BrainStation: what do users think?
Vinojeith Varathan: Very Immersive Experience. I took Data Analytics at the Toronto campus and overall found it to be such a great course. Very immersive and am always supported by both the lead and the assistant lead on any issues we have. Great introduction to data analytics and has given me the foundation / confidence to start a more defined career in this field.
Roxanne Tan: Just finished the Data Analytics course at Brainstation. The teachers were knowledgeable and encouraging and it was great to be able to learn an additional skill set to add value to my day to day at work.
Sebastian Astaiza: I was worried it was going to be like other courses i had taken before with a lot of lectures and little practice. Also, I had little experience on data analytics so I wasn't sure if I was able to wrap my head around the topic. None of these happened. Instructors had lots of experience in the area and knew how to explain complex topics. All lessons had tons of practice exercises and collaboration among classmates was amazing. Never thought I was going to like it that much.
Heejin An: This course teaches basic to advanced Python, such as how to explore and analyze data in Python and machine learning algorithm types and applications. Even though I studied Python and Machine Learning algorithms before taking this course, I learned a lot. I could understand the statistics behind the logic and codes better and apply all those points to my own project. The best part is that the instructors are industry experts who are data scientists and machine learning experts in the current industry. It was a great opportunity to learn their precious tips and experiences.
Abigail Nierves: Took the Product Management course and it was systematic and easy to follow. The flow of the class was well explained by both the instructors and they were also there to answer any questions with clarity while using their work experience to elaborate further.
Muhammad Umar: Amazing learning experience, was skeptical to go back to the class room after this long but was a great experience definitely came out strong
Natalia Sokolova: I finished Data Analytics course. Overall, I've found the course to be a well-structured and engaging program that provides a strong foundation of knowledge and practical skills in the field. One of the highlights of the course for me has been the opportunity to work on hands-on assignments that allow for practical application of the concepts learned in class. These assignments have helped me to develop a better understanding of how to use tools like MySQL in real-world scenarios, and have allowed me to build confidence in my abilities.Another aspect of the course that I've appreciated is the clear and concise explanations of complex concepts. The instructors have done an excellent job of breaking down difficult topics into manageable parts, making it easy to follow along and understand. Finally, I've been impressed by the supportive and approachable nature of the instructors. They have been always available to help and provide guidance whenever I had questions or concerns, which has been an invaluable resource throughout the course.
Anyssa Siero: Great experience and would recommend attending the Digital Marketing course!
Miko Wang: good!
Michael Tran: I took the Data Analytics program at BrainStation and found it was a great introduction to topics in the industry. The 10 week course goes by quick. If you have an existing understanding of Microsoft Excel, you might consider more advanced programs they have to offer.
Ernesto Sanchez: "I half-way through the Data Science Professional Certification program at BrainStation, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.Great and knowledgeable instructors.
PIYUSH KHENGAR: I've worked with UX Designers for several years before taking BrainStation's course, and was always in awe of the magic they weave to create delightful experiences. However, in 2020, I started to manage UX Designers for the first time in my career, and found myself severely lacking in the skills and knowledge required to support them and their career growth. I wish I'd taken this course sooner, as it helped me to understand, and better appreciate their methods. Which, in turn helps me to be a better thought partner with them, better represent them in annual performance reviews, and support them during promotion reviews.
Freja L: If you're new to the field of UX ,taking a course can be essential to jumpstart your career. A good UX course can provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to succeed in this rapidly growing industry. One of the best things about UX courses is that they often include a hands-on project, such as creating your own case study. This is a great opportunity to apply what you've learned in a practical setting and showcase your skills to potential employers.
CTM C: My first class was a big shock as there is a lot of systemic racism among the classmates based of ethnicity, gender, and ugliness. The teacher should not have asked the students to make their own groups based on their personal liking. This is so unfair to people like me as nobody wanted me in their group. Also the teacher made some offensive remarks against women which hurt my feelings a lot as a woman who does not have a pretty face.
Saba Farheen: Overall, I had nothing but positive things to say about my experience. I was away from my studies for a long time but was admitted to the Diploma of Web Development. The study materials were excellent; the faculty members were very helpful and supportive. They motivated us to find the solution by ourselves by guiding us and not spoon-feeding us. If you are ready to emerge and challenge yourself in web development, then BrainStation is the perfect coding school for you. Be prepared to work hand and touch the sky!
Antonio Alvarez: If this was an airline; it'd be pretty good at overbooking.
Jason fu: Avoid
Doug “Whistler Realtor” Treleaven: This company is awesome! If your talents in I.T. need to be tweaked, this is the place to be enrolled!
