly recommend that you get their special on the venison of you're going there soon! The sauce was rich and the meat was so tender! The veal was also an excellent choice from their main menu and had a thick and creamy sauce as well. I personally enjoyed the lamb shank and the truffle gnoochi, a strong rich flavour and very filling.Dessert: they started us with a small pear palate cleanser that was so delicious! And then finished with a chocolate crocodile that was very professional. I also had the meringue souffle with creme anglais. It was so nice, fluffy, and comparatively light after a rich meal, I highly recommend it!White Wine: I generally love a very sweet and smooth white wine, and their gerwurtztraminer hit the spot! I'm picky and this was so delicious, several others at the table also picked it up.Overall, if I wanted to save up and plan a special event here again, I would! Really delicious, still one of my favourite places I've eaten! Be prepared for the price, but I nearly had to be rolled out of there by the end of the meal. Very satisfying.Service: We had a large group of people booked in advance, and the table was ready for us as soon as we walked up. Please note: the cost of the reservation funds will be returned directly to your credit card, not removed from the bill the table, so you can more easily book through one person and pay separately. They were excellent with their service, and meeting requests for a caraffe of water for the table and replacement small plates and removing an alcoholic dressing on one their pallette cleansers. One drink was missed later on in the night, but they were good to apologize and made sure not to include it on the bill. They managed odd pairs of people paying and a restaurant gift card without any issue. They did an excellent job overall, and were a real pleasure to deal with.Parking: we parked at the lot across the street under the Scotiabank theater, about $8 for the evening after 6pm. Good for a carpool and a full evening.
Doretha Son: The wait staff was very nice. They were training some new people and were busy, but they made sure we were taken care of promptly. The food was good.
Kev N: Incredible food, service and ambiance. Always a must visit when in Vancouver with the familyScallop and lobster tempura dish is a must try. Duck with fois gras and pan seared scallops are so so good! Love the white asparagus special as well. The frites, pear sorbet and crocodile chocolate bites afterwards is the cherry on top of the whole experienceYou truly feel the traditional french dining experience from start to finish. Great wine selection as well and they are very accommodating
Alex L: Great experience, I definitely will come more.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Kipp Fisher: The meals are always wonderful. The steak--prepard blu--was brilliant. The server was a wonderful as the food.Recommended dishes Veal Medallions, Shoestring Fries, Grilled Prime Rib with Bernaise Sauce, Lobster Bisque …More
Jeff: Excellent French cuisine served in a beautiful setting. Try the table side filleted Dover Sol, it was delicious! Also the cream of mushroom soup was very tasty.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Gregory Feder: Simply the least pretentious and finest dining Vancouver has to offer. Always a pleasure. As impressive as their cuisine is the fact that their servers memorize daily specials that take them minutes to relay. Where I choose to celebrate my birthdays. Try the lobster tempura and scallop endive salad, it's superb.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pan Seared Foie Gras with Sea Scallops, Veal Medallions, Shoestring Fries, Lobster Bisque …More
Sasha K: Le crocodile is a true 5 star fine dining experience; the table settings and greetings into the restaurant alone are always immaculate. From every detail of the service to food, dining here is always top tier. I truly appreciate the wine list and their sommeliers experience in serving and pairing the wines with dinner. The food is also always as exceptional as the service and atmosphere. The foie gras crème brûlée is a standout as well as the frogs legs, escargot, and wagyu steak. Though, all dishes are exceptional and make traditional French delicacies seem more approachable. My only critique from my most recent visit would be the accompanying toast to the steak tartare. The bread was very reminiscent of sliced white bread toast and was not the most enjoyable. A nice crostini or crouton would have been better in my opinion. All in all, le crocodile is a standout in Vancouver’s fine dining scene and a must try.
Natalia Rabin: Very well. Delicious dishes and excellent service on all levels from entrance to table strand sommelierFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Lazarus Shaak: Had an absolutely wonderful night here with my family! Going somewhere like this is so, so special for me, as it's not something I can usually afford. The servers (especially Tim!) were so attentive, generous, and friendly. Food was just amazing. I really recommend this place for great food, wine, atmosphere, and an all around lovely experience.
Dennis Ng: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Beef Wellington, Gran Marnier SouffleMore
Nicholas Ang: Excellent food.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Anna Blixhavn: Best food in BC. Highest quality staff I've ever encountered. A must do! If was on my bucket list forever, so glad I did it! Authentic French cuisine from French servers and chefs. Every wine and dish was divine I can't even describe how wonderful everything wasFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
J Y: A very good meal where the flavours blend very well together. The tartare was excellent as was the onion tart and the classic tomato soup. Lamb shank was very good and scallops very fresh. My only displeasure was the souffle as it was not light and airy. It was very foamy and had strong egg taste unless to mixed it with the creme anglais. Service was impeccable. We very much enjoyed the dinner and will be returning in the future.
Dima Mekhlis: My favorite restaurant!
Alan W.: Absolutely phenomenal food and service every time! I recently celebrated a birthday here and brought my own cake. The hostess advised that there would be a plating fee of $4.50 per person. Fair enough, it is a hassle for the restaurant to deal with this. They plated the cake and used piping to decorate the plates with chocolate and caramel swirls. They also garnished the plate with mint and whipped cream! Wow! So impressed. The food of course was fantastic.