Ab Alharbi: Horrible communication and evaluation skills. A challenge on which I got a “solid submission” and “it’s better than the one I submitted” approval by three UX Designers, one of whom was a previous teacher assistant at BrainStation, did not “meet the minimum requirement.” Then, that was followed by my calls getting repeatedly cancelled and rescheduled and emails ignored.Just horrible. Save yourself the energy and time and don’t even apply. If I could give negative stars, I would.
Darian Kovacs: They continue to put out grads that our agency LOVES to hire - well trained, well versed and solid response from their instructors for references. Great school.
Shahlika Shahroodi: awful!!!!! several Time I tried to call and connect to their adviser, their booked me and I waiting during day for 3 times and Nobody call me! one time somebody call me and he hang up the phone on me!!! I was very interested to start!! but how they guarantee for support people like that?!!

LSI Vancouver ( English language school): what do users think?
Julia Góes: Great school, with great teachers and staff. An amazing place to learn and make some good friends from all around the world. The location of the school is also excelent
Sofia: BAD SERVICE, BAD SCHOOL, ALL OF THE THINGS THAT THEY SHOW IN THE PAGE IS FAKE. THEY DO NOT RESPECT YOU AND DO NOT HAVE ORDEN TAKING ABOUT THE CLASSES.
Kevin Watson: Girlfriend paid 1000 that was accepted and claimed not to be. Provided evidence it was send and received, along with them sending an email that said they accepted and deposited it. They still claimed it didn’t happen. Complete incompetence from the accounting/front desk.
Juanjo Ville: Positive:Quality
Bahadir Cohadar: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Deutsche Sprache: I took a course in LSI. I would see my experiences was not good. I did ..not learn something new or just practicing what I know with different way , the teachers were nice and I love them but for me that was not enough. one of the weak points was the lack of examples when they explain grammar or vocabulary and that makes the thing that we study less memorable , I go to class and come back again to the class but I did notice any improvement.
Bruno Benatti: Incredible
Edgardo Augusto Mendoza: Me atendieron muy amablemente! Además ofrecen cursos de verano, que duran un mes aproximadamente. Ideal para un curso de vacaciones!

Business type: Art school

Vancouver Institute of Media Arts (VanArts): what do users think?
Deepesh sachdev: Female Respresenatative of vanart india was mean, rude, disrecptful. No Apology came from van art. was also asked to take down my bad review about van art for being brutal honest over social media in threatful way.
Prachi Bapat: I recently completed my Web development and Interactive design program from VanArts. It was an intense program. The professors are really supportive and give you ample of time answering your questions. Classes are small. You get lots of professional advice in your one to one sessions. Its a very hands on, project-based program were you get to learn from your professors who are experts in this industry.I would totally recommend this program to anyone who want to pursue their career in Web development industry.
Lisa Millerd: I took the web development course in 2021-2022 and had an excellent experience. It's a very hands on, project-based program where you work closely with your instructors who are professionals in the industry. Classes are small and you get lots of one-on-one time with instructors when you want to work through a problem or ask for professional advice.
sachi goto: I completed the Web Development and Interactive Design program in August 2022. You will definitely benefit from this program if you can dedicate yourself for one year and put your best effort into all the projects. This program is intense so you can easily fall behind if you are not committed to this program but you will gain a comprehensive understanding of web development, from UX/UI to SEO to multiple different programming languages if you dedicate yourself to this program. The head of the department, John Manoar, is dedicated to teaching us and constantly reminds us to ask questions if we are unclear. He is very approachable. He is up-to-date about technology and you get to learn cutting-edge technology from him.The way John taught us programming was particularly impressive to me. He is very thorough and he is more than happy to repeat until we understand.Throughout the program, I was very grateful that he is the heard of the department.I recommend this program to anyone who is willing to dedicate a year to being a developer.
Yuka Yamamoto: I am a student of web development & interactive design at VanArts. There was a head teacher change from my class and there seems to be a big and good change in the program. The teachers are very supportive. They are always flexible and willing to take the students' opinions and try to make the class suitable for our situation. The classes are always step by step and if there is a lot that we don't understand, they give us time to work on it. Taking advantage of the small class size, if you ask for feedback or follow-up after class, they will give me time to talk one-on-one.All classes are project-based, giving me more hands-on skills. The course content tries to help me study the rapidly changing front-end trends.Since this is a one-year course, there are many hard parts of the course, but my teachers and classmates are always very supportive!
Techy Ted: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueSTAY AWAY... especially from the Web Development course. It is useless and the teachers don't care about you or your future! This college is mainly attended by rich kids looking for a student visa so they can stay in Vancouver. BCIT is around the corner go there and get your moneys worth!
Pigeon Man: Critical:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Valueif you aren't a social person, you won't do well here
Risako Futagawa: I am actually a full time student in Van Arts Web Development program. This is the most relevant information I can provide. About 3 weeks ago our department head suddenly left and we have not been able to get a proper education. We all pay the tuition and we should be able to get a high quality education. Since the instructor changed, one of the instructor for PHP and Javascript never came on time, he will not teach us enough. Also he will never give us break and continue the class past our lunch time. Because of his delay, we have not been taught enough in term2 so far. All the students are frustrated, worried and concerned about the situation. We have been sending emails to school but nothing has been better. Another instructor started teaching us PHP from this week but he seems like he does not know what we have learned so far... None of the communication has been done between instructors. We thought this new instructor will be better. But he does not answer questions from students and finish the class early. My classmates and I really want to change this whole situation because we take our education seriously. We emailed this new instructor to have a talk on Friday. He said he will make time but he did not show up.... I am very upset about how school is handling everything and no one cares about our education. My classmates and I are trying our best but nothing has been working well. I hate to write a poor review but this is the reality and I do not recommend anyone to go to this school. When you have problems, none of the instructors are there to understand or support you. I do not think it is worth to pay an expensive tuition and get nothing from it. I do not know about other programs but I do not recommend web development program. It is not a good school.
Dave S: Horrible experience in my opinion. Towards the end, the school became cheap and unprofessional. They even crack a joke at your expense when you leave. I have personally not recommended this school at all.
Jessica Everington: I did the Web Development & Interactive Design course 2019-2020. The teachers were really knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I felt comfortable raising any issues and the department head listened to any concerns we had. They really care about nuturing you, and were genuinely excited to watch us grow and develop our skills.I didn't have any issue with the facilities there. They are basic, but you're there to learn not chill out in the break room. I had access to all the software and programs required for the course without needing to buy anything except a $15 domain name where we uploaded our projects. The school itself is in a central location and easy to get to by bus or train.I'd recommend this course to anyone considering a career in web-something. I say "web-something" because it's a holistic course that goes beyond "just" web development. I shopped around a few different schools and ultimately chose this one due to the fact they also cover design, business, project management, and SEO. I'm so thankful I went here - I went in thinking I wanted to be a full-stack developer and fell in love with SEO instead. Now, I'm a digital marketer. I don't think I'd have had that opportunity at another school. If you are considering the webdev course, just know that you need to put the work in or you'll get nothing out of this course. The webdev course is REALLY hard and you can't coast along. It moves at a breakneck pace because there is just SO MUCH you need to learn in a year.Pro tip: always remember that every project you do will eventually go in your portfolio. At job interviews they will test your skills, so don't put anything on your portfolio that you can't code by yourself.
Maria Lavetkina: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME.I wish I invested my money in the stock market than wasted them on Web Development program.Instructors make you believe you can be a full stack developer but that's not true. That's not how the market works. Yes, the program covered a lot of courses, but nothing went in depth.A couple of instructors were professional and good, the rest of them weren't.One instructor took really long to check the homework or other projects. And when I say long, I mean 4 months, no joke. The same instructor kept talking about his dating life. So I learned a lot about it but not much about PHP and JavaScript.Instructors tell you to email them when you have questions, but they rarely reply. They are great example of who you should not be.One instructor said that VanArts is a business. Well, then I'm not satisfied with a quality of service VanArts provides. The only one good thing about my time in VanArts is the other students, some of them became my friends. Most of the students in my class also thought it was a waste of money.I DO NOT RECOMMEND web development program. There are better schools in Vancouver.
Jacob Green: Positive:Professionalism,ValueSpeaking on Photography: a school that is invested in an individual's success outside of grades on a sheet. Helps by creating a professional environment, they can help guide real-life opportunity, with real-life working professionals, and an admin team that listens to their students
Arthur “The Old Arthur” Marto: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityAwesome school and people!! I loved the Game Art and Design Program. I learned everything I needed to be in the industry. Thank you so much VANARTS! :)
Salman Ali: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueCame with mediocre skills..learned a lot in span of one year.
Ian Manuel Hernández: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,QualityGreta! I completed the VFX program and learned A LOT, great for all levels of students.
Rohaan Allport: I'm a graduate from the Game Art & Design March 2019 batch. VanArts was in many ways what I expected, and in many ways not. I learnt a lot. Learnt industry standards, processes and became proficient in a lot of software. And I made many new friend with similar career interest. However after being guided and taught the basics, myself, friends and colleagues feel that program needs to be updated. Newer tools, and methods to accomplishing a task have since developed, An example would be making hair and adding hair dynamics.
Gabriel Antoniosi: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueLovely place. You will learn tons of stuffs in just one year program.