Hawksworth Restaurant: what do users think?
Maya Bourgi: Me and my boyfriend tried the tasting menu. Hands down the best meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Must try! We’ll be back when we visit Vancouver again :)
Sergio Ar: Food was good but not worth the price, if you want to spend your money there are way better optionsPortions also not worth itFood: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Alberta Beef Steak Tartare, Wagyu Beef Carpaccio, Wagyu Beef Burger, Korean Fried Cauliflower Parking space Difficult to find parking …More

sekureh: Overall very good experience.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Sandy Zhou: Leaving an extra star for the crème brûlée which was actually tasty. The presentation was there, as was the service but everything felt like a twilight zone episode - the appearance of good food but no taste, the appearance of good service but no warmth, the appearance of good decor but no ambience. Honestly felt like I was sitting in an alien spaceship pretending to be a restaurant. The food was extremely bland. I added salt and pepper every bite cause I couldn’t taste anything. Then the service kinda felt like the movie The Menu - incredibly attentive but no warmth. Almost as if management whips employees into a state of docility. And the decor! Expensive I’m certain but I felt like I was sitting in Homesense. What I’m impressed with is how do you charge fine dining prices for something so… cheap? Like dude c’mon I get better service and food at the hole in the wall mom and pop shop down on Davie Street. I pay the same prices at Elisa and Blue Water and they are far better. What’s interesting is we love our Hawksworth cookbook. The recipes in there are super tasty. But what the heck happened to the restaurant? This is our first time and last time.
Can Comertoglu: Good atmosphere and service. Great wine list. Delicious but smaller portions.Overall worth a try if you're in the area.
Niall Jones: Hawksworth is a restaurant that is recommended on various lists, is very expensive and has some awards. In my opinion, the meal/experience here does not live up to any of the above. The food certainly is not bad, in fact it is nice! But is it good enough for you to ever talk about it again? Or recommend to friends afterwards as somewhere they just gotta try? No. It’s fairly lackluster. The restaurant had no vibe, no atmosphere. The food was standard and uninspired, albeit very well made and high quality. The service was friendly but ultimately nothing to write home about.Honestly, save your money and go elsewhere. Our experience was by no means negative but we had so many other way better meals and dining experiences for less money and we felt that dining at Hawksworth represented, disappointingly, money and time that could have been spent elsewhere.
Samantha P: A long standing institution in the city, situated in Hotel Georgia in downtown Vancouver.Hawksworth had a lot of fanfare when first opened, and was one of the restaurants that were top notch and fine dining.Over the year, their reputation has slipped, possibly due to other competitors with similar approaches and style of dining service.I went recently with friends and Hawksworth did not disappoint. However, it also did not impress.Service was thorough and attentive. This is what carries the restaurant to this day, most, in my opinion.Food though is not spectacular. They no longer offer a wagyu beef burger but do have their house burger which is good but runs on the salty side.Decor and restaurant setup are beautiful and great for a date night or special occasion. The food just isn't worth the hype or price.Would return, since mussels are good. They also do a great brownie.
Kathryn Peries: Food was not satisfactory at all and kitchen manager (Dom?) was extremely rude when I complained about my fish smelling like it had spoiledFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Bruce Fullerton: Great service and delicious food really enjoyed the night would go back again for sure!
Harry Granger: We had a fantastic evening. Great food and fantastic service from the staff who helped us celebrate our honeymoon. Thank you!
Amir Taghiakbari: Great taste
Jenny Anderson: Had a birthday dinner here.Food was pretty good, but the portion was so tiny.Just beware, order more food if you are hungry^^
Scott A: Lunch was incredible, service was even better. Patrick was one of the best waiters we have ever had. Worth the visit for sure, food and cocktails were all amazing!
Karim Burnaby: Very disappointing. I received a Easter Menu via email. We went specially for the halibut dish and to our surprise they did not have it o. The menu. We showed the assistant manager the Easter special email to honor the the promo. It took 45 min to get our food and they were nit even busy in the dining room. To boot We got chicken instead of halibut Then the manager had the audacity to show us the menu again to indicate there is no halibut on the menuVery disappointed!
V P: First time here, but other than the Caviar, other dishes didn’t impress me. Ribs and lamp shoulder are both too lean in my opinion, even though they are falling apart, but they’re too lean so they tasted very dry, needs a bit more fat to add flavour. The East Coast oysters were even smaller than Kusshi oysters, and I’ve been to the East Cost, most oysters were big and plump. Other dishes were just standard, no wowing factor. Not worth it for the price.
James Koh: Great customer service and outstanding of quality food
K.T.: One of best restaurant in Vancouver and would love to keep coming back. Special thank you to Patrick for treating us extra special and delivering a first class customer service experienced. I highly recommend this restaurant and also look for Patrick and ask him to serve you. He will never disappoint you.