Mathews Gijo: If I had a time machine and were given the option of either travelling to one of the best moments of my life or back to that one year at Vanarts, I wouldn’t have to choose...they are both the same. This place is not just a school. It’s more. Vanarts is familia. The fast and furious kind. Besides all these, the staff is extremely helpful and kind. They are also a few of the best in their respective industry. The environment is very friendly and calming too. I for one have learnt a lot in one year that another student would take years to learn.I’d give the school more stars if Google gave me more stars XD

Tamwood Language Center: what do users think?
Kazuki Kosugi: I'm having many good experiences at Tamwood. The teachers here are really kind and friendly, and always give me encouragement. Especially, I'm taking Yulia, Rachel, and Maryam’s classes. I'm really grateful for learning a lot from them.So I recommend this school to improve your English skills to meet such nice friends.
S K: I started a digital marketing co-op in June of last year. After I finished my classes, I was able to get an internship opportunity in Canada with the help of Ms. EVA. She was quick to answer any questions I had, and she even spent her weekends helping me when I had a problem. She also encouraged me when I lost confidence because of my English skills. I am so grateful to have met her at Tamwood!
Maria Menschein: In 2018 I did my first course with Tamwood ( Hospitality and Tourism) and it was great. They always give me all the support not only people from front desk but the teachers were AMAZING. I had such a great time and learned so much about the industry. 2019 I did Business Management and I loved the fact of learning step by step of how to create a business now a couple years later I am going back to my material from class to use as a strategy for my own business.Thank you all so much for all the support.
Sa ً: أيام وذكرى جميلة | Douglas u r a great teacher
Gregorio Nieto: Great school, I studied for a full year and it was fantastic!Medium size school which makes it perfect for learning in a personalized way while having the opportunity to interact with people from many countries.Highly recommended!
Emily Wu: Friendly staff with bright spacious classrooms, very nice place to study.
FJ Cristòfol: Academia de inglés random. Muy buen ambiente y unas instalaciones normales. Lo mejor, los tiempos entre clase y las actividades que organiza la escuela
Jacopo Roveda: And amazing internal experience
Jefferson Reis Rossi: Patty is the best teacher
Sarah Tricon: Une super école. Beaucoup de beaux souvenirs.
Ana Paula Andriolli: An amazing experience. Teacher are amazing and really professional. Loved their methodology! The location is central, close for pacific center and burrard station. Their policies are nice, only english is allowed. They have some extra class activities including beachs tours, sports games and pub crawl.

Granville Institute: what do users think?
Taige Z: Worst experience. Picking up passport from this location. The Indian lady asked for my original email, but wouldn't allow me to use my phone. I had to step outside , search for the email and show her. Completely unreasonable. Plus, she is not friendly in tone.
Md Ashiqur Rahman: This 5 star is only for the lady named "Damini". Went to bls before that, wasn't much help. But when I found her, explained my situation, she was so much helpful with everything. If you have any questions or doubts, look for herIf she knows it she will help you. I just applied for a visa today. Not sure when I am going to get it. But I am already happy with how she helped me out.Thank you so much Damini.
Christina Nisha: The staff was very kind and helpful! The application submission process was soo smooth, and hassle-free. They ensured that there were no errors in the application and even gave time to correct them. Highly recommend this location!
ishita gupta: BLS Vancouver gave great serviceDamini raval was very polite and assisted very patiently with our applications. Satisfied customer
Mohit M: Absolutely amazing service, super patient with all documents and helped us with things we forgot.
Gadgets World: Very rude security lady …..
anuj: They scam in name of courier services by Purolator. They make you use Purolator by saying it's mandatory to use courier services and no pick up is offered at their centres. They charged me 5$ fee to track my document delivery through Purolator on top of courier fees.i checked with Purolator and they told me they don't charge any fee to track couriers. How shameful , cheap , shady and what a big blatant lie. Imagine taking 5$ extra from like 200 ppl who visit their centre everyday , 1000$ every day , that's like 25000$ in a month. This company is a scam.may be someone in company got a cut for getting them a contract with different courier/ delivery companies. I don't trust these delivery companies coz they lost my passport once which caused me great troubles and delayed my travel plans
Ghufran Ahmed: Went to renew the passport, the people were very helpful. Explained things very clearly and also helped me in printing a few missing documents. Overall, very satisfied with the service ! Great job, keep it up. The only thing is, there is no dedicated parking, so had to search a bit and pay for it.
Megha S: Visited BLS on W Hastings today to submit my passport renewal application. The process was smooth and the staff there were very helpful. They accept walkins and the wait time was about an hour.