Botanist: what do users think?
Nicholas Quintillan: Certainly a terrific experience. I’ve known the lead bartender my whole life. He recently won some well-deserved accolades and he truly is the best bartender in Canada and even perhaps the world. A strong statement for sure, however, his cocktails are creative, unique, balanced, and ridiculously flavourful. The service was outstanding and the food was unbelievably great. If you want an “out-of-this-world” experience, come have some drinks and food at Botanist. Highly, highly recommended! It was the best Burrata and Duck I’ve ever had.
Daniel Jung: An exquisite dining experience! Came in for brunch with no reservation. Luckily, after a 10-minute wait, someone canceled.Service was brilliant, food and drinks tasted delicious, and the vegan dessert was amazing! The brunch was under $90 with tips included. Fantastic spot for a date. Highly recommend reservations!I will be back 100% thank you!
Heron Hanuman: I was fortunate to celebrate a friend's milestone with a group of close friends in the private room. The cocktails are incredible. Like really good. The good is art and I didn't feel hungry leaving. The wine sommiellier needs his own YouTube channel.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kianna Kho: Came here for dinner. Food, drinks, and service were good during the dinner, but I have to deduct stars because they charged my credit card twice for the $250 dinner. It took 5 phone calls to finally get the refund. I never actually spoke to anyone from the restaurant, only the hotel. Never received a note or apology for the inconvenience, the charge was just quietly refunded to my card and I noticed on my statement.
Joel Chan: We got the three-course brunch and it was delicious. I ordered the charcuterie plate as my appetizer followed by a croque madame and the strawberry coconut panna cotta for dessert. The food was fantastic and I don't know which dish I liked more because it was honestly all good. My wife ordered the hand-cut beef tartare, butter poached lobster benedict, and the milk chocolate coffee mousse. We also got the antioxidant juice, orange juice, and blue moon non-alcoholic cocktail which paired very nicely with our food. Overall great experience with a very friendly, courteous, and professional staff. Even the washrooms were gorgeous.
Amy Knechtle: Incredible place to eat. Amazing atmosphere and service was the best I've ever had. Ever. It's expensive but worth every pennyFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kristina Ilicheva: Recommended dishes Hand-Cut Beef Tartare, Halibut, Crab and Avocado BenedictMore
Dawn Mabee: Only had a cocktail but it was very special ✨Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Dillon Sharan: The ambiance at the Botanist is unparalleled - it's one of the most beautiful restaurants in Vancouver and a great place to celebrate any special occasion. The food and service are excellent. I ordered the vegetarian dish for my main course and was quite disappointed with the portion size - it was laughably small, fewer than 10 small bites. It's a pricey restaurant and the quality is absolutely up to par but after spending $100 per person, guests should have enough food to be satisfied, not wanting more.
A.M. Wolf: Trendy place to eat, drink, hear live music, and have the valet park your Ferrari.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Monet Beswick: Beautiful room, amazing service. We had the tasting menu brunch and it was really good. The ricotta mushroom toast and the brioche French toast was my favourite ! Really beautiful place for brunch . 10/10
Jennifer Kelly: The brunch at the Botanist is incredible. Service is impeccable. High class. Beautiful setting and lots of bright windows. DJ on the weekends. The brunch menu is the best deal as it includes two cocktails and three courses. Highly highly recommend.
Savannah: Gorgeous interior and even better service!Went with a group of 12 people so we were seated in one of their private rooms with no extra cost. The private rooms have a set 3 or 2 course meal ($65 for 2 courses and $71 for three) the only difference between the 2 and 3 course meal is dessert for the 3 course meal.Excellent service, always tentative to waters sides etc. Food had amazing flavour and unique presentation.I would definitely recommend this place for an upscaled brunch or dinner!
Nicolina Ricciardi: Roland has amazing customer service skills. Food came second to his service (but the food was also delicious)Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Kelsey MacGregor: There’s a reason this place has such an amazing reputation. Incredibly beautiful setting which compliments the service and food. We’ve never encountered such amazing customer service. Very accommodating staff. Best mushroom toast we’ve ever had and the pistachio croissant left us speechless. We will for sure be back and will tell everyone we know to come here.
Ben D: Great place. Comes with mimosas and your pick of cocktail with its 2-3 course meal. Drinks were great and packed a punch. Fair price for the flavour and serving size. The beef tartare was really memorable. Lamb belly poutine was a great mixture of custom French fries with a nice balance of cheese. Eggs Benedict had the right amount of hollandaise and the lobster bumped it to that next level. Dessert met our expectations and were balanced without being too overwhelmingly sweet. Great way to finish off our meal.$71 for the three course which me and my partner had. Was surprisingly filled by the end of it.
Kimberly Stephenson: A week after dining here, I'm still trying to wrap my head around how amazing this place was! The drinks, food, atmosphere-- EVERYTHING exceeded expectations. Even the journey to the bathroom was pleasantly surprising; I found myself lingering at the hallway photography exhibits, and feasting my eyes on the bustling lounge below. There was also a live pianist, whose effervescent fingers doled out jazzy covers to pop songs like something out of a 40's noir film. The lighting was perfect (not too bright, not too dim). It's impossible to say the service was inattentive-- they anticipated every refill, every wanton desire for more oatmeal sourdough bread (which was scrumptious). The other culinary standouts were the lamb shanks/belly (which now rivals bacon for me, lol!) and the sour-cream ice cream for dessert. Be prepared to crave another visit! 😝
Paula Gamio: Toda una experiencia gastronómica, increíble servicio e inolvidables platillos