Manpreet Kaur: My oci details on last page are missing postal code. Surrey bls told to go Vancouver bls .please advise the process
Ricky Bansal: I had a lost passport case and the staff was very helpful and easy going. Loved the service
Sunjam Kaur: I went as a walk-in to BLS and was very happy with the short wait time and accommodating staff! Gurneet, who reviewed my application was super helpful, friendly and efficient. She knew what she was doing and completed the application verification really fast, she made the experience very smooth and stress-free for me.I got there 30 mins before they opened in the morning - so being there early definitely helped with the shorter wait time. Regardless, all the staff members were very organized and patient with the walk-ins/appointment holders.
Keshaw K. Sinha: Excellent service and support. All staffs are very cooperative from security personal to desk staff. They really help you out and guide.
Jaspal Singh: The office was great- very helpful in helping me apply for OCI! I was seen by a helpful customer service representative right at appointment time, was missing a photo so I went and got it printed- she saw me again immediately and finished the application. Just one suggestion to have some change on hand for cash transactions.
Leveil Soosaimanickam: They have a very good knowledge at what they do.GURNEET IS THE BEST and very polite. Thanks again Gurneet for your fast and great service.
Divyanshu Chaubisa: This centre has a very humble and supportive staff. There was an issue with my form today and Gurneet helped me rectify and correct it. She also allowed me not to wait again and attended me on priority. Keep up the good work guys. Vande matram 🇮🇳🙏
Biswajit Singh: The staffs are very professional and helpful.
Rohan Pais: The two women that work there are very helpful and point out where one might run into a bureaucratic nightmare at the Indian consulate. This lets you correct your application. The walk in process is a bit of a hit or miss but they're efficient at processing applications quickly. Definitely the best experience among all BLS centres I've seen all over, thanks to the employees at this specific centre. However, I give the centre just 3 points for the scummy practices of BLS overall. There is no option to pick up documents and they force the courier option and the SMS tracking on you. The BLS website says that courier shouldn't be more than $20 but they charge $26 and change.
Anshu Khosla: The worst service by their customer service employess and the one working at the office, nobody knows exactly what type of documents we need to renewal of passport. The information given by customer service is wrong and when we go for walkin they don’t even help elder people. Even if the walkin is available in vancouver but they ask them to come by appointment really very upset with service. The service of passport renewal is better in india as compared to here in canada.
Master SinR: This place will be a source of your misery until you finally have the opportunity to renounce. A portion of the fees goes into fake positive reviews.
mukesh m: I had a great experience at the BLS office this morning. My application form didn't print properly at home and Gurleen (hope I spelled it right) there helped me fix it and got it printed as I was imagining in my head going back home and finding another appointment weeks later. I understand it's not an easy job to do with people coming in regularly for back to back appointments. Thank you for your help.

Cornerstone International Community College of Canada: what do users think?
Hiroumi Yokoyama: I took the lecture of Hospitality Management and my instructor (Dennis) was really great instructor!!He talked story of his experience was great benefits for me!! I really had a great time with him to study Hospitality Management:)धन्यवाद Dennis!!
Valeria Contreras: Cornerstone College,I’m writing to express my discomfort with the service I have received from the College. As a customer, I expected a certain level of professionalism and attention to detail, but unfortunately, my experience has been quite disappointing.Firs and foremost, I sent an email expressing my desire of changing representative to move forward with my application. I believe that as a customer I have the right to choose the agency I consider will handle my process responsibly. However, I received an email from an student advisor which name is Adriana Ortega, saying that I had to do my process with an specific agency. To be honest, I felt kind of forced to do a process with this agency named Latin Wise.I would like to emphasize that I’m not trying to be difficult or overly critical, but rather express my disappointment with the customer service I have received. For this reason, I decided to look for options in other colleges. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements to your service.Regards,Valeria Contreras
Jose Nova: Farshad
Martí Batalla Córdoba: Mina and Arman are incredible
Kunza RelaxCenter: If anyone is interested in studying in Vancouver, please don't choose Cornerstone, they just take advantage of the money they pay. There are many other institutions with a more human sense and set to fulfill the dreams of those of us who migrate. They are only interested in being paid, but they never answer emails and calling someone from a department is a problem.