Cathy Fitzhugh: We made plans to come here to celebrate Mother's Day early, as well as celebrate a birthday, and I was really disappointed in the bottomless brunch, which is too bad, because we've had a wonderful experiences there before. No one asked all the food was, my toast was burnt on two occasions, I had to ask for water, repeatedly.... and I was missing cutlery more than once. The service was slow, and the staff was in attentive. when people brought food to the table, they had no idea where it was going or who had ordered it.We also had to wait long time to receive things. At one point I was waiting for a biscuit for over 20 minutes (after asking two different people,) and when I finally asked someone again, I saw that the biscuits were just sitting in a heated basket right behind us.No one apologized, not even once! In fact, after the biscuit incident, I think our server purposely avoided making eye contact. It was pretty odd.Don't recommend.

Vasisht Raghavendra: The best experience in all of our trip to Vancouver. The restaurant and the hotel both are excellent and the service is top notch. As part of Amex we had a deal for the restaurant and the hotel. Breakfast was covered as part of Amex. We had 5 meals at this restaurant and it was the best all the time. For breakfast our favorite was Benny with Spinach and caramelized onions. The hollandaise sauce is out of the world. We also had Pancakes and Avocado toast. We paired it with a latte onee time and cappuccino another time and a smoothie both times. For dinner our favorite was Butternut squash soup. We also tried the Sablefish, Cobb salad, Veggie burger, Lentils and Chicken wings. All the items were delicious and sufficient quantity.Update: Came back here after a year and a half and the food was better the last time around.