Diexer Diez flores: Cornerstone College,I’m writing this to express my disappointment with the customer service I received from Adriana Ortega at the marketing department in the College. I had an interaction with Adriana Ortega on April 3rd, and I was extremely dissatisfied with her behavior.I asked her to help me with an issue my mom (who is student at Cornerstone) had with her ESL class, but to me it seemed like she didn’t want to help. I thought that as student advisors they are there to help students with issues they may have with the school.I believe that the behavior this member of your staff is unacceptable and does not align with the high standards of customer service that your college should strive to achieve. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and take appropriate action to address this issue as it is not the first time this happens with the same person.Thank you for taking the time to read my complaint. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and work to improve the customer service provided by your staff.Sincerely,Emilio
ลินร่า เกษกรณ์: I'm only here for a month to study. But I like the intense way of teaching, especially in terms of grammar; it helps me understand the core of it and no longer be confused by it. The teachers here are very nice. She understands students and cares about everyone. In addition to wanting to study intensely, there are many things that are enjoyable in class. Despite the fact that I was a new student, I didn't feel any pressure or adjustment. which exceeded my expectations (my teacher is Tetiana)Linra

ILAC - International Language Academy of Canada: what do users think?
LY: AVOID THIS TEST CENTRE IF YOU WANT FAIR SCORING!!My last ielts test is expiring so I took another one recently at this centre. My speaking score has always been 6.5-7 for the past 4 tests I took at other test centres in Vancouver and I performed well this time too. However, to my surprise, I only got 5.5 on speaking this time. I requested EOR and the score remained unchanged. What a joke
Mamtha Nagaraja: Exam centre
Long Trần: I am not sure about the office number. I called several times. But never responding
G Rhys: I tried to call them multiple times, it’s forever their advertisement and no one ever picked up the call
Karen: No lo recomiendo. Durante el co-op no hubo acompañamiento apropiado, no respondían oportunamente los correos, ademas algunos profesores impartieron clases sin metodología estandarizada, no aprendí mucho
Maheshi Nawarathna: This is such a horrible place to take IELTS test from IDP. I did the test in August and still this is November I didn’t receive any certificate home. Very irresponsible. Entry and exit to the building is so crazy too. please be aware of their crazy elevator.
KWANG BONG LEE: It's a wonderful place to study English and enjoy a dynamic Vancouver life for international students!Kind teachers and great curriculums!
Ampe C. Padilla: Lets hope you never have to call the office with any questions because you will be on hold for 5 minutes and just dropped without talking to anyone. I've tried getting in touch for days, several attempts a day and nothing
Laura Maine: Excellent place to improve your English. I recomend the teacher Mohamed
А К: Very low quality of online lessons, I do not recommend this school
Eric Vito IACONO: Not a good school at all... Mostly when you already get a pre-advanced english level... You don't progress when you have the pre advanced level. Ppl are a bit arrogant. During my stay, it was impossible to get any courses during the christmas holiday cuz the teachers took their leaves. But they took our money during those 2 weeks. That's unacceptable to pay for nothing. Ppl in the reception told us it was normal cuz it was the holiday christmas. Okay but we could get a kinda leave too and not lost our money. They tried to put a kinda teacher. That guy took his phone and using any games apps to learn something news. But for that we don't need any teachers or any courses. We can do it in our own home. I didn't really progress in general. It's just a money machine, a cash cow. Taking your money and that's all.I also tried to get a job from ILAC but for that I should pay again and a lot. So I had to figure smth out and I picked my luggage and went to the US and visit some cousins.Fortunately I find that super solution out . And my english level was getting even better and it was a cheap apprentice. Also ILAC's homestay with their family was also a terrible experience. They don't care about you. The families need your money to pay their invoices that's it.No... Forget that kinda school. Don't go! Do not!!!The only postives things during my stay were Vancouver. Such an awesome city and my Brazilian friends. Have a good luck...
Wildemar Freire: There are courses with interesting topics. However, not all teachers pass on the necessary content. They spend most of their time wasting time on games that don't develop professionalism. They pass written material for the student to download, but the classes are not as focused on the subject as they should be. And yet, a conduct of vexatious punishment with the students. I don't think it's a good method. It seems to me more like a public school where each teacher conducts the course in a different way, without a standardized educational system.
catarina canosa: I was from March until May in ILAC Vancouver. My teacher Helia was amazing. She is a really good teacher and very kind and nice. I felt in her class so comfortable and I learned a lot. Thank u so much Helia!
Olga Goncharko: This is the worst school I have ever been involved with:1) zero support - the website with class schedule has not been working for the first 2 weeks (out of a month), and the 'support' rep was just sending us back with 'log in to your account', where there was no information anyways. So that was a technical part - and they do not know, how to handle that themselves2) late provided study materials (2 days delay, while the class was studying each day by the book)3) horrible communication: the orientation representative said the class will start Wednesday (but it was Monday); the book was told to be received on Tuesday, but was provided Wednesday; the renewal request was asked to be sent by Wednesday 'to assure smooth transition' and 'no missed days', and even though we did all within the deadline, noone got back on time, and we were disconnected / removed from the classes...4) NOONE EVER PICKED UP THE PHONE! Does not matter, when you call - you wait for 2-3 min on the line and it gets you to the voice mail from there!THIS IS SHAME! Shame that this business operates in Canada and takes money for it.Now imagine that you are only learning to speak English and just arrived to Canada, and has to deal with all this!Extremely unpleasant experience!Horrible attitude towards students that want to learn. Seems like a simple money machine for someone's benefit with zero care about customers! If you have any other choice of studying, please go anywhere else! These guys do not value you!
Michael Rae: I was only helping a student find the school. I can't really rate it
David Gutiérrez: If you have at least a couple of years of experience working, or just a proper level of English avoid this center at all cost. You will not learn anything new. Total disappointment and more than 3 months to get my money back. If you want to pay for a visa this is your place.
Dana Saparova: People on the reception are so arrogant and rude. We were just going to find out about the programmes but with the attitude like this we just turned around and left. We also told to wear masks meanwhile receptionists weren’t wearing any masks. Why do we have to wear masks when they don’t? Anyway I don’t recommend this place if you don’t want to ruin your day. Please teach your receptionists to smile and greet people like normal people would do. Thanks.
Ana Luísa Mendes Pereira: A good place to study. I highly recommend 👍🏻
Md Nazmul Hasan: Extremely worst test center. I came and tried to enter before one hour of the exam. They even did not let me enter the building and inquire to the reception for exam details. Their excuse was covid. Really? I had to wait in the street. Then when I reached reception just 30 mins of exam, they asked for my passport. I brought my ID. But they asked passport and I could not, so I missed the exam. If they allowed me to enter the building at that time in the first place I could have fetched my passport from home in one hour easily. But they did not let me talk to reception one hour before.I will suggest you all to avoid this place. They are just charlatan ripping people's money. They should have a front reception right infront of entrance if they do not allow entering the building before one hour of exam.

Langara College: what do users think?
A G: My partner attends school here. The curriculum is TOP tier, and the Proffessors are very approachable. She is stressed, only because the possibilities for our future are SO great. Her class is similar to the course at UBC. And THAT is amazing.
Kay Matthew: For all the money they make in International Student tuition they sure don't put that money back into their staffing. The administration staff are terrible and have zero customer service skills. I guess working with International students who don't understand rudeness has created this weird acceptance among the staff that they are superior to their students. This school needs a major overhaul to match the beautiful campus and potential they have. Get your education and get out. No one walks around the world proud to be a Langara alumni, and that's pretty sad.
Thomas Yemane: Great instructors for math, physics, chemistry, was a regular at the Tim Hortons, big fan of the gorgeous T building.
B A: Outstanding institute
Kenneth Lai: The staff is friendly and helpful.
Arshit Verma: Worst college. Worst decision to get in here. Teachers doesn’t know how to teach , they make the easy concept by teaching it in a boring way. Even they do partiality. Also the courses of your programme are never available so no fun of choosing your programme because you never get your course. This college is nothing else but just a source of extra stress in your life. Never chose this college especially if you’re an international students.
Derrick Man: There are amazing and some bad instructors (some just read word-by-word from lecture slides and fail to explain the concepts).Since September 2021, if you send an EMAIL to some departments (Business, Registration...), they will respond: “We are experiencing a high volume of emails” or “We are experiencing a heavier load of emails” and will respond to your email within 2-14 business days. The business department used to not accept in-person service and didn’t allow students to walk into their department. One time, I tried walking into the business department. I heard people (Langara employees) inside laughing, chilling, and talking around with other employees. When I walked in, they were completely silent (lol), and they kicked me out of their department. They told me to send them an email (bruh, I sent them emails, and they never responded)No FOOD Options. Langara only has Tim Hortons, Starbucks, Triple O, and Subway. Those are considered basic food options (what a college is supposed to have). How are you supposed to survive 2+ years with these food options? 😂😂 You have to take a bus to Fraser in order to get more food options.TEXTBOOKS: When you don’t want to buy textbooks, or you borrow a textbook from a friend, they still force you to buy a package (ex: Pearson MyLab) that comes/includes the textbook. You don’t have the option to get a package that doesn’t include a textbook. If you don’t buy that package, you can LOSE 5-100% of your FINAL Grade.⚠️⚠️⚠️ Be CAREFUL when you walk to/from school at NIGHT. It’s pretty dark, and there are no pedestrian lights. I almost TRIPPed a few times while walking there. I already reported to the school, and they haven’t taken action.B Building is like a prison. Need to improve the design of classrooms and the building.Course Selection: there are few elective courses (easy to ok difficulty level).