Blue Water Cafe: what do users think?
Sean Wiebe: The food, service and ambiance was awesome. While on the expensive side it is absolutely worth it for a special occasion.
Pippa: Very good, but not too sure it’s worth the price. More of a place to be seen in terms of the cost.
Hans Moon: Nice food and friendly staff that would go the extra mile to accommodate for specific dietary requirements.Vegetarian options: Good selection of salads soups and other veggie optionsDietary restrictions: I told staff I can't have food items mixed/cooked with alcohol, they checked what I can have and asked the chef to change the sauce for one item, kudos for helpful staff.
Evan: Doesn't get much better than fresh and well prepared seafood platter and sashimi on the patio! Liam especially stood out with excellent service. Having previously been a chef, he was very knowledgeable and efficient. Definitely added to a fun night!
Bob A: amazing food and service. definitely top end but worth it. took a group of business colleagues here and the experience was very memorable
Amy Kiesenwetter: The food is unreal, but the service is outstanding!! Adam is the bartender to see. I was in the mood for a Margarita... And not the spicy one on the menu (also delicious)... So I asked him to mix up something cool and unique. I have no idea what was in it, but it was spectacular! I love walking into a restaurant and having the ability to talk to knowledgeable staff that follow through with delicious items!! That is why we all go out to these places, right!!?? Thank you, Adam!!
Holly Schroedter: Awesome experience here. No complaints. Service was superb, food was amazing. Would 10/10 recommend.
John Neate: Frank - best chef in the city. 20 years and still killing it with new creations every night.Stefan - overseeing every detail to perfectionTara - server extraordinaireThank you for an amazing evening!
Bruce Adams: Absolutely, hands-down, one of the best seafood restaurants. Innovative and delicious food, excellent attentive service , without hovering over us. Great atmosphere. The best upscale seafood dining in British Columbia.
joane tran: server with the big glasses was super friendly and so was the server that was shadowing him. was so honoured to be his first table ever! we couldnt even tell it was his first shift. everything was lovely, from the food from the service. professionalism was super good with a good balance of comfort

Lucie In the sky: My favorite restaurant in Vancouver. Service and quality of the food is always on point and has been consistent over the years.
Pablo Santos: I had probably one of my best dinner experiences last night. The restaurant was elegant and cozy, with a beautiful atmosphere. The food was delicious and creative, with a variety of dishes to suit different tastes and preferences. I especially enjoyed the Kobe style shortribs, the fish and the chocolate cake. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made me feel welcome and comfortable. I want to give a special shout-out to Adrien, who was my guide for the night. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list, and he gave me great recommendations based on my preferences. He was also very charming and witty. He really went above and beyond to make my night memorable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a 5 star dining experience in Vancouver. It is worth every penny and more.
HJ Marshall: We were there for a wedding. It has a cozy room for the special event. The food was great, the service was awesome and the couple got married. It was a perfect night.
Tess Filling: Staff were wonderful, drinks were great, and the raw bar dishes were delicious. The tsunami dish (pictured) was so perfectly balanced. We will be back during our next trip to Vancouver.Recommended dishes Ahi Tuna Tataki …More
Pamela Key: An exceptional experience with the highest quality ingredients and flavours. The service we received here should have provided us with a seven star option to select. Above and beyond. Thank you to the entire team, from start to finish absolutely incredible. We cannot wait to return.
Winston Mew: A delicious dinner with excellent service from Liam. A great place to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The seafood plateau was a tasty appetizer sized just right for 2 people. Just love the special fork they have to aid diners with the assorted oysters, mussels, clams, and other tasty treats. The halibut was firm and juicy, and although the steak was medium rather than the medium-rare we requested, it was still juicy and very tasty. We didn’t leave much room for desert, so settled for tasty strawberry & raspberry lemon tarts. Highly recommended for a memorable night out.

Chambar Restaurant: what do users think?
Mina: Such a great experience. The meal was amazing, the staff were so friendly, and the flavours were top notch.
Veronnica: Absolutely amazing food. They were also very good with my food allergies. Not only was I accommodated I had flavorful and amazing food. Went for brunch, which is hard to get my egg, dairy, and gluten allergy accommodated but it was amazing. They have an amazing gluten free bread, without egg and dairy.Their bacon and apple side was the most incredible bacon I’ve had in forever. Must get.Was told their dinner menu is extremely gluten free, dairy free, and egg free friendly.
Brenda W: Service was very good. However the mussels were so-so. Some mussels were overcooked, some smelled fishy (not fresh), some stringy and some fresh. Not sure what happened.
Sandeep Dhaliwal: Good food.
Kate Blackwood: perfect perfect perfect, what could be improved? absolutely nothing. their waffles? show stopping, met with great service and a cute area. Doesn’t seem too busy either, but it’s always nice to make a reso just incase
Jo B: The moule frites is my favourite dish of all time! A must get. The sour dough is also tasty. I love that they have mocktail options. The vibes inside are fine dining with none of the expectations of that. It’s a really great place to stop for dinner.
Leslie Gilker: Tasty Sunday brunch with the kids. Everything was delicious and finished with their famous waffles and tasty dipping saucesFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