HappyGirl1989: Oh boy, where do I start and how I can explain this. I am current kinesiology student, I wanted to know if my creative writing classes count as a prerequisite for kin 1150. The Dean of the department told me that is not a prerequisite for English 1123. I contacted the English department Noel Currie who is the advising for English courses. I showed her my creative writing classes, she gave me an override and waived it for me. I try to register for kin 1150 no success. I contacted the same person who is part of the English advising department. She doesn't even know why it’s doing this to me, she told me to contact the registers office. I call the registers office they put me on hold for over 5 minutes. I hang up and call back, they looked at my profile and told me that a prerequisite override has nothing to do with meeting the prerequisites of English 1123. This is only for if you do not get into the classes for English 1123 or any other type of English class. I am not sure what words to explain on how angry and disgusted I am on behalf of this entire college. I hope everyone is reading this and do not come here, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. Don’t end up in the same boat like me, this is ridicule and unacceptable. Oh and to end my review, one kin prof called my message a spam. I think your whole college is a spam, take that Langara!
Paras Paras: They take 3 times more money from international students but no special efforts are made for new comers and they are expected to be at the level of domestic students who are used to the education system. Overall all of colleges and universities work together to loot international students which is how they've built the structures of their building.
David Balkanyi: Langara College is like Flair Airlines too bad for the few nice instructors
Sabrina Chang: Langara College owns a relatively small campus but still with beautiful architecture and views.
LV Long: They just want the $$$$
gurpartap singh: Very nice college
Jaskaran Jaskaran: Worst college.
giao alan: trash
Hòa Đoàn: When I had to study in an environment at Langara College, I felt very negative because of the way the teacher's teaching caused. Teachers are the first to be born, I feel very dissatisfied because of the teacher's actions. Of course, it was not only the teachers who spoke badly, but Langara University itself influenced me, the school took a lot of money from me and my friends. In my opinion you should not attend this school.
Abo Tufano: Langara has been freshly renewed so that now it can compete with other more famous public colleges of British Columbia.
Eren Yeager: Management is awful here at this school. Amazing teachers though.
Harpreet Singh: One of the worst ever college especially for international students because they just want your money. This college never respond to any application enquiry. They will tell you that general timeline is 4 to 6 weeks for application processing even after 12+ weeks no response from their side.
Tammy Young: Went to school here was a wonderful experience some of the best moments I have spent in my life was here. Some nostalgic moments never leave you I will always remember you my college!
Robin Brenner: Good College

ILAC - International Language Academy of Canada: what do users think?
Cristina Ponton: I have the best experience in Ilac. I’m so happy to have many new friends include some teachers. Vancouver is the best place to learn, travel and make great friends. #iloveilac
Sarah Choe: ILAC makes me the best experience! There are good curriculum, teacher and friends from all around the world. It was memorizable.
Natalie Ya: The school supports the war in Ukraine as they state: we are for peace but do not choose the side as the whole world did. Don’t tell Ukrainian students who kill their families. Putin on his own?! SHAME!!!
Maram Fayez: I did not like the institute and their service is slow and they do not have a professional team to communicate with the new students
Dominik Pavlata: Spent one of the best summer breaks in Vancouver and had the pleasure to study at ILAC, the teachers taught me a lot and I also learnt about other cultures. Thanks again!
Izidoro Baccarin Neto: Good school!!!
Moushoom Islam: Staffs were helpful and supportive.
黃睿哲: It is a school that only wave their tail when you are going to take their class.
Ana Cláudia Cardoso: Excellent school. When I started my English program at Ilac I couldn't speak or understand almost anything. Now, after five months studying there I am already able to understand and communicate in English.
Lorena Montero: ILac is the best choice to learn English, the teachers are excellent and the activities they offer are very fun.
Nilton Nascimento: It was an amazing experience being here, I hope to be back soon!
오제민: 선생님들이 좋음 하지만 한국어하는사람이 없다
Javier Gongora: One of the best English schools in Vancouver, friendly staff and good teachers. The TOEFL preparation course is pretty good, you can learn a lot in a good pace.
Nina Bahrami: One of the best ones in Vancouver
Kkris Lin: Better school than Toronto camps.
Cintia Reis: Amazing activities! Excellent teachers and class organization!
İrem Sağlam: I’m so glad that I chose ILAC. It was amazing, thank you!
Adriana Noya: It’s an excellent school. The teachers are very good, they stimulate you speak, write and listen in English every time.
Y Nguyen: Enthusiastic teacher, friendly friends. Is a good environment to learn English
朱珍佩: I am very happy to studying English in ILAC.Here have many activities in class or after class.I can meet and communicate with many people from different countries. Let me learn English with interest. All teacher are professional and friendly. They's explain are easy to understand.