Claire Blair: Dinner here was great, as always. Amazing food, service and ambience. Was expecting to have steak frites but when that wasn’t on the menu we ordered the bison carpaccio and it was sooo good. The Congolese mussels and broth are so delicious and I’m always surprised how many are in there! Very filling. They have such a great liquor menu too, including hard-to-find Belgian Trappist beers, and Fortaleza tequila. Fun to sit at the bar and converse with the friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Mark: Moules Frites - Congolaise - Probably the best/freshest/largest mussels I have ever had. Fries were kind of an afterthought and nothing special but would recommend getting a side of sourdough bread so you don't waste all the sauce.
Hyunju Jo: Foooooods are great!!! Wanna visit every quarterly. Because they change the menu quarterly(or seasons?)
Tony Durke: Went to an organized event there on Friday and the service and food and drinks were impeccable. We have been going to Chambar for years and it has never once slipped in its excellence.Everything about the place is gold. I always recommend it to anyone coming in from out of town.

Aimee & Jenna Hobbs: We were in Vancouver this past weekend and went to Chambar Saturday evening for dinner. Our server Dylan was just lovely. She was knowledgeable about the menu and able to help our thirteen year old who is celiac navigate each of the dishes that could be made gluten free. Several people at our table had mussels conglaise and really enjoyed them. My niece and I had the lamb which was delicious and my son had the steak and ate every single bite. We will definitely be going again! Thank you Dylan!
SN: The service here is excellent and food and drinks are really great. Big fan of the shakshuka and waffles with salted caramel.
Leigh McBain: Enjoyed the evening a great deal. It was our first time, had never actually heard of it before. Service was excellent, the food the same and a great vibe. From a price perspective it sits middle of the road - easy to spend more, easy to spend less, but the value proposition was there. We will definitely be going back.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Carpaccio De Boeuf, Thon Grille …More
Renée Frenette: Two words: brunch reservations.Need I say more? The food is very good. Very delicious and satisfying brunch options. I find the staff so nice- I really feel that they want to make the experience a good one. It's a go-to for us to bring visiting family and friends.

Connie Ono: If this is your first time visiting Vancouver, Miku would be my top recommendations on your itinerary list for places to eat. Now, this isn't your typical sushi restaurant, in fact, I would consider this to be fine dining and here's why. When it comes to Japanese food, presentation is the most important next to customer service level, and they are bang on. I absolutely love how intricate their sushi layered to simplicity on a plate. Reminds me of a zen garden. The waiters/ waitress' are knowledgeable of their dishes being served and super friendly! Dishes are, at minimum $20, but the portions are decently sized. (Anything with Wagyu will always be expensive). They do offer gluten -free and vegetarian dishes and non alcoholic drinks.(I had their Shiso Nojito and it was the most refreshing non-alcoholic I've ever had. Not too sweet either).Overall, I would highly recommend it for first time travellers to Vancouver. It's absolutely a beautiful place to dine in!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free available
Ayushi: I loved this place! Sushi was so fresh and flavourful. Our waiter was so kind and informative, he really knew the menu and provided great recommendations. Worth every penny!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Salmon Oshi Sushi, Green Tea Opera, Aburi Sushi, Sashimi …More
Keith C: We had the 7 course Kaiseki dinner and were very impressed by the taste of most of the dishes. Also, the portion is very large and we found it quite heavy.Favourites are the insanely tender fillet, the Hokkaido scallop, oyster, and fresh sashimi.Few of the menu items were a miss, such as the Uni (Sea urchin) which we found not fresh at all. And sake pairing was late for one of the courses.Overall, this was a delicious meal and definitely recommended. We would have liked some lighter dishes that were not fatty-protein-focused, or slightly less portion for lower price (like the omakase platter at the end). Bring a large appetite if you are ordering this tasting menu!
Junky Mailhai: For the price, I thought that it’s an okay place. The food is fresh and the service is good. I didn’t love the sushi. It was good but not amazing. At CAD $50 per person, I felt that it could be a bit more than what it was. The salmon sushi and the soba noodles were tasty.Recommended dishes Sushi …More

Milly 楊楊: Our server Kana was the highlight of our dinner She was so thoughtful! Never let our tea or water run low. Made wonderful suggestions tailored to each of our taste! I myself am vegan so she even thought to come up with something not on the menu to make sure I have a different variety of entree 😭!The food and the service is equally amazing!Thank you Kana for a great time!

Alexander Chan: Went to Minami last year and had saved Miku for a special occasion. Food was great and the space is really nice, but was disappointed they changed the surf and turf roll without changing the name.
t t: Sushi in Vancouver is an obvious choice and I visited Miku recently for the first time. Due to its popularity we weren’t able to get a reservation for dinner but came as a walk in at lunch time!! Great service and atmosphere, views right in the harbour. If you love sushi you 100% need to go here.
ミスタードーナツ: People go here for the pressed sushi, which is pretty awesome, but their protein selection is pretty impressive to. Try the lamb, try the prime rib.

Joel Chan: This restaurant was a fantastic experience. The food was delicious and had surprisingly large portions. Our server was professional and attentive. My ribeye steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the sablefish was also delicious. The surf and turf role was excellent and I would order it again. The view was also lovely during dinner.
Chris L: I love Miku! Every time I’m in Vancouver I make sure to go and get the tart in my photo. In fact, on my last trip I went four days in a row for lunch. Definite must try when I’m Vancouver.Recommended dishes Salmon Oshi Sushi, Sashimi Platter, Aburi Sushi …More

Homesteading Heather: Best food I've had all year. Staff were friendly and helped me choose some great dishes. View was amazing!!! Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar: what do users think?
Richard Mills: Really good for dinner, really expensive for breakfast.A group of us had an excellent dinner, with great service. Really recommend the seafood tower.Breakfast the next day was $50 for a plate of fruit and 2 poached eggs on sourdough. Really nice eggs, but that’s a lot of money for breakfast.
Victor Lo: Richard gave us an amazing dining experience at the Boulevard. We enjoyed the food and service very much, definitely recommend coming here to celebrate any kind of occasion.
Eliza W: Consistency in Vancouver is rare, but Boulevard found a way!A gem, like their amazingly fresh Atlantic Gems. Best oysters in the city.Food is amazing. Drinks are good.Find ourselves back here weekly.
Stephanie C: Nice ambiance and well presented, tasty food. I had the halibut special which was beautifully presented and prepared well. The seafood tower was impressive though hard to determine which marinated fish was which as it’s dark in there. Nice place but expensive.
Artun Duman: Okay food, bad service
ludmila santos: We went for oyster happy hour, the oysters were great, the shucking was a hit or miss.
brandon m: The food is fantastic and solid service. Hotel restaurants are underappreciated. My eyes took an hour to adjust due to how dimly lit it is. But I'm naturally blinder than a bat. So what's to hate? Also it's across the street from a movie theatre. Dinner & a movie can never go wrong.
Jo B: We got the seafood tower, sour dough bread and some mock tails. Everything was AMAZING. We agreed it was one of the best seafood towers we had ever had. The mock tails were pricy but fun. Overall we had a great evening enjoying some fine dining. Highly recommend.Recommended dishes Fresh Oysters on the Half Shell …More
Arham Newaz: Wow what an experience! We sat at the Gerrard lounge and the ambiance of the whole place really made me feel relaxed. The service is 10/10, there was never a need to look for my server or any lack of hospitality! The servers paid close attention to our needs and made sure they were there at the right time!( Without being overbearing ). The food was amazing, I don't always dine at up-scale restaurants but generally when I do the food would always lack to justify the value. This I can say was not my experience with Boulevard. It was so simply delicious and I can almost wholeheartedly say that their signature burger is probably the top 5 best burgers I had in my life. I will definitely be coming by again!Dietary restrictions: I substituted the burger for no bacon
Jimmy C: Breakfast buffet 3-star, but service is 5-star.
sai iyer: I guess a voice needs to be heard,I BELIEVE that Mr Kris (krishnan) manager on the breakfast front is A PATHETIC MANAGER,an employee I believe I was never given an opportunity to perhaps prove anything of worth. If Vedant didn’t even know that bacon is from a swine, very evident this may actually shock everyone else that it’s RIDICULOUS,proof with ME! IRON CHEF,is absolutely ASTOUNDING with your level of mediocrity, perhaps IMPROVE !

Amara Huntington: The service here is EXCEPTIONAL. Our waitress answered every question we had flawlessly and took care of us in a beautiful manner (I forgot her name but she was Australian). The interior of this restaurant is gorgeous and the menu is 10/10, seafood tower and lamb are both winning dishes. Definitely a spot to return to❤️
Sergey Samotaenkov: Went there during food festival.Nice interior, food was ok but I think pricy for what you get.
Alisha Kara: Amazing food and wine!Great ambiance!!Attentive service!!!Knowledgeable and friendly staff (shout-out to Richardo)!!!!Beautiful experience and would highly recommend for a date night or special occasion!!!!!
m !: tried for the first time, really enjoyed the carpaccio and the banana mille-feuille but the other dishes were alright - hot dishes were not hot.the gerard lounge is a very cool spot, oldschool luxury atmosphere - service was not personable
gino vincenzi: Good bar. Nice ambiance. Proper cocktailsParking: Good
Gunn ONG: I did a 3 night staycation and was there one night for desserts. Our server Jonathan was very attentive and pleasant to speak with. Dessert was amazing.HOWEVER, being a hotel guest at Sutton Place, I ordered room service and the attendant was horrible. I ordered pot of coffee and asked for it to please be delivered to my room. The gentleman immediately commented "you know room service isn't free right?" I answered "yes I know." Didn't think much of it until later in the day. It's a horrible feeling being talked down to like that. I wished I got the gentleman's name

Micahel Kennedy: Fantastic Restaurant!Great food, amazing staff, fabulous ambiance! Thank you for the great experience you created for me and my wife!
Natalia Rabin: Above expectations! It is an experience of culinary art in every dish! And its a wine list that makes sense pairing wise for the dishes offered in the menu instead of being there just for the same of impressing the visitors.
Wayne Mullett: Wonderful service and atmosphere.Unfortunately the duck breast was overcooked and tough.
Max Hnatiuk: Wonderful food and fantastic service, would highly recommend.
Guillaume Robidoux: One of the best restaurants I've eaten at in Vancouver. A classic dining experience, with great service and delicious food.

kelven wong: Love enjoying all the restaurants we have in Vancouver. Bishop’s has been on my list for a while and glad we made it.An amuse bouche (croquette) compliments of the chef was a nice way to start our meal. We had their Dungeness crab and sockeye salmon cake with grilled asparagus and a lemon-basil mayo. Very nicely done and perfectly cooked & bursting with flavour. For the first main, we enjoyed their pan roasted halibut fillet with watercress, broccolini and pistachio sauce. Beautifully prepared and the sauce paired very well with halibut.I loved their roasted duck breast. A stunning dish and perfectly cooked with apples, carrots and pomme purée.A beautiful way to end the meal with their earl grey madelins, maple almonds and candied ginger. Their service throughout is excellent and made the experience so much better!
Maling Sun: Bishop’s is the restaurant to celebrate special events in a romantic setting. The food was exquisite and beautifully plated. The service was impeccable with multiple staff ensuring our dining experience was perfect. The amuse bouche was a nice touch. The Dungeness Crab and Sockeye Salmon Cake was yummy as it was moist with forward crab and salmon taste. If you enjoy fish protein you won’t be disappointed with Pan Roasted Halibut Fillet. I enjoyed the pistachio sauce and spring vegetables with the halibut. Roasted Duck Breast was rich and decadent. We thoroughly enjoyed dining in at Bishop’s Restaurant.
Charlie Wang (CharlesLanding): Amazing evening. Great service and very reasonable pricing. The menu is perfect. Mushroom risotto is the dark horse and super tasteful.
Guy Dalcourt: Incredible wine choices
Grahame Rainey: This was our first visit to the famous Bishop's restaurant. It really does live up to its reputation. The food was amazing. I could eat plate after plate of the crab and salmon cake appetizer. Service was impeccable. Highly recommended.
Iris C.: Best in class restaurant. Service, food, drinks, ambience. I felt very welcomed, valued, and every morsel and sip was so very yummy!
Jesse: Top three restaurants in Vancouver. Top of the line food and service. Great atmosphere too.
Robert Larson: Our go to place for special occassions. Impeccable, friendly service.
